    great video, I really like the idea of using that lumber with the cutoffs to level the sand, the trick here is to find a perfect straight piece of lumber

    Are you worried about trapping moisture between the blocks and siding?

    • @ONPOINTEVERYTHING
      @ONPOINTEVERYTHING  ปีที่แล้ว

      No we do put a moisture barrier when necessary against the wood

    What type of paver stones were used for the steps? I'm trying to find them and can't seem too!

      Cambridge (color = onyx natural ) regular size not XL 3 piece set , it’s ledge stone rough finish .

      I’m sorry you said steps , it’s Bull Nose and the color is Cambridge onyx/ natural or could have been nicolock granite city

    I've never seen concrete used under the soldier row like this. Is this in a location where heaving/freezing is not going to happen?

    • @ONPOINTEVERYTHING

      This is pretty standard by me everyone does this keeps it in place for years to come prevent moving from foot traffic / mowers / etc ...

    When setting paver never leave all four corners in like a cross figure.

    Looks like half a porch. Good work but the design element needs some work. It would look better with wider porch and the patio extend to the edge of the house.

      Thanks one of first few patios we did charge by the sq ft and customer wanted to keep price low with maintaining some space up to side of house for plantings , the next few jobs were big ones around inground pools . I will post videos this week after all editing it done .

    What type of blocks did you use to make the steps and where did you get them?

    • @ONPOINTEVERYTHING
      @ONPOINTEVERYTHING  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sigma wall stone by Cambridge onyx/natural I believe this was the 6” block

  • @turdferguson74

    The steps should have been across the entire doors. Driveway pavers for a patio? The patio should have been to the edge of that left wall.

      UH OH ITS THE TH-cam CRITIQUE POLICE , cut me a break customer wanted something affordable and for a planting or storage spot they wanted it like that .

      That was my first patio, Here in NY Long Island was charging about 21$ a sq ft, we charge now starting basic pavers around 16.50 on a large Patio SQFT and up a dollar or so depending on color / larger sizes . Also we add more for a concrete poured base.
