The new s1000rr doesn't need any dyno tuning to adjust air/fuel ratio. It comes with the auto-tuning system from the factory. It just needs a good ECU flash to remove the restrictions and the bike will adjust itself on the fly even if you're switching to racing fuel no custom maps needed. Also, it's very lightweight 434lbs for the base model and 425lbs for M package. So it's no way need to be 459lbs. No trying to be a dick or something but it'll nice of you to read the specs and features of the bike before you talking about them.
@@itsmeericb You're probably read the specs of the older model which weighs 449lbs. If you have to ask, your not ready for the track. It's all about the rider, not the bike. Start with a Suzuki SV650, then move to a GSXR 600. I say suzuki because they are the cheapest to run and are very comfortable. Track bikes are very expensive and running one of these machines tends to be very costly, more so when you lay them down.

Handheld tuner, you do it all yourself. It's a great system because you can flash back to stock or to Stage 2 etc all using the same device. The closed loop wideband O2 on the S1000RR means tuning is always spot on regardless of elevation, etc

The dead spot exists only on the US version. It’s not an emissions issue either. It’s a noise issue. If BMW didn’t cut the power at 6k it would have been too loud and failed the noise test.
