Never had a bike, parents didn't care, never learned. I'm 21 and it's just so embarrassing that I don't want to go out in public and allow my fiancee to teach me. He's like the only person who knows besides my family who love to joke about it if it ever gets brought up.

Being the only person in the family that "can't ride a bike" is embarrassing. Both my sisters were taught how to ride but when it came to me there was no bike. I finally learned aged 53 with some free local council lessons.
My husband can't understand why I can't do simple the manoeuvres that he takes for granted and it knocked my confidence a little. I now go out on my own for half an hour at a time and forget about how silly I look!

Im always pressured into doing biking and i have a giant fear of it and since i have the lack of confidence and depression its very hard to learn, i just tried today and i cant even get on it and when i fell i instantly gave up and almost cried because i can never learn anything without giving up but i dont want my parents to see me cry so i just have a weird face with watery eyes trying not to talk and since i had a personal incident im literally sad all the time

I wish that was available where I live in Northampton, U.K.! I'm currently 44 and have never been able to ride a bike (I wasn't allowed to, as kid growing up in North West London. I attempted it as 14, but couldn't do both peddling and balancing at the same time). I have below average hearing, so I wonder if that has made my situation much worse? I was encouraged to go one a motorcycle training and compulsory basic training course this month. As you can imagine, I had "balance issues" on both a moped and 125cc bike and wasn't asked to progress to doing the C.B.T. course. I was devastated, as it is still a lifelong ambition to be a Biker. I was advised by the instructor to go and learn how to ride a bicycle first, which put me right back to square one. I thought, "Well, if I haven't managed to achieve learning how to ride a bicycle in 44 years, it might be impossible to achieve that now!"
Your video was very nice and I think all of those lucky people in the video were really grateful for that opportunity.
