@@dadat30I used to use getaway artist but fallen sunstar is so much more useful for energy refund plus you can get the empowered arc buddy just by getting a grenade kill for an ionic trace before casting your rift. If you prefer that play style though, it's all good. The game should be about enjoying how you play.
You could also run the mod where casting your rift automatically collects any nearby Orbs of Power given you'll be right where all the orbs you and your team will be generating are
I adore this build. Been using it all season on Grandmasters. Plus Vesper has a lovely ornament too. I also use flashbangs grenades for longer distance blinding.
If you use Centrifuse with a varient of this build it goes crazy and handles all champions. Solo GMs are a breeze with everything being blinded by everything in the build aside from the grenade. I've been using it for about a month.
@Pumpkinfish12 Id have to look at my building, however I find it quite easy to use Centrifuse with catalyst which passively gains charge while amplified. Each kill with the weapon blasts enemies and blinds them. My rift blinds and my nades blind and jolt. Centrifuse is Anti Barrier, Nades are Jolt for overload and blind is Unstoppable. I pair it with my Hothead and a shotgun typically but ive been also using chilltide
No, you can't go back to Constantinople. I never got the glaive hate. They're a faster, slightly better (unpowered) melee, and it works on a number of melee damage mods. Plus, as you said, the shielding is amazing with a 98% damage reduction or something. A number of my builds make use of it to great effect across the classes. Gyrfalcon's with a void glaive for example is a great way to wade through a mob and feel invincible: Consistent invisibility, volatile rounds on ranged projectiles, all of the void glaives you can obtain (that matter) have a reload on blocking damage perk, and it's an artefact anti-champion weapon this season. Plus the shot damage isn't lacking. Something a lot of people don't take into consideration. This just shows another good use of glaives in another element.
I've played a warlock since Destiny came out years ago and have played all the subclasses. When my husband and I came back to Destiny 2 a couple months ago, he shared your videos with me and I've tried out all your warlock builds. This one, by far, has been my absolute favorite! I have never felt more powerful, especially in higher level content. Thank you for putting together all your class videos! They have been absolutely fantastic!
This plus centrifuse made getting that scout rifle so much easier. Personally I used blinding nades to keep blinding and used stormtrance to do clean up while everything is blinded. There is also an aspect where u crit a blinded enemy it causes an explosion.
I have seen a lot of build videos, but this is the first one I follow to the letter. To give context, I have a nine to five job five days a week, so, I don't play as frequently as other people, therefore, higher level content had been always outside of my capabilities, but with this build, I completed easily the Aphelion Rest lost sector solo legend, and got the Mantle of Battle Harmony as a result. Best glaves for this, Winterbite. Stuns overloads by slowing. Stuns unstopables by freezing then shattering them or Vexcalibur for infinite overshields. That said I run this exact build for 2 months. For faster paced mindless melee only runs use karnstien armlets instead.
would you suggest this for the solo flawless run? i usually use titan with hammer build but i keep dying in the shrieker room and then the finall boss room

@@LakerTriangle Not all creators , but if you look up any solo gm guide on a specific class like warlock you will see underrated channels that are far better skill level than mactics and in high level discord servers run this build but a more efficient version

Running this exact Warlock since 3 weeks and I can't believe how OP it is. You put down your rift inside a group of adds and they all disappear. You have the next rift before the first one runs out, thanks to traces, you have grenades every 10 seconds, in PVE you have zero challenges up to HERO level, and it Masters and Grandmasters you are the most resilient and most destructive warlock you have ever been. Compared to the build here I'd use a HotHead Rocket Launger (Arc) and an Arc Energy Weapon such as Riskrunner or even Matador, you want to be close to the enemies in order to charge your abilities faster, a shotgun us a nice thing to have.
Nice to see mactics doing a video on this build, been using it since I got a vesper of radius as a random roll, damn it is OP, best warlock build this season tbh.

After playing Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon and other hard content, I had to come back to comment that this build you did is really, really fun. And it is pretty darn good, too. I can understand hate glaive in pvp, but you're off your rocker if you think glaives are not worth running in pve. you can block everything in this game pretty much and never die. i got slammed by an unstop with the shield and didnt even die. sure damage could be boosted, wont mind there but the utility alone is worth the spot.
Hi, 9 months later and I tweaked this build by using a special sidearm coming from warlord's ruin dungeon and combining it with blinding fragment(the one that kills with arc special weapons will blind nearby targets) and oh boy it is so good in onslaught
I've been playing this build for a month now with double special, forbearance, and my mods are all for rift regen. It's insane. But works in all content. Super fun.
Super excited to try this out! Been loving your previous arc warlock build with the exotic helm for increased energy return from ionic traces but this really suits my play style.
swap out Spark of Amplitude for Spark of Beacons (while amplified, Arc special final blows create a blinding explosion), equip Forbearance (AA + Chain Reaction) and watch everything fucking die. the enemies can’t even do anything back to you because they can’t see shit! the Forbearance / Spark of Beacons combo is very potent, I can’t recommend it enough. with the Vesper of Radius build especially, there’s basically 100% uptime on dudes being blind lol.
Also if you use centrifuge with the catalyst. I will also energize the weapon and will give you a hell of add sprayer. So if you run and energize the weapon. Pop you rift and wa la!
Been running this since the video went up and honestly I don’t think I’ll ever stop 😂 not sure how much the artefact mods change will effect it but this build is nuts. Got lucky enough to get the trials glaive with volt shot 😱 ⚡️ 💥 build of the season as far as I’m concerned, actually got me playing D2 again when I sort of stopped until next season.
Not gonna lie, up until 2 weeks ago, I always thought Vesper was trash. Never gave it the time of day. Maaaaaaan with max resilience, and at least tier 8 or 9 for recovery and disciple, Its naaaaaasty. Turn everyone into stevie wonder and blow them up

Was doing Ghosts dungeon today with one other guardian and switched to this build at Ecthar. Good Lord it absolutely shocked me how fast thw rift came back and how it wrecked everything on the top. I killed everything up too ajd the other person ran the aymbols in the water.
Why do you not like glaives? Their not very good for damage output, but that shield is OP good at blocking damage. I've easily tanked Lightblade boss attacks in a Grandmaster
Some people missed out on early adoption of glaives. I took the risk and am so glad I did. Unstop glaive, with that glaive shield in GM’s is just godly for revives and casually tanking incredible amounts of GM damage. I wouldn’t trust them either if I hadn’t been profiting from glaives since they came out
I main glaives! I guess it's because I came in at enigmas release and it was my best weapon. The old school d2 don't know that you can solo gm content by ankle hacking.

I took a break from solstice because of the stupid constant bugged solstice quest notification on the lower 1/4th of my screen telling me to add kindling when there is nothing to add to on the solstice armors on all of my characters! Did bungo fix that crap yet?
I love glaives after using Triton Vice. Elements matching the subclass give a matching explosion and you still get increased melee damage. Call me crazy but it still works 😂
i also recommend the fragment that grants increased ability energy regeneration while surrounded by enemies, especially in higher-level activites where the shockwave may not kill an enemy instantly

I am generating grenades with kills from the gl. Then collecting ionic traces through coldheart boosts the outgoing damage of said grenade launcher. But you can throw on something with anti-barrier if needed. This build feels like I am wearing the exotic helmet the Stag. Now, if solo and EVERYTHING is shooting you, you will obviously not survive.. but you can rank a lot with this build.
Been rocking this build for quite some time now for fun and yes it is fun. Some harder content turn into fun mode and some other into a... Well don't do that. But the fast returning rift is amazing. I also did test it without the artifact mod active and it's still good not godly but still usable. Cheers
the perfect exotic weapon for this build would be no time to explain due to you getting a little time turret similar to the arc turret but only for you AND it stacks with arc and when stacked at max its bullets deal around the same damage as the gun

Nezarec’s Whisper is great if you’re going to use this build. I have a crafted enhanced demo and vorpal that slaaaps esp with the season mods
The only way to run this build is with the at Glaive ngl it makes the build more agressive and fun

I run Nezarec's as well. It pop's any shield which reloads the glaive.

Once we get a Glaive in the Kinetic slot, it will get so much better. You'll be able to use POLR, Divinity, or Coldheart to Blind enemies per headshot

I’ve tried both builds, and I can’t tell which build is more efficient.
They are both excellent. If you want that close combat, AoE blasting style, pick Vesper. I use Sunstar for the slide melee and longer range weapons.
Fallen sunstar if you wanna spam abilities, vesper if you wanna get close and personal
I would argue that Insulation x2 is better than Stacks on Stacks. You get your rift back way faster and can load like 2 rifts at once.

You should try the Stag w/Navigator build if you have it. Make sure Electric Armor from the artifact is also enabled.

I love glaives after using Triton Vice. Elements matching the subclass give a matching explosion and you still get increased melee damage. Call me crazy but it still works 😂
i also recommend the fragment that grants increased ability energy regeneration while surrounded by enemies, especially in higher-level activites where the shockwave may not kill an enemy instantly

Despite mods still being locked, this build wrecked shop...very nice indeed. I ran centrifuse with catalyst and slayed everything moving.
Is this apart of the series where you give the best build for each subclass like the stasis hunter one?

I like this but i think ill try it in hoard mode with stasis. Crystal walls everywhere while weaponizing my rift.

What did you use for your primary?

I am generating grenades with kills from the gl.
Then collecting ionic traces through coldheart boosts the outgoing damage of said grenade launcher.
But you can throw on something with anti-barrier if needed.
This build feels like I am wearing the exotic helmet the Stag.
Now, if solo and EVERYTHING is shooting you, you will obviously not survive.. but you can rank a lot with this build.

Why i can't put the mods ??
That when i use my melee or grenade it fill my super ability ( i forget the name of the mod ) but yes i can put it
Been rocking this build for quite some time now for fun and yes it is fun. Some harder content turn into fun mode and some other into a... Well don't do that. But the fast returning rift is amazing. I also did test it without the artifact mod active and it's still good not godly but still usable. Cheers

the perfect exotic weapon for this build would be no time to explain due to you getting a little time turret similar to the arc turret but only for you AND it stacks with arc and when stacked at max its bullets deal around the same damage as the gun
I like the thing that makes your special arc weapons cause blinding explosion on death if you're amplified. The glaives counts as a special weapon.
Pretty hard putting them mods on the arms seeing as they are diisablled, am I missing something.
