Yes, Lucy is very pretty, obviously, but her vocals are on another level! She takes these classic numbers from the 50's, 60's, and 70's, stays close to the original, but brings these masterpieces to us with her touch, her finesse, her power, and her energy!
Lucy Thomas has catched me when I first heard a song several years ago...she is top notch and worth for me as an elderly person to travel by plane to London on 22nd Oct. DRURY LANE THEATRE to watch her live on stage. I am sure this will be in any case a concert of fist class !! She has all of a superstar!🎉

Happy to see you started to get who is Lucy. About live performance , she did her first concert in March this year. She was signed by a record company at age 13 , but it looks ,her parents did not want any public concert , until she finish her school years. It is why, I think, she did so much studio recordings. Until now, 4 of the songs she did at this concert were published in youtube.: Allujah, at Last, somewhere and an original song from the musical "Rosie": We can change the world. In september she will do her second concert in Tokio and later on , she will be on stage , as the lead role of Rosie.

Hello George, you need to see her live concert from Manchester last March. Her voice is better live than in her videos, there are 4 live videos from this concert on TH-cam, I know you took a bit of stick from her fans on your coments you gave on her last video 1,000 years, Lucy has so many American fans, & many think she has a country voice so you not the only one. I to think she could also sing country, her voice is quite extraordinary, she can sing blues, jazz, gospel, pop really any genre of music. She has many covers on TH-cam with her sister Martha they are amazing together, Martha is 14 years old now Lucy has just turned 20 years old. barbara I am an American and I do NOT think Lucy has a "country voice" she has a beautiful, full, powerful voice, a voice to die for and yes her singing voice is completely different from her talking voice !!!

Our country is huge and as a result we have many accents or twangs just as the UK does, i live in the Pacific Northwest corner of the country and we speak clear clean American english, then you have the south and their twang and many are hard to understand, then you move further east and a little to the north and you get the Nashville twang, ie Dolly Parton and then further North and you get the New yorkers and in areas along the Canadian border there is the Canadian influence, eehh???, and then there are pockets and you have the British, French, German Spanish, Asian influence and you can hear most anything, But Lucy has a clean, clear, Powerfull dictation of understandable English we all can understand !!!

I’m glad I came late to this party. I’ll stay away from the nonsense about her little sister and her looks and just concentrate on her voice. Wow. She is just mesmerizing. What else can you say? I think this is her best performance yet, although We Can Change The World, All By Myself, and Footprints In The Sand come close. And her vocal range is stunning.

But I also think she could be a great country singer. She will sometimes leaves a comment in a reactors comment section. She also leaves a video on the Official Lucy Thomas fan page on Facebook occasionally. Just saying hi or during the holidays. I would recommend your next reaction to be ‘Evergreen’. It’s a very popular hit from Barbra Streisand. I think it was no. 1 two years in a row. All of Lucy recordings are top notch. Yeah I am one that got on your case about ALL about what you did not know about Lucy....Really dumb action and once you started you seemed to be NOT able to stop. My youngest daughter had a best girl friend she grew up with and she was drop dead gorgeous girl and she told us she hated it because people could not get past her looks to get to know her personality, It got to the point she wore baggy clothes, no make up and did not fix her hair unless she was going some where. And she had a tremendous personality, a fun person to be around.

@@jeffkooistra264 Our oldest daughter went on to school and got her nursing degree and spent 30 years nursing, 25 years as a flight nurse on the airlift helicopters she sang for fun and played the piano and was a better than average looking young girl, her younger sister in her senior year went to a trade school and became a dental assistant and later continued her education and became a massage therapist and today has her own business and has all the patients she wants, she too was better than average looking and her and her sister both played the piano and sang for fun and I see in Martha and Lucy many of the same things I saw in our 2 girls that were 4 years apart, between them they had 3 grand daughter the younger had 2 sisters 2 years apart and again the same traits as their mother, a girl thing.

Before you get any strange ideas: WYSIWYG. We had the honour to meet and talk to her and her wonderful family at her first public concert in Manchester UK. She is kind, modest, caring and a real perfectionist. Her biggest problem I think is that she is too hard on herself. Typing Lucy Thomas live in TH-cam will get you at least to 4 of the 17 songs she did at that concert. You may also like her duets with her little sister Martha. Current ages: 20 last February and 14 last November. I'm sure the others will tell you the rest.

My youngest daughter had a best girl friend she grew up with and she was drop dead gorgeous girl and she told us she hated it because people could not get past her looks to get to know her personality, It got to the point she wore baggy clothes, no make up and did not fix her hair unless she was going some where. And she had a tremendous personality, a fun person to be around.

I got lucky in that I had a pretty, talented, but not drop dead gorgeous daughter who went on to become homecoming queen (which she never once in her life thought of becoming) because she was both very nice and very talented musically. She went on to directing orchestras and managing musicals.. Anyway, a few more reactions to Lucy and you'll note how extremely wide her talents are. It's uncanny.
@@jeffkooistra264 Our oldest daughter went on to school and got her nursing degree and spent 30 years nursing, 25 years as a flight nurse on the airlift helicopters she sang for fun and played the piano and was a better than average looking young girl, her younger sister in her senior year went to a trade school and became a dental assistant and later continued her education and became a massage therapist and today has her own business and has all the patients she wants, she too was better than average looking and her and her sister both played the piano and sang for fun and I see in Martha and Lucy many of the same things I saw in our 2 girls that were 4 years apart, between them they had 3 grand daughter the younger had 2 sisters 2 years apart and again the same traits as their mother, a girl thing.

Before you get any strange ideas: WYSIWYG. We had the honour to meet and talk to her and her wonderful family at her first public concert in Manchester UK. She is kind, modest, caring and a real perfectionist. Her biggest problem I think is that she is too hard on herself. Typing Lucy Thomas live in TH-cam will get you at least to 4 of the 17 songs she did at that concert. You may also like her duets with her little sister Martha. Current ages: 20 last February and 14 last November.
I'm sure the others will tell you the rest.
Please use the term younger sister.

I have to say i don't think your actually that interested in our Lucy's voice, you have obviously carried out no research listened to two songs and gone on and on about her looks.
