Benicio really captures the art of being an actor, bend it when you can bend it, take it somewhere where no one else would go. Now all his scenes are iconic.
@@patriceaqa288 funny story too, the almost unintelligible voice he uses was his and the director’s idea. Del Toro improvised it because he reasoned the only real thing his character was to do was die to set an example to the rest of the team if they chose to run or stab Soze in the back. The director agreed, basically reasoning since he would die, it really didn’t matter what he said
I love how this video is the only video on this channel and this channel is called Unusual Fenster. I guess I'm not expecting more videos so thank you random guy for posting this. Exactly what I wanted. Also Fenster is the most underrated guy in this movie. Best Supporting character ever. I wish he got nominated for best supporting Oscar and I'm glad Kevin Spacey won it.
Watch dead presidents from 95,same year as this...and watch Terrence play a mumbling, welldressed crook. He´s like black Fenster there soi youre not wrong.
This is an excellent film; full of hidden details, subtext and nuances. It's one of my greatest films of all time for many reasons. What I really love about this film is how the production team was able to tell us that Fenster and McManus were intimates without a bunch of shots of the two men making out. You had to pay attention.
This dude shares my last name which weirds me out when people say it bc it's such an uncommon last name and I usually automatically assume they mean my family

I watched everything he did for a long time hoping to see fenster again.
That's how I learned what acting is.
"Flip you for real." LMAO
Only worthy comment. 😮
“He’ll flip ya!!” “Flip you fo’real!!”
That walk in the beginning was my intro to this amazing cat.

Fenster is still my favorite character in this movie.

This is a movie that I wish I could watch for the first time again.
"Soze, some kinda butcha... peerless psycho fked up butcha" is one of the best lines in cinema
My favorite is "why you gotta do that? Trynna make a point"
Pityless not peerless, he has no pity
I remember watching this movie as a kid and Benecio always made me laugh out loud, I always forget he was the first to go of the crew
Del Toro gives a performance so real and audacious it reminds me of Marlon Brando when he was young. Just brilliant.
This is one of my all-time favorite movies. The entire cast is brilliant.
Everybody keeps asking him, "what did you say," but I understand him perfectly. I guess it's because I'm from the South.
In the end fenster knew the most about soze. Says a lot.
The fact he’s arrested in a red tuxedo is so subtle yet genius.
That was his idea to dress up unique so his small part would be memorable including the garbled accent .He came up with it not the writers 😉
There's nothing subtle about a red tuxedo, but I get your point.
It's a black suit. Red shirt.
No dislikes on this video. That is refreshing, well met, and not surprising. Well done to Mr. Del Toro, and well done to this maker of this video.
And now we'll never know if there are any...
@@jsward96Yep.
He has the most unique way of speaking of any character I know .. lol

A lot of this movie was improvised. That’s amazing
Poor Fenster thought he could flee Kaiser Sauce
SO BEAUTIFUL
Sublime actor. So charismatic.
lol did Nate Diaz inspire this character?
I love that he's referencing Thelonious Monk with that "flip you for real" dialog. Look up the documentary Straight No Chaser.

Benicio Del Toro once randomly made out with Scarlett Johansson in an elevator.
