I was too scared of the ocean to play this game so finally i can live my dreams of LISTENING to someone playing subnatica without feeling like i cant breathe
I'm scared of deep sea too but didn't have a problem with this. Stranded deep I had a huge issue with but this wasn't so bad to actually play for some reason
@@James27Simkothis game does a great job with its atmosphere, not sure if you finished it so I won’t add any spoilers but by the time you start encountering the scary monsters you don’t feel underwater anymore. It’s just the space you are in and some freaky aliens lol
Honestly I don't mind underwater structures, or giant creatures, or even the void zones. But I've watched waaay too many caving and cave diving horror stories that the underwater river and some of the other deep places get me lol

Literally one of my favorite games of all time. Coming from someone has thalassaphobia. So much love and care went into every aspect of this game. Could talk about it all day.
gonna say this here for everyone else, if you haven't tried this game, give it a shot. you will love it, you will get sucked into it for hours, or you might hate it. but anything you decide you should definitely support the devs. they do amazing work on these games and are one of the few game studios that actually listen and take in mind anything said from the community.

I've noticed he does this a lot. people will answerthe first question, and then it looks like they're answering the second question, (which is the opposite yes/no setup from the first question). then the 'yes' and 'no' comments compete in the chat and there's no way to tell who's on what side. lmao

I never played Subnautica, but this was very cool 😎 I especially think the base-building is very good. I like the idea of essentially ducting the breathable air into areas with low oxygen or whatever. Seems very versatile and I want to try it now.

Motion blur is good if you're playing on a system that doesn't have good performance, it can hide some slight stutters and skips.

Joke aside, agree with you on modding it should be to add new content. However sometimes what you call "fixing" a game is just changing how the dev wants it to be when they refuse to give an alternative. Which can happen for a number of reasons, such as it being intended balance in subnautica or Valheims "No, you're meant to build outposts and cart and boat things back from across the world so we refuse to let portals teleport metals by any means". Which they've gone back on, only because modders changed it and the vast majority of players refused to play without that feature xD
