Because of the better camera controls and the good D-pad adaptation (that reminds of spyro the dragon on the ps1) I actually think the ds version controls better than the n64 version, it's weird to get into the controls if you're used to the original, but it's really not hard.

The guy goes into explaining "half A presses" and other extremely technically stuff that seems like witchcraft to someone who doesn't do this kind of stuff. which lead to the injokes you see right now.
It's not really that technical. The guy claimed that you could press down the A button and that was a half press. Releasing the button was the other half press.
