Thanks so much! We had a wonderful time in Quebec City but definitely didn’t get a chance to do everything we’d have liked to do in Quebec. The national parks sound wonderful and we really enjoyed getting out in nature more this year. Do you have any time of year you’d recommend for the Parks there?
@@AndersonsArrive If you want to visit the amazing; Parc National du Saguenay , and do some whales seeing excursions at Tadoussac near there . I suggest you June to october. If you like to hike and be very happy , you cannot just miss the "Acropole des draveurs" trail , at the ; Parc National des Hautes- gorges de la rivière Malbaie. Oh so many , things to see.. "The Archipel de Mingan" National Park is Simply Amazing. The Autumn colours in "Estrie" south of Quebec near U.S. border. Ok have fun ! Wish you happiness.
Although both of your poutines looked yummy a standard one is just, fresh cut fries, cheese curds, covered with gravy :-) I've had that many many times, and quite a few of the attempts to 'fancy' the dish up lol. One of my faves being Newfie style. (add stove top stuffing with the cheese curds, before adding the gravy) **note** It *'must'* be cheese curds. Shredded cheese does not a poutine make. ;-)
Quebec was a french colony and for you to say its "retained its french" it IS french. Like 80% french. You do any research at all before coming here ??
Just a side note. Canada is NOT "a commonwealth of the UK"... We, like other ex-British colonies, are part of a group called The Commonwealth of Nations. It is NOT a subservient thing, but more like a country club for countries that have common ideas about society, and share values and economic ties. Cahada is 100% INDEPENDENT! We just keep some traditions going, for the sake of history, and ongoing relationships.
A chocolatine or pain au chocolat is a lot more authentically French than a chocolate croissant. Chocolat croissant don’t really exist outside of North America.

It's French-influenced. I might have appreciated your little self-appreciating distinction if it was filmed in PARIS. We want to keep the language alive, but we do NOT want to be LIKE the French. We do things OUR way.

Andersons Arrive we as a country need poutine readily available, even the poutine I had at Wendy’s in Canada was pretty good

Basic poutine is french fries, cheeze curds and gravy, and the best poutines are found in snack bars and fastfood restaurants
