Apprentice James First Hunting Bow

I had a wonderful opportunity to work with the Utah Arts and Museum council with another Folk Arts Apprenticeship grant. This time, I was able to teach two apprentices the art of bow making. James decided to make a hunting recurve out of Osage Orange and it is a great first bow. I am grateful for the funds that helps keep this art progressing into the hands of other interested individuals and hope that you enjoyed the video as well.
