@@atmylimitrgggh Nah, I feel like that one has more of a smug energy. The kind that perfectly represents Edgeworth's "I just outsmarted your stupid ass and you know it" energy.
I feel that this sorta makes it one of the better pursuit themes
A lot of the other ones feel like they're low on energy, with one of the major exceptions I can think of being 2002, 2009, and 2011, which to me somewhat lessens the impact of the scenes they play in
@@HyperSlinky81 Oh, definitely. Its one of my favorites. I guess the other ones were more going for a sort of triumphant feeling, which in the case of TGAA made sense, considering that theme usually only played there when you drove the final nail into the coffin.
But for a theme that is used more commonly, such as this one, the feeling of having caught on to a vital inconsistency and then rubbing in the culprit's face, going from a low to a high both in tone and music makes a lot more sense.

Throughout the game, I think both are only used sparingly throughout case 4, which allows them both to suit the specific case better than if they were used throughout the entire game, which wouldn't fit that well with tone and would mess up the impact they have in 2-4

The courtroom in AJ looks very dark and mysterious opposed to the courtroom in the original trilogy which looks bright and more justice-y.

honestly, apollo and pheonix are both badass, but it depends on the last game you played :P you get synced with theyre character almost and feel more attached after playing as one of them
idk about everyone else but this is definitely my favorite pursuit theme out of the first four games

"weird mechanics": I'm not sure what you mean by this, but this game had some of the most unique and fun mechanics in the series. the paper thing in case 4, the mixing board in case 3, the *everything* in case 2.

ultimately, those things do come down to opinion. the one thing about this game that i will defend to my grave is the characters- AJ has some of the best single-case characters in the series, namely the kitaki family and daryan crescend.
