Without knowing anything about a place which looked abandoned to us when we discovered it 3 months ago on Google Maps, we drove for miles and miles in France to go and check it out. After a challenging way to access its garden, we managed our way inside, and what was left behind truly blew our mind. Being the first ones in 10 years to discover this true time capsule mansion, full with spiders, dust and mold was an incredible experience. Everything was left behind. Later we even found out it this property used to belong to the mayor of the small town in which this mansion is located.

This may be the most beautiful house I've ever seen. To think that it is abandoned and that the antiques in it might just decay is heartbreaking. In every room one can feel the love of the family. Thank you for finding this incredible house and taking us along for an explore.

Good job Moreno!! It's truly an amazing find. It's
a cross from 1890 and 1970! The colors of the bathrooms were an excellent hint! The little pot sitting on the bottom of a small table is actually used to put hot coals. The little pot was quickly delivered to a bed to warm it up. It would be wrapped in a soft blanket and placed at their feet. It was a traditional thing done in the cold weather months.
Thanks for talking us inside! 😊😘💕💕💞

This happens a lot in France, if there are many children there is often a dispute on property, money etc so under French law everything is left until an agreement can be made. Sometimes the state will just take everything to cover legal stuff and taxes. It is sad but that is France.

The average price in France of furniture pieces shown in this video is actually pretty low, that's why there's lot of stuff left in abandoned places. The most worth objects would be portrait of a man from the first half of 19th century and that chinoiserie piece of furniture worth about couple of hundreds € each.

If you see her just reply that you do or you don't.

@@es1263 The 2 perfectly shaped orange spots was probably some kind of glue or tacky to hold that part of the mirror up. You look down further and see 2 more orange spots where another piece of the mirror fell forward. Not sure I see a face just the wallpaper or wood behind it that the tacky was stuck to for each mirror piece.

It is so interesting in a strange way to go through someone's home and be able to look closely at the things that it contains. Homes like this in Europe are so different from houses in Canada. The wood furniture is fantastic, that will be worth a lot of money. I’m so pleased you hide the locations as recently there was a lovely find in the uk and then somehow the media got hold of it and then it was badly vandalised. So good for you. Even the “ ordinary furniture “ isn’t that ordinary- big and solid and beautiful. The little pan could be a bed warmer, not sure. That green in bathroom is an old colour probably 60’s. Avocado I think is it’s name. What a gem of a place, I love it 🌹

Wow, that’s such a beautiful house, and it is so sad that everything was left behind, it’s the history of that family and now everything is just there, locked up and no idea where it all those belongings going to.
Imagine that place all restored and renovated for living nowadays.
Thanks for sharing with us. I love to see these abandoned places and every time I wonder how was it like and what happened to the families.

I have to watch again. I so wanted to bring a vacuum and join you. I wondered why first wooden table had a large square without dust on it. This must be rescued! People would pay money to walk through this house! Wonderful find! Thank you for sharing.

Hi Maureno & Lesley, I adore that beautiful cabinet in the living room, it really is stunning. The item at 13:55 is I think a bed warmer. With the word archives you pronounce it ar kives and a gentle suit is just called a suit. An absolutely gorgeous mansion with so many beautiful belongings, such s shame it is just going to decay peacefully in it's own silence. Thank you for finding this amazing place, you obviously have good research skills, much love. xx💖

The lil pan you picked up was actually used as a bed warmer with coals or burnt wood put between sheets or a pillow warmer.
    How incredible 😍.
