The demonstration is profoundly beautiful and memorable. A most touching philosophy expressed by the Father Master Suzuki and the other artists in the choice of words, gestures, art and noble Tree. With appreciation.
Very beautiful and creative. The pot suits and compliments the tree as though they have been together a long time. Thank you for the demo was fascinating to watch each stage of the tree progression. The presentation at the end magical.
Hiraoki San it is a beautiful transformation by you and your team. Also display by Shinzi San with thoughts for looking forward to a brighter future🙏🙏🙏
This is the first time I have seen sandblasting on a bonsai tree and I am impressed. The way the dead wood is cleaned, but yet there are a lot of cracks in it to add to the appearance of age to the tree.
love this "kengai" style from the beginning, and also love Japanese culture, even for a "plant" for most people but it is an expression of art how you match from the table until the finish product no words can describe, i just love all of it, thank you for sharing a beautiful art, arigato gozaimasu
There seems to remain one important question to me: did the tree survive and will you kindly show it again? I would be very plerased to see it one or two years later. Thank You for showing that work.
Thank you, your team and your father for this beautiful video. Special thanks for the Tokonama, full of good emotions and wishes. Domo arigato gozaimasu
Absolutely amazing video of the creation of a very unique and natural-looking specimen Bonsai! Thank you for sharing this...it brought a big smile on my face in very difficult times! 🙏👏👍 Cheers, and stay safe everybody! Hans van Meer. Karamotto Bonsai.
Wonderful presentation by Team Suzuki and Shinji San... However...???... I have never heard or read this term "Yamadori" ever used by a Japanese person (not even in this video) to describe “wild bonsai,” (aka: 野生の盆栽 "wild bonsai") This seems to be some made up name that Westerns use. This Slang term Yamadori (actually mean a mountain and/or golden pheasant) seems to only be found in Western Bonsai circles. I’ve never (since the 60’s) heard or read a Chinese (水旱盆景) or Japanese practitioners of the craft ever use this term spoken or in literature. Can you cite a source in Japanese practice, video or literature that uses this term “yamadori” in their practice of Bonsai? I've heard (such as this video) them use the species name and/or style name but never "yamadori?" Thank you in advance...
Excellent demonstration and styling and like after and son, both of you is an inspiration to all bonsaist. Roy Y. From Honolulu, Hawaii
At first I was like sand blasting?? Whoa but man, finished product is pretty stunning. Can only imagine in person.
The demonstration is profoundly beautiful and memorable. A most touching philosophy expressed by the Father Master Suzuki and the other artists in the choice of words, gestures, art and noble Tree. With appreciation.
Un grand merci à vous pour ce moment de beauté, de calme et de paix!
