Enjoy Looking back on how the build started and watching you and Tara together during happier times….hope you’re both doing ok now. Waiting for your next sit rep on the truck. 👍
Your so lucky to afford and restore those old military trucks. Give my back teeth for 1 ready to drive. I think it is awesome that you include your whole family. Very cool
Dig the videos. Years of working rusted out torx on Jeeps taught me if you take a dremel and cut a slot into the top of the rusted bolt, you can sometimes get it out with an impact. If that fails, grind the head off and sometimes you can get more purchase on the stump of the bolt with vicegrips.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with the body once it is off. My EUC finally cleared, so it is time to go pick mine up and let the fun begin. Keep up the great videos.
I've been watching your channel for a while. I really like what you do - keep it up!:) Since you are about to take the body off. Would you be kind enough to measure the frame width at the tunnel part? If you could do that would be awsome if not it's okay:) I've been trying to find some more dimensions online and ended up with nothing and can't get my hands on any humvee where I live at the moment. Cheers!
Kinda random, but I saw a pic on social media recently of a statue of Saddam being pulled down and there's a marine in the foreground that I swear looked like a younger you. Any chance it was?
@@SplitBuilds Spraying bathroom bits in the hummer... can you imagine seeing the side sprayed pink.... oh your wife would need to do some serious explaining 🤣🤣....

Rome wasn't built in a day. Keep up the awesome work and content brother!
Step by step amigo!!!!
Got a stripped allen-head bolt??...smack a tight fitting torx socket into it.
Works every time! :)
Or you can slot it with a cut off wheel and get it with a screw driver. Had to do it a few times
Another great video - and so true "Everything has Rust" - the older i get the more I feel Lol
Can confirm, dewalt batteries must be slapped for proper function.

The radiator and steering video is set to private.
This the problem when buy either ex marine ex 29 pals or army ex NTC vehicles. Every bolt is rusted to hell.
