    Ive had my Galaxy Watch5 Golf Edition now for 5 rounds and I love the thing. Made the most sense for me for all around usage as well as for golf tracking. Ive used it in the US as well as Canada so far and have had zero issues. Super fast at finding and downloading courses as well.

    Joel, although the Garmin golf watches don’t come with the CT10 sensors that go in the end of your grip (like ShotScope), it would have been good to mention that they are available at an extra cost. I use them with a Garmin Venu, which is a much cheaper watch and not quite the level of golf info on it, but keeps score, and tracks shots so you get all the stats you need for a reasonable price (oh, and Garmin pay on the watch is very handy at times, plus all the other health/sport tracking if you’re into it)

    Garmin S42 great value for money. Had a S60 before it, extra features not used much for a lot more money and less battery life.

    I have the Tag Heuer Connected E3 watch. It’s a lot cheaper than the Tag Golf watch by nearly £700, but has the same operating system and Golf app/features that the Tag Golf watch has. Also looks great to wear away from the course. Even the person in the Tag Heuer shop said the Golf watch is a bit of a gimmick as the standard watches are exactly the same and it’s really only the bezel that’s different as the golf one has numbers 1-18 on it.

    I have a garmin s62. I've owned it for about 2 years. It was a great watch til recently when the touchscreen stopped working. Tried everything from cleaning to hard reset with no luck. Now, I'm hesitant to get another garmin.

    i am trying to decide between the Garmin s70 / Garmin Epix Gen 2 / Garmin Fenix 7x sapphire ........ all amazing watches for everything including golfing....just keeping an eye open for a sale on one of them........the Epix and the s70 are the front runners in my opinion....cheers from Canada

      I wouldn’t go for the dedicated s70 , I think the fenix or epix is more than adequate for golf and offers so much more.

      I've just bought an S70, and it's so good. If golf is your main activity then it's fantastic for that, but it offers almost everything else that all the other Garmin watches do, extensive data. I had a Venu before, and this does WAY more in every way, plus the golf element really is extremely good.

    14 Garmin sensors are an extra £200, wow.

    • @dakdak7609
      @dakdak7609 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don’t need 14. All these sensors measure distance, with most showing longest and average distances hit. This data is useless with a putter and pretty valueless with any club you hit half / third / chip / bunker etc shots with as it throws all the data out very quickly if you aren’t hitting full shots. Those that do average swing speeds and tempo have the same issue (Arguably the tempo shouldn’t change but mine does around then green). Pop them in the driver, fairways, hybrids and maybe longer irons only is my experience. Also, not sure of the overall accuracy. My longest recorded shot is 460 yards. With my putter. (I wonder if that’s the distance from the 18th green to the clubhouse maybe? No idea).

    I’d it me or is it just typical, lazy or predictable that the recommendation is the most expensive. Your average club golfer isn’t going to spend £600 on a GPS watch if they are sane in the mind 🙁

    The game would be better without all this expensive and distracting tech. If you never use it, you learn to picture what each club in your bag will do.

    what a huge waste of money. just learn to play golf and get out there, enjoy the game, enjoy the weather, disconnect from you phone/notifications, and just play a round of golf.

      The game is growing, and with that ppl want different things. If you play the same course with the same 20yo clubs you don't need it. If you like to experiment, then they are great....
