@DubzVR you see it isnt as this is a old version of the game and therefore doesnt have servers for this old version cuz of updates

Hello, i am a gorilla tag player and want mods. I was following the 2023 tutorial and got to the fourth step of the mod downloading. I then ran into the error of when i went into the andriod folder then the data folder in CX file explorer, it came up with a message saying, " Click USE THIS FOLDER on the next page" so i hit OK and it was a grey USE THIS FOLDER button with a thing saying, "cant use this folder, please use a different one" and i cannot find any work around for this error. Anyways, this is sort of my "last resort" for getting mods in this game and i've tried everything i can except this, so i hope this works out. I would really like to use your tutorial on how to do it, but it's not working for me. I hope you find time to help me out with this, as it would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: I went to the dicord, on which the mod was just rude and unhelpful. This really made me want to throw my headset out the window, lol.

I had to factory reset 3-5 time now and not once have I lost my stuff, but one time I did spawn in tutorial and my avatar reset but I did not lose my shiny rocks or cosmetics.

I did about a quarter of this, till I realized I can’t download those 2 mods because I don’t have a pc. Or the patience. Or the time, I was doing this at 11:50 PM.
you dont need one. cx file explorer is the only thing you need
can you make a tut on how to install mods for quest using a pc? like put the files in ur quest from the pc and play standalone after.

You can only get mods without multiplayer with no pc you need a pc to get multiplayer with mods

For the people that are confused its because the “modded version of gorilla tag” is a different game that’s why you have to delete gorilla tag for this to work

that version is outdated. the person who created the modded version downloaded an earlier version and added the mods. that is the first fall update (around 2022)

You can’t get mods on quest. It’s literally impossible. It was removed from the system code.

Guys you need to understand when you download this mod thing it downloads a bunch of pictures to your files and you have to delete them all manually so just be aware of that if you don't want to do that
