Great info, but let's not beat around the bush, this video isn't a "review" of a brand new tech product like mentioned in the intro, it's an extended advertisement for the V5 watch.
I had a H4 handheld and it was great tool. I had issues with yardage on one hole at my local club, contacted their support team and they had a fix within a day! Amazing!
I'm a huge fan of shotscope, I've been using them for years V2 being my 1st one. I recently bought the V5 but have found it missing a LOT of my shots in the 3 rounds I've played. I'm talking 7-10 missed shots. Very frustrating and disappointed with it so far. Battery is ok but not sure it would last a full 2 rounds.
So I’m curious I already have an Apple Watch can you compare the v5 to the golfshot pro app that uses the Apple Watch. Since I already have the Apple Watch I can get 6 years of golfshot pro for the same price as the shot scope.
For someone who already wears an Apple watch and not really wanting to use another if I can get away with it, would you find the H4 to be comparable as far as tracking my rounds and using my phone/Apple watch minus hole overview and moving distances around like you can on the watch?
wait did you ever mention battery life? I know their site says it will last 2 rounds of golf using gps but nothing about total life like when using it just as a watch. Also have you guys reviewed the garmin Z82 that looks really interesting.
handhelds are superior to watches. the screen is bigger and you don't have to wear it on your body. good examples are the Bushnell phantom 3 and Garmin g30.
Really it comes down to the touch screen. Some people like it while others prefer physical buttons. If you prefer to navigate on a touch screen watch than the X5 is worth the extra $50 or so.
V5 all day. Bought the X5 in March, it was good but I had issues with the touch screen. Sometimes it wouldn’t pick up touches other times it would just go to another screen on its own. Unless you absolutely love touch screens I’d say V5. Or try out the X5 and return it before 30days to be on the safe side.
I wouldnt be inclined to use a fake product that is using another brands name, but if it looked like a brand name but called something else and not using the same logo, then yer why not.

How does Shot Scope accommodate for practices swings?

It doesn’t claim to be an independent review anywhere ….nothing to see here

I had the v3 love it moved up to the V5 it's great. one minor problem for me is it's not bright enough and there is no brightness adjustment.
was also curious about glare?

Sadly that was my experience with the X5. Had to send it back in the end. Shame, because I really wanted it to work.
I've never thought about using a watch because of all the costs, but for all-in $250 dollars, I think I am going to look into this
@jayroy26 you can get it for $179.99
Great informative review . This watch is going to be my next golf purchase . Thank you keep em coming
How do practice swings work?
garmin approach s10 is good enough

Whoa this is sick. Way better than Arcoss
Arccos UI is better
Great review 👌
Mansion Ridge!! Oh right, love the watch!
Does everything my Garmin Fenix 7X does except the tons of other missing features and true anywhere GPS. The price will be attractive to some though.
Is it better than voice caddy T9
Great video
Brilliant video 😊😊😊
I bought one and am struggling with it operationally. Is there a good video on how to use it on the course. Button by button.
Does it do heart rate and steps too?
It has a built-in step counter but not a heart rate monitor.
Can the watch also be used for other acitivty like running, bike etc. and does it have heart-rate monitor aswell?
Unfortunately there is no heart rate monitor built into the watch. The only bio-feedback built-in is a step counter.
How much weight is in the sensors?
Practically nothing (2-3grams)
Ordered it on the SS site for $170
This is a great gps watch … what is the next step down gps watch …

You would charge after every round. You may not get through the second round.
@@wrxjunki im not worried about rounds lol i only ever play 1 round at a time. im asking off the course how long does battery last

I did buy one but the charging cable just wouldn't charge the phone!!!
Which is better, V5 or X5?
It really comes down to personal preference. They both function about the same, but the X5 has a touchscreen and a slightly more premium housing.
Are you playing Mansion Ridge Monroe NY
Yep
I have an X5. Total garbage. Worst money I ever spent on golf equipment.
Can it be worn on both hands ? I am right handed golfer, but I wear my watch on my right hand…
Yes, you can select either hand in the watch settings.
I predict even slower rounds of golf as everyone plays with their watches!
V5 or X5 if you could pay the exact same price?

No subscription?!?!?! That's a first, again. No company is no subscription nowadays!!!!
Sold!!!
No playslike/slope feature. Distances are useless without taking into account slope
how about a V5 vs X5 video
They are both very similar in function but the X5 has a touch screen and a slightly more premium housing. Beyond that they are mostly the same device.
Come on, paid ad, not a review. No problem, just be clear about it.
I have the Garmin S 70 and this watch is better mainly because the app. Garmin golf app is the worst ever.
Not to mention that Garmin users are to pay extra 150£ for a full set sensors. Rip off.
Bushnell….don’t push old daddy ….accurate in all circumstances, cheap, not wasting minutes +++ for adjusting your Fgubghghbgu ! Watch
Nobody wants to paying $200 for a watch
Wow!! What a waste of time. Didn’t know I was going to watch a 12 minute commercial. But I guess should have…
