Well guys, you have been asking for a review of this brand for some time and let me tell you now I have got my hands on their products I am impressed.. What are your thoughts on the products, let me know in the comments below xx
I have enjoyed the relaxing night cream and Amil C whip cream however they both have active ingredients and I have recently added serums to my routine and feel they would be overkill together! Love the packaging, quick postage and great customer service
Forgot to add they also have policy giving I think 365 days to return a product if you're unhappy with it. Aside from The Ordinary can't say many of the other top brands are offering this.
Hey hun thank you so much for calling that out I did mean to mention it in the video but I totally forgot which is super annoying.. I think it is only FT and the ordinary which offer this which is amazing and something which I wish more companies would do xx
FINALLY. Literally so excited for you to try and review face theory! I really like their 15% Azclear serum and their porebright is my morning antioxidant. Thank you thank you thank you for talking about them! x
Hey hun thank you so so much for watching and I am so so pleased I tried them as they have some amazing products.. I am hooked on the whipped moisturizer already xx
@@jaysoon2001 Which one is better - the porebright or the azelaic acid one? In terms of reducing redness and oiliness on the face? And even out skin tone? My skin is very oily and acne prone so which one would suit it best?
Just received my first Facetheory order and I'm already impressed!! Thank you! I used the calming green tea clay mask and the Amil-C whip today. Wow! I can't wait to try the clarifying cleanser that I ordered as well 🙂
Yay I am so pleased you love them, great way to kick off 2021 :) I have just tried the green tea mask myself and I am loving it so much.. sending lots of love xx
When I tried these products I was actually shocked how much they helped to improve my skin. I use to buy very expensive professional products, but they didn’t help me so much as FaceTheory. I use Zo Skin health exfoliating cleanser or IS Clinical complex cleanser these I can’t change I love them, but together with FaceTheory cream and serum it’s just make wonders. I’m still shocked! Because it’s so affordable compare to professional products, and these works so so well!
I loved seeing your review. I had never heard of this brand till about a month ago so I researched every product and instantly bought 10 items. I'm hooked already! So far I'm loving everything I bought but the Clarifying Cleanser has blown my mind. I wish it came in a squeeze tube. Major glow! Pore Bright is fabulous as well. Ohhh I didn't get the glycolic body cream...now I must buy more products after seeing your faves! I'm also really loving the Mandelibright Serum (very gentle for my melasma), RegenaC20 serum is quite nice but a bit tacky. And I REALLY LOVE the Supergel Moisturizer. Fabulous for my oily, acne prone skin. Paula's Choice has been a HG for 20 years but some of these products may take the place of some of my PC faves!🙈
Hey hun thank you so so so much for sharing your experiences... I have been totally blown away with most of their products so far and I need to get my hands on the mandelibright but it was sold out when I put in my order which was annoying as I think it sounds amazing.. Sending lots of love from the UK xx
I totally agree it looks so interesting and I love a gentle product as I am on a high strength retinol at the moment so need to be careful with the other products I use xx
Hi there, Rob! I have just been on the Facetheory website, and found the "Relaxing Night Cream M10" moisturizer. It has shea butter, vit. E, argon oil, HA, AND vit. C and is only $13.99 in the US~ Perfect for my mature skin. It's an amazing product for the price. Thanks for sharing this brand with us!
Late but just discovered the channel. I. Love. This. Brand. I’m in the US so I did have to wait for shipping. I got the Vitamin C cleanser, Amil C Whip, the night cream, the rosehip oil, and the night licorice retinol serum. My skin has just been glowing. Night and day of a difference. The products last me 6 months so I don’t have to worry about buying something new every month. I’m obsessed!
Awww thank you so so much for watching hun and I am so so glad your trying face theory as they are totally amazing and they have changed my skincare routine so much... I am so glad your loving the products as much as me and sending you lots of love xxxx
Thank you so much for doing this review! I love Facetheory and most of their products are just amazing. Also the prices, helpful website, and their minimal plastic use is a huge plus. The clarifying cleanser definitely played a big part on clearing my hormonal acne, together with some poducts from The Ordinary. I also love the Vitamin C Whip, it's so delicious 😍 What didn't work for me was their Spf 25balm (too oily) and their Vitamin C Retinol serum (My skin started to break out, it was too strong for my skin though the product itself feels and smells amazing, it has lots of good reviews!). Also I'd like to add that my order always comes in few days (from UK to Germany) and contains no plastic! I believe they also offer a money back guarantee if the product doesn't work for you.
True!!! Less plastic products are what I am tending to use in this year. I think their dark-colour jars are so cute, and protect the products inside from the sun damages better
I had never heard of this brand until I watched your video. Now my skin care regimen consists mostly of Facetheory! I have placed four orders in three months and I love everything I’ve tried. I originally bought the clarifying cleanser because of your positive review and I love it. Thank you for introducing me to Facetheory.
Aww it is a total pleasure hun and I am so so glad your loving the brand.. I am always shocked so few have heard of this brand which is a shame as the products are amazing and I hope they explode in popularity in 2021 as they deserve it for sure xx
I found your channel because I was looking for reviews on facetheory (I have a few of their products already). I'm now binge watching your videos. I love your honesty about your preferences and the way you explain your rationale.
Yay! I’m so happy to see this review - wanted to test face theory for a while now, they just sound too good, and I have not seen any other reviews from my favorite beauty youtubers. Thank you ❤️
Recently discovered Facetheory and really enjoying their Porebright N10 Serum and the Supergel Moisturiser M3. I contacted their customer care team asking if they had any plans on releasing better/higher SPF products, as I too was disappointed by the low SPFs, and they said they are working on an SPF50 product but cannot release details at the moment.
My 24yr old daughter suffers adult acne (she took the evil Roacutane at one point ) but she swears by Porebright N10. Really like a lot of Face Theory products, plus they are eco friendly and offer unscented or lightly fragranced products. Great stuff!!
You are SO pleasant to watch and listen to! I’m so glad I found your channel! Perfect too that this is a review on FT, I’ve been eyeing their pore bright serum for a while now. And generally all their other products, ugh. They’re just GREAT. Looking forward to more content! Have a great day ☺️❤️
I tried Regenacalm and Porebright N10 and I loved both and then the poreclearing toner that I wasn't that sure about. I do think Facetheory is a dark horse in skincare yet to be discovered as they have what seems to be good formulation.
The Amil vitamin C whipped moisturiser has been on my wish list for weeks. Im putting a order in very soon. Thanks for review. Ive been doing a lot of research on vegan skincare, most are very exspensive, facetheory are affordable with good quality ingredients. Unscented versions available, which i prefer. Ps, i use the nivea Q10 and Argan oil face oil, its non greasy and leaves no residue. Its beautiful, its leaves your skin so soft and its ideal if you have acne prone skin. 👍
One of my absolute FAVES from facetheory is the freshening face wash - it’s great if you’re looking for a cleanser that is gentle and doesn’t have a lot of heavy actives! I also love that the majority of products from facetheory are sold in glass packaging, it shows they are environmentally conscious as well!
Thanks for mentioning this on your live chat. I am currently trying to work out what to try so this was beautifully perfect timing. Great review, many thanks. I was hovering over the buy button for ages for the pro cleanser - you have really helped my indecision lol. It's now in my basket!
I´m so happy I found you. Following American TH-camrs comes with seeing them review a bunch of products that are not sold on our side of the pond. By the way, I would love a review on Rudoplh Care, the Danish brand many rave about. Specifically their suncare line. It´s a "clean" skincare brand but they´ve chosen to use chemical filters, which can be great for us with dark skin but can also be a disaster.
Hey hun, I agree its so annoying when you watch someone and love what they use and realise its not avaliable here in Europe. I havent actually tried the Rudolph care but I have heard people say they are good so I am thinking about popping some on order to try and the sun care will certainly be one of the products I try xx
@@MadAboutSkin You're absolutely fantastic! Looking forward to your review on the brand. I believe we have as good skincare products in Europe but we forget about them when we constantly hear about how great this one or this other products are from American personalities.
A couple of weeks ago you mentioned you had their face masks on order (Pink clay AHA and Green Tea). I mentioned I'd let you know when I tried them. In short, they are fantastic. They dry nicely, not crackly and dry. They rinse right off and are very refreshing. I'd say they are exceptionally suited to oily skin, but still fine for dry/combo.
Diana this is literally the perfect timing and thank you so so much for letting me know your thoughts.. mine came at the weekend and I have them on the side ready to try which I am super excited about so I think I am going to use the pink clay one tonight so will let you know what I think xxx
Love facetheory so far, however only tried 2 serums. But definitely feel like i will be buying more as have been using the 2 for a few months now and really happy. I lovvvvve the Porebright serum.
Oh I have tried the N10 and its an instant holy grail for sure, such a good product.. I am planning a part 2 to this video to feature some of the other products of theirs which I have been trying but didnt mention xx
I love this! I would like to hear about all of the products that you like from this brand. I would rather watch a longer video in order to get information on all of the products that you have an opinion on. Thank you for your efforts and your honesty. I appreciate it very much.
Hey hun thank you so so much for your feedback and such a lovely comment.. A lot of people in the comments seem to be saying they would like more information on the other products so I a will plan a video which covers all the products I missed from this one xx
I, unfortunately, had a rather bad experience with facetheory products, but I have to add that I tried the scented versions of the Amil-C Whip Cream and the Relaxing Night Cream. At the time, I didn't know how aggressive the fragrance would be. When I used the products, my skin started peeling off my face, leaving me with two symmetric exposed wounds on both sides of my face. It was awful. I believe the fragrance in combination with the active ingredients was just too much for my skin. But I'm too scared now to try the unscented versions. 😂
Just placed my first order...for the Polypep serum, and I can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks for the brand review. I'm hoping to become a big fan as well.
@@MadAboutSkin Hi, I have been using the Polypep serum for about a month now and I absolutely love it! A couple of weeks ago I also started using the Balancing Rosehip oil as my daily facial oil. I love the droppers that help you not use too much product (as I usually do). My skin loves this line and I notice that my pores are definitely smaller already. I'll be checking out their deep cleansers next. Thanks again for the great review!! xxx
Hey! I really waited for this video! I was really eyeing the azelaic acid serum because the redness and flushing I sometimes experience, so I am really happy that it got your approval :3 And by the way their shipping in the EU is really fast. I ordered my products on a friday afternoon and I got my products on next wednesday (from UK to Hungary). Usually I order from Korea so I am not used to this fast shipping :D I ordered the CeraQuench Renewal cream from them which has ceramides, Q10 and retinyl palmitate, and I am really enjoying it with my dry skin. Thank you for the interesting video!
Thank you, this video helped me decide what to purchase. I've tried some of their products and some have been fabulous and others not so much, but decided to give it another go as I love the ingredients they use. Really looking forward to trying some of new products I've purchased based on your recommendations, specially the Amil C-Wip. :)
I was just thinking about you and waiting for your upload 🙊 hope your having a good day and to anyone reading this hope your having a good day too ♥️ xx
@@MadAboutSkin I truly believe all the lovely comments are reflection of your own spirit! Your opinions come always from a respectful place, no shade or bad energies!! Very hard to find nowadays!! Wish all the success in all your projects, we will support you along the way!🌹💞
I got their oily skin set based on their recommendation and I love the cleanser (they accidentally sent me scented though..) and I love the clarifying cleanser and the porebright serum. The combo of the azaleic acid, niacinimide and BHA in the serum is amazing. The oil free gel moisturizer is fine, but I kind of wish I bought everything separate and got the Amil-C whip but was worried to be using too much niacinamide (is that a thing) The gel is nice under foundation though, and good for the sticky Boston summer while we still have summer left! I don't think the SPF version is available in the US :/. I Also got the scar oil based on their recommendation (vit e, c, and retinol). I haven't used that yet, and I'm a bit nervous to. I'd love to hear your opinion on it. I also got the pink AHA mask, and haven't tried that yet either. I'm bummed I can't get their higher Azaleic acid serum here in the US since we can't have over 10% and it's 15%
I recently purchased two different moisturizers from FT. First, I love the idea of having scented and I scented versions - more companies need to do this! It creates such an inclusive experience. Another thing I like is how they list their ingredients; they have a description or function of each ingredient in parenthesis next to each ingredient. Also, they have great customer service! One of my jars came unsealed and looked like the oils had separated. One email later, they sent me a replacement free of charge! I’m loving the night cream (unscented) for my dry skin. I also purchased their Regina-C and don’t love it as much as the night cream, but it is very nourishing. I will continue to use both until I run out. I’m excited to try some of their serums once I run out of the ones I am currently using. Great review!
Hey hun thank you so much for watching and thank you for sharing your experiences, its really good to know, especially about the customer service as I think that is such an important part of understanding whether a brand is good or not.. I have been so so impressed with them so far and I cant wait to try more of their products xx
I love how this brand is not only vegan and cruelty free but they also offer scented and unscented versions of most of their products?! And pregnancy safe skincare?! Yes!! Love the inclusivity so much. Most skincare companies don't consider pregnant women and, as a mother, I appreciate that so much. Not to mention the price point of this entire brand is very reasonable and essentially drugstore prices but higher end products. Gorgeous skincare line. I mean....it doesn't get much better than that!! Thanks for the fantastic review, Rob. Sending love from Texas!
I actually love the texture of the ordinary azelaic acid😍 I find that it helps keep my oil in my t-zone down and smooths out my skin almost like a makeup primer. P.s I just recently found your channel and already love it, great content and thank you for helping use along our skincare journey!💛
I struggle with something called fungal acne (I know sounds gross) but it’s basically when my pours sit underneath my skin which makes my skin bumpy. I started using the Clarifying Cleanser along with the Oil-free gel moisturiser, and it’s worked wonders! I’ll never ever stop using it! It’s the only cleanser that actually works for me!
Thank you so so much for sharing and this is so so useful as I know a lot of people who have fungal acne too so I will share this with them... sending you lots of love ... p.s Facetheory gave me a discount code to share with people which is MADABOUTSKIN25 which will get you 25% off everything online for when you pop through your next purchase... sending you lots of love xxxx
YAY been looking for a review on Face Theory. Thanks so much for the review! 2 days ago I purchased the Signature Moisturiser M1 and the Regens-C Moisturiser M4 Pro with 3% retinol. The M4 Pro is also a day moisturiser but Im going to try the M1 in the morning and M4 in the evening. Cant wait for them to arrive and try! Then place some of your recommendations in my next order! TY!
Love the Lipade q10 oil! It's rich for sure, so I mainly use it during the cold Swedish winters, but it can be used around the eyes and on the eyelids all year 'round as an antioxidant and extra hydrator for the thin skin. It sinks it surprisingly well and does not break me out at all!
Glad there is finally a review of this. I wanted to try it way back but couldn't find any sources. I went for the ordinary instead but I absolutely hate the tubes! Going to try this now!
Hi! Super interesting video! I just started using their Vitamin C cleanser and I'm enjoying it, but I have to try it more. I didn't understand their SPFs too, also cause one of them is a "balm". It makes me sweat just thinking about that 😅
Haha I know what you mean, I dont think the balm will be the one for me and they need to have them bumped up to SPF30 and then I will give them a second look.. I would love to know what you think of the vit c cleanser once you have used it a little longer, make sure you let me know what you think xx
The sun screen balm is awful. It just sat on my skin and felt really greasy. Nowhere near as good as some of their other products. I love all of my other products from them I have 5 other products I use daily but I’m never touching the sunscreen again.
I've been using FT for a while now N10, Vit C cleanser and Regina C moisturiser. I didn't realise their affect until whilst in a takeaway approached by a stranger, who complimented my skin and asked what I was using. Also very generous in terms of sizes so last aged.
Hey hun thank you so much for watching and thank you so much for sharing your experiences and I love love love when you get one of those stranger compliments it means the products must be working.. I have been loving my skin since I started the cleanser its been a try revelation xxx
First time I.completely disagree with you completely!! I have been using Facetheory scrub and mask, and it possibly my skincare product for life. Its scrub element is so gentle that you feel it is not enough to buff away dead skin cells (they are made of jojoba so no nasty residue in our seas). Sometimes I rinse off immediately, other times I leave it on 10mins as a face mask. Either way, my face is left smooth as silk and soft as a cashmere jumper. Just love it!! Has teplaced the rough scrubs I used to ❤ .....xx
Yay I am so so glad you love it and honestly its won me around in the 2 years since I filmed this video.. I think if its used correctly it could be a great product for sure.. Hope all is amazing with you and thank you so so much for sharing.. love you xxxxxxx
Just found out about this brand! Thank you so much for this video 🤩 Can you use the Amil C-Whip together with the clarifying cleanser c2 pro? I’m sorry I couldn’t quite get what you said about the vitamin c because my english isn’t that good..
I love your enthusiasm in every single video!! Came across Face Theory because I was looking for a 2% salicylic acid serum (ordinary & inkeylist have been out of stock for ages and Drunk Elephant TLC is wayyyy to expensive in Australia) ordered their BHA S3 (their new S3 pro is already out of stock!) After watching your video, also added to cart your beloved Amil C Whip M5. Excited about this new brand, any chance you've tried their pure Tamanu oil because I have loved using Krave's Great Barrier Relief. Thanks Rob!
Love the review, thank you! I'm waiting for the Retinol serum to come in the mail and I'm so excited. I think I will buy the glycolic acid body cream for my KP now!
Hey hun thank you so much for watching and I am so glad you enjoyed the video.. You will have to let me know what you think of the retinol as I havent been able to try it yet xx
It's good to have such a series of skincare products like the ordinary, the facetheory, etc. But I simplify everything, I just use one antioxidant, which is Vitamin A aka Tretinoin. I exfoliate regularly by doing DIY chemical peelings with Glycolic and Lactic acid solution (I do it carefully). To compensate the dryness that tretinoin and Aha cause, I use moisturizers that contain glycerin, mineral oil, and silicone. I rarely use niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid. My skin is pretty much OK. I think it's because my skin is very oily, so using harsh ingredients like tretinoin and AHAs is still tolerable. So, the point is to listen to your skin.
Hello mad about skin! Your video was brilliant thanks so much! Your review has sent me straight to face theory and I have now spent money! They look amazing so I am so happy to have found them. Thank you for a brilliant review. Xx
Great video. Been looking forward to this one. I don't understand everyone's hype for the Clarifying Cleanser though. I used it and it burned my eyes really bad. (I used the fragrance free option so that can't be it). I get that that's probably a personal problem but it also didn't really do...anything.. my face was still dirty even after using it for 3 times in a row.
I am about to purchase some of their products and because I don't really struggle with any skin issues and facetheory have so many options, your video saved me!! I'm definitely purchasing the products from your top 5! Brilliant brilliant video!! 😍
Aww I am so so glad the video was helpful for you hun.. I can't wait to hear what you think of the products when they arrive so make sure you let me know what you think :).. sending lots of love xxx
@@MadAboutSkin I ordered the brightening set purely because of the amil c whip that you recommended. What do you think about rhe rest of the products from the set? My skin is quite oily too 😊
Great review! Although I had a question about the Porebright serum. You said that it had a 10% concentration of Azelaic acid like TO and Paula’s Choice, but when I emailed FaceTheory awhile back about the concentration they quoted a much lower percentage (I can’t remember if it was 0.3% or 3%. Unfortunately I deleted the email). Did they happen to change the percentage? Because that was the only thing keeping me from buying the serum
I've looked at the website and it seems the "10" comes from the fact it has 10% niacinamide. They don't state the % of anything else, but if you want a stronger azelaic acid, they reccomend the 15% serum of azelaic acid. Though they do have this "It is formulated with 10% niacinamide and azeliac acid." Because of the sentence structuring, you might think the 10% carries over to the azeliac acid on the first read. So they need to make that more clear. So you're most probably correct that the 10% has nothing to do with azeliac acid. Probably a mispoke and meant to say Niacinamide.
sexydoorframes Ah, I see. That definitely makes sense. They should really word that better, although I have a feeling they worded it that way on purpose to make it seem like you’re getting more than you really are. Thanks for checking that! Also, I don’t know if you’re curious about it, but I did find the email from Face Theory and apparently it’s only a 0.1% concentration. So a little bit less than what I said in my original commment
Thank you!! Finally someone did the review 🙂 I have nearly finished my N10 and a pink clay mask (beautiful), azelaic acid and teatree mask are coming in the mail 😊 Now the cleanser and whip moisturiser are on my wish list 😀
I'm not familiar with this brand here in the US but I'm intrigued. I'm maxed out on products at the moment but it's nice to see some innovative formulations coming on to the market.
Hi Kevin, I agree this is one of those brands which people may want to plan on trying in the future, I am like you and totally overwhelmed with product so I will be selective with what I include from them permanently but I think the niacinamide and vit c whipped cream is a good option particularly for people like us who like to use peptides and need a vit c derivative to use alongside them xx
@@MadAboutSkin Yes for sure--I find it interesting to have a vitamin C in a moisturizer. However, I'm pretty hooked on my current moisturizers--I use The Ordinary Moisturizing Factors + HA but also right now I'm quite into the Dear, Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream. But something to keep in mind for the future!
Tbh I love the pore-reducing toner, I knew going into it that it probably wouldn’t do what it promised but I couldn’t say no to a fragrance-free toner with niacinamide (5%!), vit C and lactic acid. The product I ended up hating was the supergel moisturiser, it has the consistency of baby food because it’s oil and silicone free. I’m currently trying the azelaic acid 15% serum, unfortunately I’ve ended up having to pour it into my hand because the dropper doesn’t work!
Hey hun, I agree its a nice toner and if you have the right expectations then its a good product to use.. I havent been able to try the supergel but a lot of people have said the same so I dont think I will bother. With the dropper have you contacted FaceTheory as one of their products came to me damaged and they replaced it free of charge in 2 days xx
Yea I got the gel moisturizer, and it's my least favorite too. It's not baby food ish.. but it's just like boring aloeish. It does work well under my makeup. But I'll certainly be switching to the amil-c whip
Great review I was using face theory a few years ago when it was a complete unknown , its good to revisit I've been using beauypie since I will go back and give it another try now
What facial SPF do you recommend for acne prone sensitive skin? I always find SPF above 30 clogs my pores giving me blackheads and blockages so I'm usually quite attracted to products with SPF 20. Would love to hear your thoughts that don't break the bank.
this is the video i've been needing. i've been on the fence about facetheory. i was about to buy some stuff but like before i paid for it i kind of left my cart as it is. but then they texted me! WTF i was so freaked out that they used my phone number like that before i even bought anything so i've been putting off buying any of their stuff. but i keep hearing good things about them. so thanks for this video.
This company deletes any negative comment from their social media and lives on publicity. There is no control on shipments, the products can be highly irritating and they do not follow any safe production standards. The customer support is absolutely unprofessional. I really do not recommend the company and the products, be careful.
Hey hun thank you so much for watching.. They ship across the globe which is great and at resonable shipping prices. I have more of their products on order to I will certainly be following this with a review of more of their products so watch this space xx
I've been seeing this brand everywhere and everytime I see a brand being over promoted I always think it's gimmicky? Like glamglow or something just products that are over-hyped. My bad because I definitely want to try these products out now! After seeing this and the review's I'm now mad I didn't know about it sooner. And the fact it's a uk based brand. We usually always get the good stuff last.
Hey hun thank you so so much for watching and they are a great brand but i am like you and always avoid the ones which seem to be everywhere but this one is different and worth a look for sure... sending you lots of love xxxx
Aww thank you so so much hun I am so glad you found the channel useful and I hope you enjoy all the face theory products if you do give them a try... Sending lots of love xx
Hi there, I bought the C2 cleanser to replace a much softer cleanser I was originally using. I was just wondering what times you would recommend using this cleanser eg. morning and night, just night etc. At the moment the cleanser I am using is being used morning and night. Thanks!, great honest video :).
Do you think it would be okay to use amil c whip moisturizer with the n10 serum since its niacinamide and vit c ? Anyway loovee ur review, there’s rarely any youtube reviews anout this brand but i think they hve great formulations
Hey Tom I hope all is good with you.. Great question and I think if you apply the cleanser and then leave it on for 60 seconds before washing off then you would not need to use the toner as the exfoliation would be the same which is one of the reasons I think I could get hooked on this product xx
Mad About Skin thanks Rob! All is well here... just working away (trapped here at home! LOL). Hope all is well with you as well. I’m going to finish up the cleansers I’m using right now (inkey list balm, inkey list SA cleanser, and sometimes LRP toleraine) and then give this a try (especially if it’s a dupe for Niod)
I just discovered your channel! Thank you for all the valuable information on face theory ❤️ I ordered some of their products a few days ago and just got curious about other opinions 😊 you got a new regular now 😂
Awww thank you so so much hun and i am so glad you are trying Face Theory as I love so many of their products... I cant wait to hear what you think of them... sending you lots of love xxxx
I'm going to admit, I'm in my mid 30s and never really put anything on my face apart from Boots moisturiser :(. I need to do more. Question, do you normally apply SPF product on a daily basis? There isn't much sun here in the UK so I always thought it's not needed xxx
Lol i’m in the same boat but apparently we should be using an spf everyday. I just bought the laroche posay anthelios ultra light spf which is supposed to be good
facetheory make great acid products. my favourites are clarifying cleanser and gycomide. i also like it's vitamin c cleanser, i do find it brightening. i however doesn't like the freshening cleanser as it dries out my skin. really wanted to try the amil-c whip one.
Hey hun thank you so much for watching and I hope everything is good with you... I totally agree their acids are the stand out products, I have been so impressed with them.. I do really want to try the vit c cleanser, especially as you have said you see a noticeable brightening which is hard to get from a cleanser.. I would certainly recommend the Amil its such a gorgeous moisturiser xx
@@MadAboutSkin very very welcome. your videos are amazing :-) thank you for all the recommendations. i particularly like the brand reviews, very helpful in choosing the great ones. oh sometimes i add vitamin c powder into my clarifying cleanser also, it's great. and i use vitamin c powder from making cosmetics, it's very ultra-fine and doesn't clump. and i know how much you like your vitamin c powder :-) xoxo
i finally tried amil c whip. it reminds me of advanced clinicals vitamin c serum. the one with LAA, THC, tocopherol & ferulic acid. they both brightening and have same texture and yellow colour. i prefer the advanced clinical one as it is a lot cheaper - 11 Euros for 450g and it comes in a big pump bottle. and can always add Niacinamide powder into the cream before using :-)
I discovered the brand last year and have been a fan ever since but it was about time somebody made a review video! 😅 Thus, a big thank you for the review and pointing towards some new to me products from the line! 👏 I have been thinking to try their retinol serums since I'm running out of the Inkey List and it's sold out currently. Any thoughts on those? 🤔 The Porebright serum is my GO TO niacinamide 🙌 and I have to say it is not 10% azelaic acid (that isn't specified) but it is 10% niacinamide. Also, it's suspended in propanediol so it's not creamy at all! But I love it and it's much better than TO for my skin at least 😇 (I've got combo skin with dryness prone cheeks, lines on my forehead and hormonal breakouts mainly during "that time of the month"). I've been using M4 in the evenings, especially on retinol nights to offset dryness and it has worked perfectly so far. However, I will probably try the M5 based on your recommendation 😉 I also have the Mandelibright serum S7 which I tend to use about 3 times a week for gentle exfoliation. I have the C2 (not pro) which I usually use as morning cleanser but I was always wondering if that isn't too much exfoliation when used daily as my skin goes a bit too glowy... now I'm trying to use it every second day to see if that would make a difference. I've tried the Supergel M3 and it was OK for my oily T-zone but now I've got the iUnik Centella calming gel as daytime moisturiser and I have to say it works better 🤐 Overall, I believe the brand deserves more attention as there are some definite 💯 products!
Hey hun I am totally with you, this brand needs way more attention than they get, I have been so impressed with their products.. Unfortunalty I have only just been able to order their retinols so I havent actually been able to try them but I will be doing a seperate review when I have them xx
@@MadAboutSkin I'll be waiting for that review before I order those then 😉 I think Hyram mentioned an upcoming review of FT as well 🤔 I'm curious if your opinions would be similar 🤓
Hi!!! Found your channel by searching for reviews about Face theory and I can’t stop watching more! Thinking to start using the Clarifying Cleanser C2 Pro, do you recommend using it twice a day? I have seen some reviews saying it can leave skin quite sensitive ?! Thank you !
Awww thank you so so much for your support hun and I would use it once a day as I do find it can be little sensitising if you use it twice as its a strong exfoliator too ... sending you lots of love xxxx
Awww thank you so so much hun thats so kind of you to say... I haven't heard of them but I need to go check them out for sure so I will put them on the list of brands to review... sending you lots of love xxxx
what do you think about revox skincare? I just saw it, that it comes from bulgaria, and it looks like an kind of Ordinary / PC Dupe. Did u hear of it? Its extremly cheap (even cheaper than the ordinary) and it looks like they have a short ingredient list and almost very clean?
I have amil C-Whip too ! Light for my combination and sensitive skin. I take it scented and its fantastic. Very good product and i love this brand (i have regenacalm pro serum, mandelbright serum, this cream and night relaxing cream. ) I used vitamin C cleanser and it dried my skin around my eyes 😔
Hey hun thank you so much for watching and sharing your experiences.. I totally agree with you the amil whip is amaxing and I love so many of their products as they are so innovative which is nice to see in skincare xx
Can I still use my lactic acid when I use the clarifying cleanser C2 pro? Should I alternate and not use the cleanser daily or change to the regular one? Can I still use niaciamide and vit c when I use the amil c whip or is it completely unnecessary? It's all too much 🤯🥲
Hi Rob, I've just found this video and your channel. It's been about half a year since you've uploaded this video so I suppose you have tried other products from facetheory too. And my question is what serum and moisteriser would you recommend for a woman in her early 50's with normal skin and a few wrinkles? I would also like to ask you about the Amil C whip whether it is sticky/oily? Or does it sink in nicely without leaving a greasy residue?
I'm on my second jar of C2 Cleanser Pro, I absolutely frigging love it. I use it like a mask sometimes as well for when I'm in need of a bit more of a thorough attack on my skin. I don't mind the SPF Sunfragma Melting Balm, but I only use it for my tattoos, never for my face, it's far too greasy-feeling, yuck. The face and body scrub used to have walnut pieces in it! That was actually my first ever Facetheory purchase and oh lord no, what was I thinking haha. The unscented version smelled like paint as well. Bleh.
Would you use the ordinery nicinamide before the amai c-whip (or whatever it was called) or would it be too much? I want to buy day and night cream from this company so I came here to check if it’s any good 😅 unfortunately you didn’t talk about the night cream I am thinking about but will probably give it a shot anyway :)
Has anyone from Canada ordered from them before? Just wondering about custom charges. I want to try everything from your top picks lol. Having a fragrance and fragrance free option is genius! Wish more companies would adopt this as well.
Hey hun, I dont know about the Canadian import fees though I do know they will send to Canada for a small amount of shipping.. I totally agree with you on the fragrance, I would love to see more companies do this as it will leave it up to the consumer to choose whether they want fragrance or not which creates a more inclusive experience xx
hey hun thank you so so much for watching and I have never tried it but I just checked the ingredients and it looks fantastic so I have put one on order.. I will let you know what I think xx
So excited to try this brand! Going to buy the cleanser right now so I can replace my Cerave SA cleanser. Also, question about coconut derivatives...I know that coconut oil is comedogenic, but I have seen some products with coconut water in them..is that also comedogenic? Thanks!
Hey hun I hope all is amazing with you? You will love the cleanser its so so so good.. Thats an amazing question and no its not.. Coconut water is fine its the oils which are the problem for people with breakout prone skin xx
Love the products so far, I also love that they use glass jars and bottles.
Isn’t it so good. I might have just “accidentally” placed an order for their green tea mask and the whipped moisturiser. I can’t wait to try them 😆x
I just got it today, hopefully, it can help my acne breakout 😭
I just bought them both 😄 Will try and use them the same way you’ve found works well!
Oh I will have a look at the Mandelobright serum, sounds interesting for my skin! Thank you!!🥰
Hey hun thank you so so so much for sharing your experiences...
@@MadAboutSkin Yay! I love you both Sherri & Rob and sub to you both! :) SO cool that you interact on TY. Thanks for the amazing content guys!! xoxo
I'm also in love with the super geo moisturizer and also the regeneracalm 2% retinol with vitaminc. It's amazing, super gentle.

Thank you ❤️
Aww thank you so so much hun and I am so glad you enjoyed the video.. Let me know if you try any of the products and what you think xx
Have a great day ☺️❤️
Aww thank you so so much thats so lovely of you to say and thank you for supporting the channel xx
Hey hun thanks so much for watching and i havent tried the Q10 with argan oil but i will do now you have recommended so thank you xx
OOO i'm going to have to get that wash next! i'd like to alternate with the more heavy active ones! :)
You have a lovely presence on youtube videos, carry on!
Is it strange that I am coming back to your old videos for reviews as you are amongst the few youtubers that I completely and uterly trust haha
the aha/bha cleanser is very good for oily acne prone skin it helps keep my breakouts under control would reccomend to people with skin like mine
Aww thank you so so much for commenting and sharing your thoughts on it, this will be really useful for a lot of people.. Sending lots of love xx

Mad About Skin, thank you for this Ding, ding, ding time!!! I always enjoy it!🥰
HAHA thank you so much hun, I hope everything is amazing with you xx
Just placed my first order...for the Polypep serum, and I can't wait for it to arrive. Thanks for the brand review. I'm hoping to become a big fan as well.
Oh i am sure you will love it hun.. Will you let me know what you think when the products arrive and you have tried them? Xx

I was really eyeing the azelaic acid serum because the redness and flushing I sometimes experience, so I am really happy that it got your approval :3
And by the way their shipping in the EU is really fast. I ordered my products on a friday afternoon and I got my products on next wednesday (from UK to Hungary). Usually I order from Korea so I am not used to this fast shipping :D
I ordered the CeraQuench Renewal cream from them which has ceramides, Q10 and retinyl palmitate, and I am really enjoying it with my dry skin. Thank you for the interesting video!
They've started doing the amil c whip as an spf 30. Been using it for the last week and i love it

I'm in love with Facetheory. I have sooo many products from them xx

And to top it all off most of their products have glass packaging.
I actually love the texture of the ordinary azelaic acid😍 I find that it helps keep my oil in my t-zone down and smooths out my skin almost like a makeup primer.

Going to try this now!
its a total pleasure hun and I am so so glad the video was useful.. sending you so so much love xxxxx
Great review thanks! Have been using face theory for almost 2 years now love it!

@@MadAboutSkin I will!!
I‘m sooo glad I found your channel!❤️
I love their products and brand ethics , they're my go to skincare brand 🙌
I will be trying the moisturiser and the cleanser. Great review thank you x

U have to remove ut make up first and not use it around ur eyes as the skin there is thin and sensitive.
Love this brand!! Another fantastic brand that I would love your thoughts on is Ghost Democracy!

Thank you!! Finally someone did the review 🙂 I have nearly finished my N10 and a pink clay mask (beautiful), azelaic acid and teatree mask are coming in the mail 😊
Now the cleanser and whip moisturiser are on my wish list 😀

@@molliemaxwell9617 how was the whip?
Ding ding ding, these products look amazing, i am tempted to try the glycolic body cream for my legs xx
Hey hun I hope everything is well with you.. Thank you so much for watching xx
I'm super late but have you managed to find anything for acne prone skin?
I actually love the Cera-C, It has helped my skin so much, I think it depends on the skin type :)
Oh amazing hun i am so glad it works for you.. Sending so much love xxxx
this is the video i've been needing. i've been on the fence about facetheory. i was about to buy some stuff but like before i paid for it i kind of left my cart as it is. but then they texted me! WTF i was so freaked out that they used my phone number like that before i even bought anything so i've been putting off buying any of their stuff. but i keep hearing good things about them. so thanks for this video.
You can use code BBFACET for 25% off facetheory by the end of tomorrow 😍
Yes!! Their Lipade oil booster serum is my holy grail!! No one ever talks about it. It god rid of my eczema on my face which I had for 5 years.
This was so so helpful, thank you!!!! ordering some products right now :))))

This company deletes any negative comment from their social media and lives on publicity. There is no control on shipments, the products can be highly irritating and they do not follow any safe production standards. The customer support is absolutely unprofessional. I really do not recommend the company and the products, be careful.
Would LOVE to see a full brand review!! Also does it ship to other countries than the UK?
This is been a help. As I am in search for good product here i Uk ( new here)... have seen few in your TOP 5 and def.I will try them after Y video😊

You have me curious about the clarifying cleanser pro... would I have to give up my the ordinary glycolic toner if I use this cleanser?
What product would you recommend for hyperpigmentation for black skin tones?
No comments still
I just discovered your channel!
Thus, a big thank you for the review and pointing towards some new to me products from the line! 👏 I have been thinking to try their retinol serums since I'm running out of the Inkey List and it's sold out currently. Any thoughts on those? 🤔
The Porebright serum is my GO TO niacinamide 🙌 and I have to say it is not 10% azelaic acid (that isn't specified) but it is 10% niacinamide.
However, I will probably try the M5 based on your recommendation 😉
I also have the Mandelibright serum S7 which I tend to use about 3 times a week for gentle exfoliation.
I have the C2 (not pro) which I usually use as morning cleanser but I was always wondering if that isn't too much exfoliation when used daily as my skin goes a bit too glowy... now I'm trying to use it every second day to see if that would make a difference.
I've tried the Supergel M3 and it was OK for my oily T-zone but now I've got the iUnik Centella calming gel as daytime moisturiser and I have to say it works better 🤐
Overall, I believe the brand deserves more attention as there are some definite 💯 products!
Hey hun I am totally with you, this brand needs way more attention than they get, I have been so impressed with their products..
Unfortunalty I have only just been able to order their retinols so I havent actually been able to try them but I will be doing a seperate review when I have them xx
@@MadAboutSkin I'll be waiting for that review before I order those then 😉
I think Hyram mentioned an upcoming review of FT as well 🤔 I'm curious if your opinions would be similar 🤓
Hi, thank you for your informative content. Do you cover hair care products for acne prone skin?
I found the amil c with SPF just made me super SHINY was very disappointed
I totally agree hun the one without the SPF is so much better and then I just add my favourite SPF on that.. thanks for watching xx
Thanks for this, also your accent is amazing!! Was wondering if you have heard about Wildmint cosmetics and what you think of the products?
Very good product and i love this brand (i have regenacalm pro serum, mandelbright serum, this cream and night relaxing cream. )
I used vitamin C cleanser and it dried my skin around my eyes 😔
Hey hun thank you so much for watching and sharing your experiences.. I totally agree with you the amil whip is amaxing and I love so many of their products as they are so innovative which is nice to see in skincare xx
They do an unscented version of this
Can I still use my lactic acid when I use the clarifying cleanser C2 pro? Should I alternate and not use the cleanser daily or change to the regular one? Can I still use niaciamide and vit c when I use the amil c whip or is it completely unnecessary? It's all too much 🤯🥲
Hi hun, I love both of those products but I would alternate them so you dont overdo the exfoliation.. sending you lots of love xxxx
Hi Rob,
I've just found this video and your channel.
Thanks for this video! Very helpful 😉
Aww thank you so so much hun and I am so glad you found the video useful xx
I’ve ordered from them a few times and was never charged customs. All my orders were under £55
pebblebottom88 awesome! Thank you 👍
@@tina_smt No problem!
pebblebottom88 Thanks! I’m going to place an order now 😊👍🤗
What do you think about the EXAGLOW SERUM S10
with Tranexamic Acid, Vitamin C and Liquorice for hyperpigmentation? thank you
hey hun thank you so so much for watching and I have never tried it but I just checked the ingredients and it looks fantastic so I have put one on order.. I will let you know what I think xx
How's it going?
@@MadAboutSkin hey, any updates on this serum?
Amazing review, thank you 😊!!
Its a total pleasure hun and hope your having a great week xx
They have now upped the AML c whip to spf 30 so would be great to hear you try that now
So excited to try this brand!
