Every now and then, we encounter abandoned homes where one could rummage around for hours and hours. There are so many details to see, stories to unravel, and beautiful relics to discover. The story of this particular property is all about a French Kendo swordsman, who was fortunate in his love life too. His wife was a top model and her photogenic pictures still wander all over the walls inside the house. Together they had a son and daughter and genetics did its job. At puberty, following in her mother's footsteps, their daughter also became a fashion model. Five years ago, the French couple left their home for a more delicate home in the capital of Paris. Ever since that day they have not cared about it, leaving all their precious possessions to decompose under the dust and cobwebs. Over the years, nature has crept in and the building has already undergone significant natural decay. The future of the building nevertheless looks bright. The house has been up for sale for a few weeks now, and if you want to see how I found out about it, stay tuned for another unforgettable exploration.

To be honest, this is one of the best time capsules i've ever watched!!!! The question is why leave beautiful photos behind ..clothes can be replaced but photos of family and friends can never be replaced.. beautiful home where once laughter and love lived..

I think maybe the man left in early 2000's when the grand children were still under 5 yrs old. Maybe his wife passed. The daughter would be about 50 and her children would be possibly grown now. You know how long it takes for that much dust and cobwebs. I am always amazed as to how all those precious pics lose interest to the children and grand children. Congrats on learning French so well to have conversations!!! Thank you again for taking us with you.

Actually the property is beautiful. Honestly, with everything still in it, you can see how wonderful it would be to raise a family there. The fun in creating your own memories, and future. What a dream to own it.

Les bêtises de Cambrai. Cambrai est une ville du Nord de la France pas très loin de Lille. Les bonbons sont très très durs et ont un goût de menthe 😉😋 j'espère que la maison trouvera bien vite acquéreurs pour la faire revivre comme elle le mérite 🤞🤞🤞

Healthy ball - these are balls that you roll together in one hand and then the other with the fingers of the same hand. They help keep your hands strong and flexible and the balls - hitting reflexology points in the hands help with hand, wrist, and arm strength.

Once again my jaw dropped ..... I never understand how people can move from their home and just leave EVERYTHING! If they are in Paris, why wouldn't they pack their personal items at least! It's really weird!

I looked on Bruno's website and couldn't find the property so I'm guessing it sold. They probably had so many beds in the kids' room to accommodate grand children. It's so strange they left so much stuff behind. I suspect that as they got older the property started going into decline before moving to Paris.

This was a delightful house of a fortunate and creative family. So many photos and little paintings. Collections of deep pots and other rather country oriented containers and baskets. Beautiful family. The longbow and quiver of arrows was a great find and the armor. Thank you Maureno and Bruno for allowing this explore to be done. Very enjoyable. I hope someone will buy this house and live there and create a rich life in the countryside. 💙
🏡The more I look at this home, the more I love it just the way it is. If I bought it, I would clean everything, place all the nick nacks back, and just get rid of the newspaper and magazines.. after I read them.

The large sewing machine looks like an electric industrial machine used in clothing factories. I used to use one years ago

I use to have an urbex friend who did abandoned retail stores. Many of the places he featured were bought by people who had seen his videos and thought they could use that place.

If you look at the advanced ages of the husband and wife, him being in his 80's and in the photos of her that are more current, she looks to be not much younger, the bedroom with all the beds was likely for their grandchildren. In some photos, I saw a woman who looked like her daughter with about 4 kids. It would make more sense to me.

Ich habe mich Anfangs schon gewundert, weil der Hof und alles außen herum aussah wie frisch gerodet. Da dachte ich schon, so ganz lost sieht das nicht aus. Ich fand es richtig toll, dass Du doch rein kamst und Fotos machen durftest. Das Haus ist unglaublich und wenn ich genug Geld hätte, würde ich es kaufen. Ich mag solche Häuser sehr. Danke für die interessante Tour durch das Haus.

Wow, wow, wow, what an amazing find . I'm in love with this house but when I think being alone and far away from my 2 grown up children , my heart breaks. I prefer to live in my tiny condo here in Toronto but close to my children.

I wiuld imagine that,s why he moved to Paris as probably his grown children moved there for work ettc.
The old sewing machines probably don't work cause there is usually a leather cord like thing that attaches to the wheel from the foot pedal to the actual machine. This leather cord is what makes the sewing needle go up n down. Both machines from what I could see were missing the leather cord. Also it may need to have those moving parts oiled from the foot on up on the machines. My grandmother had a pedal machine. I used to watch how my father would tighten up the leather cord and oil the moving parts for her. I inherited her machine and it still worked perfectly.
@Explomo You said you would ask Bruno at the end if he knew why they just left everything? All I could think is the loss of one of the family members and too hard to keep any memories and just moved on. I hope that wasn't the case but it was only thing I could think of, maybe wife passed? Beautiful vid btw!

Oh wow! Just wow! This is amazing. Bruno sounds like a really decent guy and I hope he is able to sell the place and save it from going into a state of disrepair that can't be fixed. One of your best videos ever! A little info about the balls in the red silk box: Chinese medicine balls are called Baoding balls, after the area where they were created, and have been used for thousand of years. They were designed to help relieve stress while building finger dexterity, wrist and forearm strength.

In many cases the elderly parent gets in poor health, they go to live near the children and hospitals for care; maybe when the property sells they'll come back and sort out the contents. That's a beautiful property. Many thanks again for a great video!!
