Just installed mine yesterday and although there are several videos out there on how to complete, this was by far the best one. She didn't go crazy with the details to leave you confused and gave you just enough info to fill confident. Awesome video.
just swapped my lamps out last month. This is by far the best install vid for these. You included a bunch of small details missed by other vids. Thanks for sharing.
Sarah, Great job on this video! Very clear step by step instructions. Your voice is clear and your are well spoken. It's a little tricky for a first timer. You and this video were my best friend throughout the process. You are smart and and talented teach. Thanks for the help, could not have did it without you. 😊 H
Some feedback. There are two different lengths and thread types for the screws holding the light assembly. You don't cover which screws go where. Not your fault; I lost track of which one goes where... audience, make sure you use one of the short ones for the side light. They don't mention that in this video
Great step by step of how to get at the light and the items needed to be removed furst. Also great comment from a subscriber on how the 23 models differs slightly with the use of some pop rivets. Thanks all
@@505Zombieman there were no error codes, they worked great. I enjoyed my jeep for 1 year then it was totaled. A guy took a stop sign, speeding and no insurance.
Just heads up, install is a little different for '23 year model. There are four plastic rivets on the fender that you will have to pop out and replace, they can not be reused. To get to the side marker light you must remove the bracket, also held in by a rivet. Once out it makes swapping the actual housing a snap.....
Also, you didn't mention anything about the green wire plug requirement and left those wires exposed and unplugged in the video. I have a Rubicon, so do I plug it in or leave it unplugged?
This is to prevent any hyper flashing or flickering with the LED's. We would recommend to still install this with the turn signals. Thanks for watching!
Great install video!! I always check out your channel for installs of numerous products before searching other. What side step/sliders are those? And what front mud flaps? Thank you!!
I bought these 2 months ago and installed them they look great but ever since every time i turn on my signals they stop and i get a message on the dash board right/left turn signal not working! Now that i saw the video, i noticed i didn’t get the connecting harness, it was missing from the package. How can i buy it (noting that i bought it from Amazon so it’s new)?
Have DV8 headlights installed what to know which wires to install amber signal wire to and which color wire is DRL. Want to direct wire white halos to drl instead of fuse box. Wires on new turn signals are white, yellow, green blue and black. On both left and right side lights.
I purchased these and installed them on a 2023 halogen gladiator Rubicon, and I do not get the white DRL's. No clue why... Do I need to get a Tazer to get them to be my "new" DRL's? Help, I can't find any info on this issue. :/
Ok. So after trial and error. The yellow wire off the headlights will activate the amber turn signals. My question is if your replacing the halogen headlights with LED headlights. Do you hook up the green wire? Per instructions if hooking up to stock halogens hook up the red wire leave the green wire disconnected. If you have leds hook up red and green wires. So do you hook up the green wire or not.
It was such a mess i gave it at the end, instructions are useless! Until now everytime i turn my signals i get a message on the dashboard that turn signals are off! Now that i saw the video i even noticed that there is a wiring harness that Sarah used was missing from the package i received from Amazon. Such a shame cz the product looks nice and it looks good with the Headlights i bought 😢😢
@@MrJikosta instructions useless and it did come unplugged for halogen and led, so I guess you go with halogen if that is OEM Factory and that's red to red and the white to the green, none should be disconnected. I installed with no problems last month. only problem is fitting it into the housing, i didn't take off the fender, it took all day wiggling it, longest install in my life. 4-5hrs on first side, over 2hrs on the other side.
@@KevinLee-ro7ui hahaha me too i never took the fenders off but i managed with the help of my friend to fit them without scratches… I’ll re-try to fiz the wiring according to the color matching u mentioned, let’s see how it goes i’ll keep u posted Thanks man appreciate it
@@MrJikosta Yes, definitely need a friends help. I was worried about scratching it too, but all the long hard work paid off I guess, because it looks much better than the OEM!
So your Wrangler has a separate marker light and turn signal on the front of your fenders, right? Not a single bulb that works for both functions? If so - then yes! These will work fine! -Zach
Green and white wires are for if you have factory led lights. In this case only you connect red wire to red and green to red. If u have factory standard lights .then you only use the red wire do not use the green or white.
I ordered these from Extreme Terrain and when they arrived the box says 2018 Jeep Wrangler. Do they all say wrangler on the box? Just curious before I start install. Thanks
Word of caution. If you have an Overland, this guide is nothing like it. Every single step has been different. Not that this is a bad tutorial...but everything is different on the Overland trim. And it's proving to be extremely difficult. I managed to get the liner off, but you need to replace the rivet clips. Make sure you have those. However now I'm trying to disconnect the light and I'm stuck. I've unscrewed so many things, and the light isn't budging. :(

Have you got any error codes since installing?

Great heads-up, thanks as I have the 23 gladiator. How did you remove the rivets? Where to buy replacements? Special tools? Thanks so much
Also, any video on the full fender removal instead?
Will the installation cause any error codes?
I’m looking to order these for my 2021 gladiator Willys but on the site it’s saying it won’t fit. Is there another version?
Once these are added do you have to deal with the hyper flash issues?
Also, you didn't mention anything about the green wire plug requirement and left those wires exposed and unplugged in the video. I have a Rubicon, so do I plug it in or leave it unplugged?
What is the purpose of the ballast?
If you have a tazer installed already do you still need to hook that up. Great video. Thanks for your time

These shouldn't throw any error codes!
Will these work on the non-sport Willys edition? For example, mine is a Willys not a Willys "Sport". Thank you.
