They're squatting all over Portland, when there's all this space on the dry side to build them a nice safe place with a fence around it.

Whao! I'd love to hear more about Nick Hoss and Guardian's Theft Recovery. I've never heard of it. I often wish there was a website or something for all of Portlanders to post photos and descriptions of obviously stolen property. If we all knew about it and used it, it would make a big difference. Could you do a story highlighting him and his services?

I'm surprised the Wagon and it's wheels could get BACK across the bridge to Vancouver without blowing.
The original owner of the weiner wagon was Skip Ballwebber. He not only served a variety of hot dogs, but taco bowls as well. He was a fixture on the corner of 12th and Main in downtown Vancouver for years. I worked next door for 4 years and got to know Skip as a fine man, hard worker, and asset to our downtown. I'm glad his legacy is moving forward.
And no mention of arrests. Wheeler wants to give the squatters hotel rooms with full room service.
We're here to help people , not arrest and shame them..........................

A friend had a stump grinder stolen from in front of his house off NE 60th near the viaduct serving the train. It was during the iced up streets. He makes his living off that thing, abd it wasn't theft insured.

I’m so glad your Wiener Wagon was recovered. I went there a couple times a week for lunch. I worked at Holland on that corner. It’s so iconic, and Robin, you are a wonderful lady.

Apparently you've been living under a rock your whole life then, because she's been downtown on Main Street across from Amaro's running it for around a decade. The Weiner Wagon and the little statue are absolutely part of Downtown Vancouver's identity.
Try getting to know your own city and maybe look for something positive to say instead of going out of your way to crap on someone without even knowing what you're talking about.
