Amazing!
thank you so much for these! I love their style, and I really appreciate the transportation details. :) this is what intimidates me the most in my planning, so this was super helpful!
Thank you for letting me know. It means a lot to hear that my videos are helpful.💕
I really like this journey!! I cracked when you match your hand with Oda san lol may the godly skills influence your hand as well. Wonder where chopper statue is.
Blimey Yufuin really hits my spot with those magical scenery (and Beppu hot springs!!!) daym those steams are strong, how could such place exist. I wish I could visit those wonderful places. Someday!!!! 😂
Thanks for this! This is helpful for my travel to Kumamoto
It's my pleasure.
I really enjoy watching your Kyushu videos. It’s helping me with my trip planning. 🙌🏼
Glad it can be helpful, enjoy your trip!
New subscriber here 😊 I'll be spending 5 days in Kyushu next March (late winter) and will also be getting the 3-day North Kyushu Rail Pass. I'm planning day trips from Fukuoka to Nagasaki, Kumamoto and Beppu. Thanks for the video😊 It was very helpful in my planning. (I also enjoyed reading your comments in the video.)
Welcome, and thanks for subscribing! I'm glad the video was helpful in your planning, and it's great to hear you enjoyed reading my narration too! Enjoy your upcoming trip in the beautiful Kyushu!
素晴らしいですね😊日本🇯🇵から
Wow it looks beautiful, I want to visit now! 😊
I know, right? You should totally go! 😊
Thank you for this. I will be visiting Fukuoka and Kumamoto next year June. I'm a fan of One Piece. Can't wait to visit all statues there😍
You're welcome, and happy hunting all the character statues!😄
Haha! Yes. I won't leave Japan without seeing all of them😁
Wanted to drop by to thank you for sharing this. I’m currently in Fukuoka as of writing and have a 5-day northern kyushu pass and I did plan my tridps out based on your itinerary. I just got back to my hotel after a day of walking around Beppu and Yufuin today (on my birthday, no less) and I really did have a wonderful time. I just did it the other way around (Hakata to Beppu in the morning, Beppu to Yufuin at noon, and Yufuin to Hakata at night. Every place was really amazing and I really want to go back and spend more time on each as 1 day definitely wasn’t enough (I didnt have enough time to visit more Hells or visit the lake in Yufuin so more reason to come back).
Appreciate you dropping in and sharing your experience! It brings a smile to my face that my video can be helpful , specially on your special day, happy birthday!
I’m also going to visit Fukuoka and would like to visit yufuin. Did you visit all those place in one day? Also do I need to purchase the JR pass in advance or can I buy the ticket at the station. I’ve never been in Fukuoka and I’m traveling alone so I’m a bit nervous.
Did you take the Yufu train? Did you make a reserved seat? Would it be possible to do the itinerary on a non-reserved seat? Since I really am not sure how much time i will need i ln each place so I’m thinking of trying the non reserved seat (if there is) so i would have more time freedom
New subscriber here. Thank you for making this video. I will be going to Fukuoka in a few weeks and I would like to visit yufuin. I’ve already booked my hotel in Fukuoka so any place I visit will have to be nearby so I can go back and not have to stay over night. Do I need to purchase the JR pass in advance or can I just by the ticket at the station. Thank you
Thanks for subscribing! While you can buy tickets at the station, consider purchasing online for better preparedness. I also have a video on the process, check out Part 1 where I picked the ticket at Hakata Station.
Once I discovered this channel, I have been watching your many videos. I like how you use your angles when filming, bringing your audience into your journey. Everywhere you went was so green! Did you travel in the summer? I wish I had time to research more before planning our itinerary. Looks like I am in the reverse direction of what most travelers do. Our first destination in Kyushu is Beppu and we are flying in Oita from Osaka. We will visit the Gigoku Megkuri next day. It is a 5 min taxi ride from our stay in Beppu. The plan is headed to Yufuin from there. Looks like the only bus that runs regularly during weekdays is bus No. 36. I am concerned we may not be able to get on at Reisenji which is the second stop. The bus may already be filled up in Beppu. Maybe we should travel back to Beppu station to take the train?
Thank you!
It was May, so it was still spring. I'm not entirely sure about the bus, as I usually prefer trains over buses due to their predictability.
Thank you for making this video. How far ahead can I reserve a seat with the Kyushu pass?
You can reserve from up to one month ahead , this is recommended for popular train like Yufuin no Mori.
Hi just came across your vlog and enjoy watching it. We will be travelling to Kyushu soon, may I ask how you manage your luggage in Yufuin and Beppu? Do you happen to see any lockers in Yufuin train station as well as the bus centre next to it so tourist can store their luggages instead of lugging it around? Appreciate if you could advise...thank you in advance🙏
Hi Deffeniethe, thank you for watching. I travel light with only backpack, but I know for sure every major tourist attractions in Japan (Yufuin and Beppu included) have lockers in their stations.
Now are the lockers suit big luggages?I don't know, and will they be vacant, that depends on how many visitors that day too. Plan ahead and have a great time!
@@boukenrobinthanks
May I ask which lines the train to Beppu/Yufuin were? Can’t seem to see them on google maps
From Hakata station, look for Yufu train or the limited express Yufuin no Mori, both are operated by JR.
Thanks for a very informative video. May I know which specific train rides did you use your 6 free seat reservation?
You're welcome! If I recall accurately, I used the seat reservations for Shinkansen rides to Nagasaki and back to Hakata, Shinkansen to Kumamoto, and Limited Express trains to Yufuin, Beppu, and back to Hakata.
@@boukenrobinwhen you use the yufu train, are there also non-reserved seats? And is there additional fees when using limited express trains even if you already have jr pass? That’s what I read but I still wanna make sure based on your experience. Thanks
@@wikddm yes there were cars for unreserved seats on the Yufu train and there is no more additional fees with the Kyushu Pass.
from kumamoto to hakata, did you take non-unreserved seat?
@@g_travel3223 yes, because of reservation limit.
Hello, does the yufu train have a toilet onboard? Thanks!
There's no toilet, maybe the 'Yufuin no Mori' train have it onboard.
JR Yufu from hakata to yufuin has free seating seats? Or only reserved seats like yufu no mori?
Yes, the Yufu train that I took in the video have free seating (unreserved) seats, unlike Yufuin No Mori train.
@@boukenrobin thanks so much for your reply!
Hello, did you need to make reservations for the Yufu red train?
You don't have to,but just reserve if you can, to ensure ,especially during high season.
Hi! Is there a place in the Fukuoka airport where I can buy any IC cards? Thanks in advance ❤
You can buy them at bus ticket counter at Fukuoka Airport international terminal or Hakata bus terminal .
hi during your 3 day trip did you schedule it during weekdays?
Hi there, I actually just looked for the cheapest flight at the time, it happens to be at weekdays.
@@boukenrobin what time is your last trip from beppu to hakata? is the sonic 24/7 operational?
@@nazt499 it was about 7 or 8 pm, I don't think its 24h , but usually at least until 9pm, must check again, since they can change the schedule.
Is each day a day trip from Nagasaki?
From Fukuoka.
@@my.novita17 Bisa, berlaku untuk seluruh Jepang.
