Everything with Kate Winslet is so good. She is so smart.
Its a shame they didn't get any time together onscreen,they seem to have such chemistry.

Can you imagine dating either Cameron or Kate and then cheating on them?! Wtf. That actually blew my mind. Those ladies are absolute goals.
Most cheaters will cheat, no matter how ‘perfect’ the partner is, or is for them. Usually there is an underlying personal problem, or more than one, in their life history, that has/have not been addressed well enough. As far as celebrity actors go, also Sandra Bullock comes to mind, and Colin Firth, and more. Even unknown ordinary people can be gems, outward and/or inward personalities, and still ... So the unimaginable unfortunately becomes imaginable, and reality.🤨

It's weird that the only time both of their characters are onscreen together (not counting the phone scene) is the very end.

The Holiday is at the top of my favorites. I must have seen it 30-40 times now. I remember it came out right before I was about to move from Texas to Ireland to become a nanny for a family out in the country in a quaint town near Dublin. It was perfect. It really prepared me and once I got there I experienced a lot of what I saw in the movie, especially the first time I drove a car on the wrong side of the road. Thank you for making this movie. It was "BRILLIANT"!

+JustNess78 Oh I know. It's like a million questions for each role! lol I am reading Sense and Sensibility right now and she was soooo good at Marianne. Kate (and Emma, truth be told) was so good in this role. Excellent casting in S&S.
As for the holiday... I wasn't sure how I was going to like it, but I loved it and even was able to watch it with my husband, lol.
Benni Marie Agreed! Sense and Sensibility is probably my favorite role that Kate has ever played. When she gets choked up and starts crying after her sister tells her that she is hurting, too.... OMG! She gets me every time! Her emotions are so raw and so honest. She brings that to every role she's in and I just love it :)

Hollie Binns Usually I find it hard to adjust. It took me a while to get used to seeing Olivia Wilde as a brunette but I did after a while. I still prefer her as a blonde though.
