    2 points:
    first off, i shoot plastic baits, and one of the molds i have is a 5" jerkbait with a recess for an eye. the recess is the perfect size for the small googley eyes at walmart and i love using them for that.
    second, i just want to say. ive been watching marling baits for a while, and he is an artist. its art. it makes me want to make my own, but ive had the creativity beat out of me as a child. ive recently in the past month found your channel is very analytical, and numbers driven. that i understand. that im good at. i can relate to these videos.

    A classic build that anyone can do. Using alternate materials really appeals to my frugal side. Nicely done.

    Fly tyer getting into lure making here. Love your vids. Poor fly tyers use paint brush bristles for the tails of their flies instead of coq de Leon or pheasant feathers. Now these damn paint brushes are good for plugs too? Sweet.
    Maybe if you have some dye, you could use the bristles for that rear hook tail.

    Nice one Franco! Novel designs are interesting but the KISS approach certainly has its merits (my first lures were carved from broom handles and had the red/white paint job)! Excellent video - great that you show and explain different options. Thanks for posting! Cheers!

    Really enjoying the content Franco 👍please could you make a simple torpedo style glide bait for us all on the laithe? A 6"-7" would be perfect for musky & pike, if the shape was kind of a bulbed head tapering down & a simple cut off back end 👍 would be really interested too see how you go about getting the right too left sweeping glide action into it!
    Keep up the good work my friend 👏

      @@EngineeredAngler The lure I made did work and I caught a small pike maybe 1 kilo first time out. I think you would like a 3d printer for your designs, and with you're knowledge it would produce amazing lures from the start.

    Back to basics, I like it. I may do one just for fun, the coffee bean lure not likely😉. I thought you might incorporate the bristles and make a tail and make your lip from the metal part that holds the bristles. Thanks for an interesting build. Still waiting for you to build a darter. Nobody on youtube has done one that I am aware of.

    So crazy glue is basically the same thing as normal super glue?

    • @EngineeredAngler
      @EngineeredAngler  ปีที่แล้ว

      Cyanoacrylates-also known as CA glue, ethyl cyanoacrylates, super glues, instant adhesives, or Krazy Glues-are adhesives made from cyanoacrylate esters (most commonly ethyl). These adhesives are primarily characterized by their fast cure time when moisture is present.Apr 30, 2020

    Hey, if u use spray cans, what kind of epoxy works with it. I tried spraycans and epoxy, but it seems like the spraypaint attacks the 2K epoxy. Anything i should consider?
