    THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!! I struggled for hours and couldn’t find a video that had what i needed. Turns out i was missing that crucial Frame Display Mode setting. So simple

    OMG thank you so much for pointing out the sequence setting, it bites me hard since I've updated it into Davinci 18!

    Hi! thanks again for making these videos. I had a question. Maybe others will too. Where can I find the three dots that lead you to "Frame display mode"? On the bottom bar, make sure you select Media. Then you will see the three dots at the top, as indicated in Thaddaeus' video :)

      choose media first from the bottom

    Really appreciate your videos, been very helpful so far! Only critique would be the audio. I'm not sure if you used something like a mastering preset in Ozone or something similar, but it is bad on headphones. The high end is not good, and if using headphones with a normal db volume it becomes fatiguing. I end up dropping the audio lower just so I can listen to the videos. I'd suggest finding your eq curve for your mic and adjusting it to something like an sm7b, or if you are already using a good mic, taming the high end curve somehow and only using limited compression and a limiter to boost volume. Keep up the great work, and thanks again for the videos. This one in particular helped a lot.

    Thanks a lot! Quick question. My clips seem to be skipping frames when i render the sequences . For example it skips from 84 to 86 and its very clearly visible in the movie. Do you know a fix for that?

    • @azielarts
      @azielarts  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm interesting, it could be a frame rate mismatch, check to make sure you are rendering out the same frame rate at each step. that is a curious issue

      @@azielarts i render each sequence indiviually, but ill try to check it out. thank you!

    I think something went wrong, my final exported video came out to be 1 hour and 27 minutes long...where it should be only 19-20 seconds in length. Any idea what happened, or what I could have done wrong? Thanks.

    every time i render, it outputs it with a black box around the entire video. This box is only seen when i hit render but not before

    Hi,
    Thanks a lot for your clear explanation!
    I'm encountering another problem. Do you think it is possible to export the shots with handles?
    I'm working in Unreal 5.1 and it seems the option to render with an EDL isn’t possible anymore (as it was in UE4).
    My problem is, that the “final cut pro XML”-option isn’t giving me any solution. The render options are limited to “Data Source” and “File Name Format Override”. It searches for the 21 sequences in an MXF format when importing into Premiere.

    Jesus I hate Davinci Tutorials. No one ever tells you which of Davinci's many tab windows you're in.

      Ooh yeah I know that can be confusing. I will figure out a way of making it more clear 👍
