I haven’t played madden in yearssss 5 or so atp and lost most advanced knowledge of football basically because I hardly pay attention to it now. But I had a resurgence in my interest for it and this video brought me back to my middle school / early hs memories when I lived and breathed these kind of tips and overall knowledge of defensive/offensive schemes. Thanks for the good content and videos I’ve been running through a few and about to test out some of the tips you mentioned.
Awesome man! Glad you enjoyed the video! I’m currently making an updated version of this video for Madden 25! It should be out in the next 7-14 days. I think it’ll be even better than this one without a doubt! If u ever have any questions. Lmk
Thanks homie! And no doubt. Once players start understanding what the defense is doing and what route combos can beat each defense, Madden becomes a lot easier. It’s easier said than done but with enough reps it becomes LIGHTS OUT.
You’re fkn brilliant my man! I’ve been playing a bunch for about a month and having a good amount of success, but I’m failing in all the areas you mentioned. Your breakdowns are super technical and insightful, but also understandable. Thank you!
Good information, I played a guy that was in base aligned dollar man defense all game, it took me a long time to figure out what he was doing smh unbelievable..
Base align is tough especially when the defense is in man. Many times when that happens though, you’ll be able to take advantage of the defenses bad leverage since they aren’t lined up right over their assigned man defense. Were u able to get the dub?
No dumb questions here. A fade will have an outside release. Meaning the wide receiver will run more towards the outside on his route. A streak runs completely straight. If u hot route into a fade, you will see on the play art that the fade goes to the outside at the start of the route. And if u hot route to a streak it’s just completely straight. Lemme know if this helps
Some of of the best playbooks to run include: the eagles, colts, spread, chiefs, packers, bears, and bengals. I may be missing a few but those are some of the elite playbooks
In the video I briefly went over that if they’re base aligned u can’t read the defensive coverage but majority of the time if your opponents are base aligned they are in some sort of zone defense. Just can’t be sure of what zone until your post snap reads
It does but I would recommend not using it. It shows what your opponent is running and if u wanna really get better at the game I would say to try and read the defense without Omaha
best way to win a game is make sure your opponent has the lead so ea can come to your aid..

Good drop brother! People get set on running the same plays and stare at their recievers rather than always reading what the defense is actually doing

What technique are you using to blue?
I am in a franchise and have Jamar Chase Kyle Pitts Drake London and Justin Fielsa and struggle to put up points. I know why now.
Dumb question, but what's the difference between a fade and a streak?

@RedZoneRocky yes this helps tremendously, thank you 😊
What’s the best type of offense to run on online head to head?

True I use bengals
How can I tell if it’s cover 4
