Most artists prefer to show the final product. You are a masterful stone creator. That porch and those steps are magnificent. Whoever had that done is a lucky person. Spectacular product, installation, explanation and completion. ❤❤❤ love that job!!!!
I've never seen one of these before. I'm looking for someone to tile my steps and I wanted to see how it is done. Wow! Fabulous job. No wonder it's costs so much money!! Thankyou.
Glad it was helpful!
Dis man is a true artist very proud to see a brother use his gifts wisely also a wonderful example to all young people that if you put your mind to something you can do it and succeed in life makes me so proud god continue to bless you mi brother

Suprb guys ...I get good knowledge thanks
Our pleasure!
Beautiful work my friend hats off to you for your talent
I have a new project to do now. Thanks for the video.
🙏fantastic work. The level of confidence and skill you showed from the beginning of demo, without rushing through or signs of haughtiness, is very commendable. A good example for showing how to combine both smart and hard work. Perhaps the music could have been totally absent or something softer as it was distracting and drowning out some valuable tips coming from you. Wish you both the very best in life.
Well done my boy. Respect Due. 👏 Bravo

Another good one Ryan! Thanks for sharing. What's the brand of the bonding water you applied?
Hey bro. You do awesome work ! i've been watching alot of your videos thanks a million for posting this stuff. question, have you ever done flag stone on a wood porch? if so do you have videos for that? If not, is it possible to install flagstone on a wood (pressure treated) front entry porch? Thanks in advance !!
Halo muy friend, the first comentary, very good work.
I think that before starting to place the stone you had water to remove the dust for a better adhesion of the stone with the mortar.
one like from Barcelona
thank you!Yes, you are right
Looks great! Won't the rise on the first step over 9 inches adding the flagstone?
SOLID!!!! nice job and entertaining as always.. no replacing of handrails?
thank you, homeowner did that afterwards to save on the cost
Top quality work again Ryan you've made a fantastic effort on that porch 👍🧱
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great job! What type of mortar are you using?
I liked, shared and subscribe. I am dIY. Yor video is very informative. Great job!
This is exactly what I want to do to my front porch. How much to fly you guys to the West Coast. 😁
Just subscribed. Awesome work. Quick question when buying different size pavers how to calculate how many of each to buy. Let's say I have 110sq/ft but I do 6x16, 9x16, and 16x16 stones how many do I get of each size. Thanks
MrRyan...its great to see your work is always nice to watch....your technique and illustrations are flawless....great workmanship
Many thanks!✊🏾🙌🏾
Nice men
Respect ✊️
Great work guys 👍What was the wetting agent and mortar used for the crack repair and the paver installation? Need to do the same project first my front porch? Thanks
Hi, great work! What did you use to cut the stone here ? Thank you
Hey there. great job. May I ask you where you got the supplies? I need to do this and I'm having trouble finding the stair treads you used.
May I ask what kind of mortar and grout products did you use? Thanks
What you mixing up to do joints I'm pointing up my front porch I was thinking of slicking it in ill mix mortor firmer what's morter mixture type morter ratio any additives? And do you put in some brick sand also
Any reason why you don't use a half inch notched trowel and back butter the stone? Great looking job 👍
Do you mortar or caulk the joint where the stone is butting up to the house?
I admire your work and your videos are beautiful We enjoyed it Can you tell me where you got the stones and how much they cost I live in Toronto
Thank you, I will, will have to check my book will get back to you.
can I do that for my pool area since its already cement ?
Lovely work, Now that's what I'm talking about!! Do you fella's ever take work in Ottawa?
Thank you, no its abit too far for us
@@1kbconstruction824 Awww. Your work is above average.
Was thinking of interlock or flagstone. Flagstone on top of a concrete pad seems like the way to go!! No sinking edges.
What size grout lines for this job?
its about 3/8
Hi Ryan, good morning.
How long after you put the creases mortar before you check it? Also do you have to put the front flagstone to check for the slope?
The time in based on the weather condition if the Sun is hot than its gonna dry way Faster,I would say give around 20 minutes are so to be sure, yes that's how I did it put the first flagstone to get the slope
nice work! what type of cement did u use for that project?
Which part?
On this filling the joints why couldn't he you mix the mator dry and brush it in then wet it?
🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
🇯🇲🇯🇲🙌🏾🙌🏾
how much per square feet material and labour
Respect 1kb
nuff respect fam!
Hi, what is the cost of job like this? You in toronto?
Where do you get the bonding glue, long time fan btw hailing from Toronto as well
You should able to get it at any local hardware
bless up Youself ✊🏽
@@1kbconstruction824 thank you, you to my brother
Can you please explain what are materials you are using in mixtures? Thanks
sure ,up coming videos
What are you using to set the stone upon? Tinset or mortar?
yes Exterior tinset is good
1kb .I see the porch is covered but do you have to put a pitch on the stone for run off ?
Yes you have to have a slope
My a lot of work instead of all that tool work to grind paint and fix crack next time just mud the floor on the porch and lay down backy board and nail it you will save yourself a lot of time and money
do you finish the sides also
yes we did
I've used that flagstone before. Did you find you had to cut almost every one? And what type of mortar did you use?
no i did not have to cut everyone for this job, Because of the pattern that the client Because choose, the mortar that i used is, mapei
@@1kbconstruction824 interesting. Ok thank you.
@@1kbconstruction824 i see. So you had it all planned out and had them cut for you? That's pretty cool. I haven't heard of mapei, it looks like perfect mortar for that stone.
You in brooklyn
no in canada
How long did it take you from start to finish?
About 3 days to do everything that's there
What matiel you use to joint up
type s, mix with abit of tinset
@@1kbconstruction824 whats ratio roughly you mixing with a drill is there any differents if I slick it in or bag it in and you would still and bit latex to mix and pre soak joints as per your video
What's the name of the tools you using to cut because I'm a female and want to do my front steps and I also want to add lights to it
You will need to get a concrete cutting saw with a diamond blade , are grinder with a diamond blade
You can rent them at your local hardware as well
how can I contact you guys? I am from Brampton.

Stop music. take fully natural sounds
Honestly...TERRIBLE JOB. 1. You used rectangle tiles from the steps to the front door. Then square tiles for the remainder. Why?! Keep the look consistent with same size tiles throughout! Now you got an inconsistent look! That alone would drive me nuts 2. Your not troweling the thinset onto the concrete base! For that size tile youre supposed to TROWEL the thinset using a 1/2" notch trowel. Instead, you just slapped the thinset onto the floor, did a weird "S" into it then put on the tile. 3. You didnt backbutter the tile before installing it onto the thinsetted base. Your lack of doing 2 and 3 does NOT ensure proper adhesion and stability. This WILL fail. You also could have used polymeric sand for the joints, but while that wouldn't be necessary it still wouldve been ideal...and MUCH faster. Fellas, as "pros" you gotta be better than this! What I outlined here are the mere basics of tile setting!
Great work guys 👍What was the wetting agent and mortar used for the crack repair and the paver installation? Need to do the same project first my front porch? Thanks
