I loved how happy and amused the airhorn startling Matt made Tony feel. I think it reminded him of when he used to do it to Lisa and it genuinely made him happy even if only for a short time. Really was awesome to see ❤️

A third is funny, two thirds are boring and depressing. Have your fast forward button available. It’s sad he wants to try to do serious stuff. Derek was worse.
I re-watched this again the other day, and I hate to say it, it's Ricky's weakest work. The jokes are recycled from the podcast days, and then pretty much squandered. The music choices aswell are so cliché to what's actually happening in the show its laughable. Derek is almost very similar. Ricky needs a co-writer like Merchant to stop him making really shit decisions.
Directed by Gervais, you realize there’s almost no action in this show. Everyone talks as if they’re doing a comedy routine or shooting out one liners, usually standing or sitting. Quite uncomfortable.
I actually agree, this series was a boring mess, but the scenes work on their own imo.

Thought this series was awful and I loved the first two. Seemed to lack a proper plot and was just a collection of scenes that Gervais finds funny. The Ratty & The Nonce parts in this series were so bad it was hard to watch.
@@MattWilliams482 my thoughts exactly, it just felt like a Mish mash of things. A niche example but there was a scene where Tony sneaks up on Matt with an airhorn when he's stacking shelves. It just reminds me of those early videos of him pranking Karl Pilkington.
