You can get fake Budgie eggs to put in the nesting box so she’ll lay on them and keeps her from laying more.

You should give Bella rest for atleast 3 months.She may die.Eggs may be infertile.Remove the nest box for rest.
I think he always check if it is fertile or infertile like during nibbler's egg clutch

Evil Parakeets I don’t think Bella losing her calcium and becoming egg bound is good.
I telling this because constant egg laying and caring can affect Bella's health severely so remove the breeding box. #bella-biscuit.
What do you put in the bottom of the nesting box?? I put shredded paper she threw it out.. I put shredded paper towels she threw it out??
This is so cute! More baby budgies! But after this you’re going to need to separate Bella and Biscuit to stop them from breeding again because Bella can die, feeding the babies will take a lot of protein out of her body and it’s not healthy for her to do it a 3rd time after this, also she can become stressed. you’ll have to wait a few months before you can breed again. Not trying to be mean :) I can’t wait to see these baby budgies when they’re all grown up!

Agreed. It also takes A LOT of calcium out of Bella to produce eggs. It’s very unhealthy for female birds to try to have eggs without a lot of calcium in their bodies.

Don't need to separate Bella and Biscuit, just take away their nesting box - budgies won't breed if they have no nesting box, our boys and girls live together happily - no nesting box = no breeding! :)
You don’t need to separate them, just simply take away the nest box and they’ll stop. There’s no reason to separate a bonded pair.
Please, remove the nest ... you will tired her up until a very bad fatigue! ... She has been breed once, let her rest for a while, maybe until next spring!

@Hayllie Oulman Sorry, but I think you are mistaken. Pinkish or blue colored nose means it's a boy, if the nose is colored white or brown. It's a female.

In order to stop them breeding again, u need to remove/block the nesting box.
