    Yes! Great video. I never thought I'd see someone commentate a TAS of SM64 DS! It's a very good introduction to the tricks and glitches used, but most of the optimization when TASing this game comes from the movement used. It doesn't go too deep into the glitches but it would be incredible to see a Bismuth-style video on the any% TAS.
    Thanks for giving this game more love! I'd really like to see new tasers!

    "TAS Speedruns"
    - A guy who probably says ATM Machine

    • @MattTheCommenter
      @MattTheCommenter 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Both pronunciations are used by TASers, so Nathaniel technically isn't wrong. Saying TAS as each letter individually is used often but not always. For me it's like saying Laser, with each letter pronounced individual

    • @JorWat25
      @JorWat25 4 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      @@MattTheCommenter The problem isn't saying 'TAS' as a word, it's saying 'speedrun' as well, as that's what the S stands for, like how in ATM, the M stands for 'machine'. Another common example of RAS syndrome (redundant acronym syndrome) is PIN number.

    This video is great, amazing even. Shedding light on an awesome community that is TAS.
    However my one criticism, the music chooses was a little distracting; Like it wasn't a lot just enough to be noticable.

    he doesn't activate a trigger for the goomba king boss battle.
    He jumps into the mario painting which is still active in the dark area, which is dark because he didn't enter the door.
