GIVE MY BOY JACK BLACK MORE ROMANTIC LEADS, PLEASE!!!!!!
YESSSSSSSSS
He was 36-37 years old in this, I'm not saying he couldn't do it anymore but age becomes a factor, he's 53 now!
@@myliamag.6512 And Jack Nicholson was 60 when he made as good as it gets, Meryl Streep was 60 in It’s Complicated.
Just because people get old doesn’t mean they can’t find love.
@@momochanjones7302 well said.
Hear hear🎉
I adore this movie, Jack and Kate make a really endearing couple! 🥰
There an absolutely adorable couple , I wish there were more men like miles in this world.
I see you EVERYWHERE on TH-cam comment sections
I watched this movie when I was young and I realized that my ideal man was Jack Black…a few years later I’ve found that man and he makes me laugh everyday❤
God continue to bless u both ❤
They were my favorite couple in the movie. Love 'em! They were so cute together!
When the World saw Jack Black as Leading Man in a Romance!!! ❤️
lol nice cameo of Dustin Hoffman @2:30 when he's talking about his old movie The Graduate.
When I see this part I just get all fangirly and think or say
“Master Shifu just saw his future student!!”
He was so cute in this movie
Jack Black is alway cute and funny😊❤
Miles and Iris’s story was my favorite part of the movie and Arthur’s character had a lot to do with that. I loved hanging out with my grandfather growing up. Listening to his stories while we’d build things in his workshop are some of my favorite memories.
I love that little look Eli Wallach's character gives from Miles to Iris - he KNOWS that they'd be perfect for each other. It's so subtle, but telling. Loved Eli Wallach in this, as well as Jack Black.
Me too.
Wish the whole movie was just this
Totally 😂
Love the random Dustin Hoffman cameo, lol.
"Why do I always fall for the bad girls?"
"You didn't know she was a bad girl."
"Pffft! I knew she wasn't good!"
😄 I love that line!
Kudos to the Dustin Hoffman cameo and the graduate reference!!!
I really liked Jack Black in this role.
" I used only the good notes" so cute.
That part made my heart melt 💗
HE IS SO CUTE AND FUNNY AND HANDSOME!!!!! ❤🥺 I want a guy just like him, so endearing!
"I used only the good notes" that could have been a total joke of a line but it WASN'T
It is my favourite moment of the movie, heartbreakingly beautiful
@@LuLu-in-a-MuuMuuit makes me cry
I love kate shes so awesome and have so much chemistry with all her leading men.
Jack black is an underrated actor and should have gotten more romantic roles. He had such a good chemistry with kate winslet
This guy is awesome and very romantic and talented.
Love love loved him in this role!
I will always replay this movie every year during "The Holidays"😅
Best Holiday movies ever 🥰🥰🥰
7:14 this is one of my favourite scenes ❤
2:29 Jack shows the cover of the Graduate and Dustin Hoffman overhead the conversation. Loves that!
I LOVE JACK IN THIS MOVIE!!!!!!
That Bob graze scene has been living in my head for 16 years
I love Jack Black
Love the OLD guys
Loved them both in this.
See Bowser? This is how you woo ladies.

❤ He used only the good notes! ❤
Madly in love with Jack Black!
This movie made my cry laugh and happy all at onces I look at it when came out and now2023 it will be my favor movie I ever saw it hit home I love it
This is the only movie that i really love Jack Black in.
The look on Arthur face says it all.
One of my all time favourites❤
Jables shoulda done more of thiese.
LOVE THIS - don't forget Shallow Hal
Sweet.
❤
I used only the good notes!
Dustin Hussman, se asustó
I like it🎉
Came here for Kate Winslet playing a Brit, it's the only movie starring this British actress in a British role!
Sense and Sensibility? That is just 1. She usually is brit.
¿Por qué en esta pelicula nunca se besaron??
Wow, OMG. Lenny/Po (Jack Black) From DreamWorks Animation Shark Tale Movie 2004/Kung Fu Panda Movie Franchise & Rita (Kate Winslet) From Flushed Away Movie 2006 In The Same Movie. They Really Have A Good Hilariously Funny On And Off Screen Chemistry.
Yep!!! And the all the way in London, Princess Fiona and Pitch Black are together!!
DVD rentals? When did this movie come out?
The movie came out in 2006. Blockbuster closed in 2014, and Hollywood video closed in 2010. However, there were still video stores around like Family video until 2021.
While I do enjoy the convenience of streaming, I miss the video store experience.
❤
Of course they make a cute couple. (Even though Jude Law was the only guy who got laid.)
He forgot he was in this
He’s so obnoxious in the dvd store!
I like Jack Black...but, is he intentionally portraying a gay man in this?
He’s not gay. They get together at the end.
Feel like this is problematic stereotyping -he's nice so he must be gay?!
Iam sorry but why did they cast jack black for this role???? I was laughing the whole movie every single time he showed up trying to be the "rico suave" type. That is not jack black at all! He did ok though.
Ok. Let's be honest. Jack Black was the biggest casting mistake in this movie ... and perhaps of all times. He was simply horrible in this movie (as he is, generally). He is not in the same category as Cameron Diaz ... let alone Kate Winslet and Jude Law.
Try reading some other comments on here. You are in the minority for sure!
@@rachelsewell7026 I don't doubt that people disagree with me. And that's fine. But it doesn't make me wrong. They guy is just a train wreck of an actor.
@@kdmdlo hey, you can definitely have your own opinion and somebody else have their own opinion, but you did say “let’s be honest“. That implies that you think that everyone that said he was good, or that they liked him was not being honest with themselves.
@@rachelsewell7026 Well, then perhaps I should rephrase. On the face of it ... he's just a horrible actor; he brings nothing to his roles. It is, at times, so uncomfortable watching his ham-handed efforts that I have to either turn away or just leave.
@@kdmdlo get a life, he's worth $$$$$$. No one would pay you for your take on anything
