Just finished the roller coaster of a ride that is Lady of the Lake and came here to see the fam fam... You know CDPR made a hell of a game when you get goosebumps watching this trailer.
Just wish the "Next Gen" update wasn't delayed yet again with no date as they brought its development back in house. Was waiting for that while itching to replay. 3090 demands more.
I especially love the fact that the other witchers have moved in. Witchers, in the land of chivalry and codes of honour. It's perfect. I can imagine Eskel taking on witcher-squires, Geralt lecturing them about morals and Lambert trying to persuade them to get wasted and dress up in women's clothing

I’m blown away at the amount of content the main game and dlcs provided in this day and age of corporate greed. They really are special and hope they keep this tradition of making great games.
There is no way a Witcher 4 will be made. Witcher was made as a trilogy. That is why they wanted to give us the oportunity in this game to choose who will Geralt have as his wife (Triss,Yennefer) or keep being a witcher. This was the game finale and making a Witcher 4 would spoil such a nice ending. Except the one where Ciri dies and Geralt propably dies becauce of depression, desperation and fury.

If there is a future witcher it will be clearly without geralt tho that scene with his entire friends at his home basically confirms it he's retired hes living too peaceful now to continue the life of a witcher. But what I found interesting is the only character that was not there was Letho wich could be CD projekt red giving us a message that maybe they will work on a Letho game in the future or maybe they are already working on it. that would be awesome.
Wait until you finish the Bloody Baron quest line, if that doesn't feel like one of the most natural, gut wrenching quests you have ever done instead of the typical FedEx 'go here, kill this' of other games nothing will. And the game just gets better as it goes further along!
Me too!!!! I never planned on picking up the game and was just going to acknowledge that everyone was saying it was good. Then I watched the show and was like dang now I need a Witcher fix. So I bought the game (at the amazing price it is now) and have been playing so much. That bloody baron quest instantly hooked me in unlike any other game

CD Projekt Red is the gold standard of game developer. For the base price of their games they always add a little extra. A map, some stickers, little things with each game. Even the promise of free DLC in the weeks to come. Nothing major, but always quality. And, with every game they give you a thank you letter, for supporting them. More than most game companies now a days they know how important their fan base is to them, and they always treat them well. Like a gran mother who never forgets a birthday. More companies need to work like they do.
In short, they basically set the bar too high which ruined it for other games. That they can't recreate the same deep engaging story, choices with consequences, open world experience, excellent combat, love interests and a card game. Expectations to have that same feeling of amazement, seems unlikely now. Though I hope there next project Cyberpunk would be epic as the last.

I feel bad that i've only played tw3, not cause of the trilogy itself but because CDPR made all of this with so much love that i feel like im not valuing their work properly...if i would ask for something in my life, it'd a tw1+tw2 remaster/remake, but i dont actually feel like "demanding" anything from them cause they already have completely won our hearts for everything they did so far and thats fair enough

Yet if you have ALL the Nilgaard-cards too, you can put up a counter-deck that is incredibly versatile and resourceful!(4 spy's, 5 recoverycards, and stil la duplicating Vanguard-unit! It requires a more tactical mindset then the NR-deck, yet.... the Gwent in Witcher 3 is a brilliant game!!!!)

I deeply understand you. This game(and also other fantasy games) gives me some kind of refuge to and even if that world is so harsh and cruel it still has something very lovely with all the nice characters, interesting creatures and the possibility to really influence somehow the political situation 😍 It's a bit sad that i can't walk through the Nilfgaardian Novigrad without all that witchhunters and religious fanatic. I really like Geralt, Yen and all the others and I wished that I could really dive into the world like Kirito have done in Sword art Online to meet all that wonderful people and to explore that beautiful world even more. ❤️

I heard the devs say the Witcher was always going to be a three part series so any future game would need to be with a new main character. How did that work out for Mass Effect?
You could always have ciri as the main character, I mean think about it, different abilities, a character we already know who's just as important as geralt and yen in the witcher stories. Plus she can walk planes so you could get all kinds of creative with that, they did a bit in the witcher 3 but imagine it being a core game mechanic. Either way its a great series with tons of possibilities for development in the future but Geralts story is definitely over after blood and wine.
Citadel was created as an "apology" to all the angry fans. And no matter how well it was received, at the end of the day, it broke the story. Yeah, right, the Galaxy is ravaged by the holocaust war, and Shepard suffers from bi-polar disorder -- one night he has nightmares of all the people he lost, next night he parties hard with his friends and decides on what furniture he wants to pick for his new apartment.
me played twice i didnt buy the witcher till late 2015 when i first played it i didnt think much of it felt slow af so i stopped playing for awhile and when i returned and got into more deepth in the game i was blown away with the story my 1st plathrough i did mainly everything and was level 55 after the main game and dlc and im level 51 atm on my second playthrough just trying to clean up all question marks but the real question is who did u choose to romance triss or yen ?
she may be a great love interest in the books but in this game only triss is perfect for geralt in this game forget the nasty things she did in this game triss is simply amazing

A true masterpiece, I can't explain why but seeing this made my heart skip a beat. I have never fealt more involved in a character than I do with Geralt. CDPR is the De Vinci of the 21st century. Bravo. I hope you can continue telling stories that inspire generations to come.
That's not canon, Saif. Gaunter O' Dimm will help you acquire the "good" ending with Ciri if you let him take Olgierd, so there's no set date for the events of Hearts of Stone.

If there is a future witcher it will be clearly without geralt tho that scene with his entire friends at his home basically confirms it he's retired hes living too peaceful now to continue the life of a witcher. But what I found interesting is the only character that was not there was Letho wich could be CD projekt red giving us a message that maybe they will work on a Letho game in the future or maybe they are already working on it. that would be awesome.

Wait until you finish the Bloody Baron quest line, if that doesn't feel like one of the most natural, gut wrenching quests you have ever done instead of the typical FedEx 'go here, kill this' of other games nothing will.

So I bought the game (at the amazing price it is now) and have been playing so much. That bloody baron quest instantly hooked me in unlike any other game

CD Projekt Red is the gold standard of game developer. For the base price of their games they always add a little extra. A map, some stickers, little things with each game. Even the promise of free DLC in the weeks to come. Nothing major, but always quality. And, with every game they give you a thank you letter, for supporting them. More than most game companies now a days they know how important their fan base is to them, and they always treat them well. Like a gran mother who never forgets a birthday. More companies need to work like they do.

In short, they basically set the bar too high which ruined it for other games. That they can't recreate the same deep engaging story, choices with consequences, open world experience, excellent combat, love interests and a card game. Expectations to have that same feeling of amazement, seems unlikely now. Though I hope there next project Cyberpunk would be epic as the last.

Geralt just acknowlodging that us players spend more time with him than any other character in that room. In fact, his video game journey would've stayed untold if we wouldn't have played it. Hands down Witcher 3 Wild Hunt (+the expansions) is the best game i've played, and i played A LOT.

It requires a more tactical mindset then the NR-deck, yet.... the Gwent in Witcher 3 is a brilliant game!!!!)

This game(and also other fantasy games) gives me some kind of refuge to and even if that world is so harsh and cruel it still has something very lovely with all the nice characters, interesting creatures and the possibility to really influence somehow the political situation 😍 It's a bit sad that i can't walk through the Nilfgaardian Novigrad without all that witchhunters and religious fanatic.
I really like Geralt, Yen and all the others and I wished that I could really dive into the world like Kirito have done in Sword art Online to meet all that wonderful people and to explore that beautiful world even more. ❤️

I'd love it be it would have to be a prequel, the way the Witcher 3 ended was to perfect.
New friends, new places, new monsters... and perhaps a new witcher? Always wanted to do the Trial of Grasses with a young witcher-in-training as a character.
I heard the devs say the Witcher was always going to be a three part series so any future game would need to be with a new main character. How did that work out for Mass Effect?
You could always have ciri as the main character, I mean think about it, different abilities, a character we already know who's just as important as geralt and yen in the witcher stories. Plus she can walk planes so you could get all kinds of creative with that, they did a bit in the witcher 3 but imagine it being a core game mechanic. Either way its a great series with tons of possibilities for development in the future but Geralts story is definitely over after blood and wine.
Not with Geralt I hope. Let him enjoy his retirement.

me played twice i didnt buy the witcher till late 2015 when i first played it i didnt think much of it felt slow af so i stopped playing for awhile and when i returned and got into more deepth in the game i was blown away with the story my 1st plathrough i did mainly everything and was level 55 after the main game and dlc and im level 51 atm on my second playthrough just trying to clean up all question marks but the real question is who did u choose to romance triss or yen ?

That's not canon, Saif. Gaunter O' Dimm will help you acquire the "good" ending with Ciri if you let him take Olgierd, so there's no set date for the events of Hearts of Stone.
