The glaring light of a spring noon, the sound of silence, yet the mooing of a herd of cows. Embedded between the hills in Germany, we are on our way to our next destination. In a quaint mountaineous town, lies the house of little Paris, frozen in time. A charming and homely place. Nonetheless, the family story underlying this lonely property is rather sad.
This was the home of a loving couple, who had one son. The boy was working in a porcelain factory. Astonishingly, we found the porcelain he made in this local factory left behind inside of the house.
Sadly enough, the son became disabled, perhaps because of an accident, and he was unable to perform his job anymore.
After the father passed away, the mother had the calling to nurse her son.
A few years later, in 2016, the mother departed this earth too. As the disabled son could not maintain the place, the house is gloomily left deserted ever since.

It brings me back in time..Germans love their collections and Bamboo door dividers.Those were the times.I have one...on my French doors..going to a garden house .Everything is neatly put away,very German too..This Video is sad...but it made my day.Thanks😊

Happy to see Remon here again. At minute 19:40 we can see glasses painted with swans using a blue scarf. They caught my attention because they were in another house and I, here in Brazil, also have one and it brings back memories of my childhood.
Also, the newspaper on the table at 20:13 is from 05/01/2015.
Wow, you must have a really high def screen. The date is just a blur on mine. I suppose googling headlines might work for identifying the page as well. :)
Oh my heart, what a beautifully sad find. The bed towards the end with the beer bottles, its like you can almost see how someone just slept there...and the shoes in that little hallway with the pram. Heartbreaking♥

So sad as too what happened to the family that once occupied this amazing home
As a young child my family on weekends would pit puzzles together. The Eiffel tower and other grand places came out the late 80"s. My children enjoyed puzzles with myself and their Nana on their fathers side whom we lived with. So my memories with my family and them are another memory for myself. Again thank you so much

When I (Maureno) was a child I loved puzzling too. In the Netherlands we have puzzles from "Jan van Haasteren", they are very detailed puzzles and contain lots of pieces. You should definitely Google them, I loved making these puzzles at a child :-)
What a lovely sad place. I really respect you boys for being very respectful of a lot the places you go to. Also thank you for not making fun of the homes and what you find. They are some that make jokes of where they are and find. Thank you love watching you.

Ig each and every rooms were like used to be a room for rent or maybe like a few tenants are renting before the son decided to leave,maybe that is... :)

Yeah! That's what i noticed to 'em sometimes, when they use other word instead of 'that' certain word, but all in all, they are quite good when explaining(just need a bit of polish) 💙👍😁

Great video as always guys! My guess is they rented out the upstairs, that is probably why it looks more plain than the rest of the house. And would also explain a kitchen being up there. Love love love that country road! The view is amazing! 💜💜💜
I think maybe the son was the bread winner for the family and he had an accident at work which is what caused him to become disabled and after that he was no longer able to provide for the family so his mother had to rent out the upstairs to keep up with the bills and after she passed he was no longer able to keep up with the house and it became abandoned. 😔😢

It's definitely a bigger house than you would first think it was going to be. I agree that it was divided between people for probably expenses & privacy.
Maureno and Remon, Hello again. That place gave a 1970's feel all the way through. It seemed like the original owners were renting out rooms to maybe help pay bills. As you guys went through the rooms I got shot backwards in time to a less stressful time of my childhood, a happier time. I momentarily felt like a kid again.
