I cook my eggs in the air fryer, perfect every time and no clean up. Also peel so easy. 15 mins at 250. I was very skeptical at first so only did one egg the first time. Now I will cook no other way and you can cook however many you want at a time.

I use an InstantPot to “boil” - 3 minutes, immediate steam release, then an immediate ice water bath; works every time.

Instant pot for the win! Been doing it for about 4 years now and it makes peeling eggs a breeze! Gotta cook for 4-6 min depending on altitude and then quick release adding to ice water right away. The shells fall off the eggs like magic!

100% this (I usually do 3 mins plus natural release though). Perfect eggs that are so easy to peel. You'll never go back to stovetop again for this.

I agree! I HATE the peeling and mess. I was flooored by how easily they peel. I have a Foodie..almost the same thing. Does the pressure cook. I set mine for 7 min quick release then put in ice water as well. I like my eggs on the dry side.

You can peel the eggs under water or in running water. The water separates that membrane from the egg. Shell slides off in almost one big piece.

When I cook my hard-boiled eggs and put them in cold water, I never peel them immediatly . I noticed that by keeping them in their shells in an airtight dish in the refrigerator, they kept much longer. I peel them as I eat them. so yummy the de il eggs 👌👌

Loving the popper devil eggs idea. I always put dill relish in mine and use ground spicy brown mustard. Thinking about it, jalapeno mustard would taste great in the popper deviled eggs. Also, another good one would be horseradish, or wasabi for a different kind of deviled egg. So many possibilities.

Peel your eggs under running water and use very fresh eggs. It helps peel more easily. I also start with the eggs at room temp. Put the eggs in cold water and bring to a boil. Turn off the stove, cover and let sit for about 18 minutes. Fewer eggs will crack.

Instant Pot with silicone egg bite molds, No peeling. Perfect every
time. Place molds on trivet. Spray molds, crack eggs in mold. I found that 11 minutes high pressure with quick release. Remove molds with handled trivet. Let cool for short time then put a plate on top and invert. Just gently push on molds and they release quite well. For deviled eggs found better to slice horizontally.
PRAMOO Silicone Egg Bites Molds and Steamer Rack Trivet with Handles for Instant Pot Accessories, 3pcs/set for 6qt & 8qt Electric Pressure Cooker with 7 Colorful Plastic Sticks

I use dill pickle relish. About a tablespoon of onions. Onions diced very fine or grated. I use an egg cooker. Which I love. A must have if you eat boiled eggs all the time. Eggs always peel easily. It makes it so much easier. Mine is the Kalorik 7 egg cooker. A gift from my son.

From the comments I think everyone dramatically overcooks their boiled eggs. Put them in cold water, bring to a boil, take off heat after 1 minute of boil and set aside covered. 4-6 minutes for softer yolks a little darker in the middle. 10-12 minutes for fully cooked. Rinse in cold tap water. Ice is overkill especially after cooking for 15 minutes.

To stop the green forming on the outside of the yolk from constant boiling, I put the eggs in the water before I turn the fire on. Then bring to a boil. Once it starts boiling, put a lid on it and remove it from the fire and let them cook in the closed pot for 15 minutes. Then do your ice bath and they come out perfect. (I also salt the water, but not sure if that helps anything).

My husband makes the best boiled eggs. Start with room tempeture eggs, then bring a pot of water to boil, add the eggs and boil for 5 min. Then shut off and leave sit for 25 min in the hot water. Then drain and add cold ice water. Change if necessary. Tip*. It helps to have older eggs. If you buy at the farm they might be too fresh for boiled eggs and might not peel as good. Store bought are usually older by the time you get them. Hope this helps !

I use my instant pot ultra. Put a cup of water in bottom, put a dozen eggs in the two layer rack for that purpose. Put on the lid and set it to “egg”. When it is done cooking I turn it off and let the pressure release naturally. Then I remove the lid and let the eggs cool till I can move them to a carton. Let them cool so I can put them in the frig. I have NEVER had any problems with pealing them. Hard boiled eggs is the second most frequently done thing I do in my instant pot. God bless my instant pot!

To peel eggs easily do just what you are doing the take one egg at a time and peel it in the sink with a light stream of cool water hitting the egg as you peel , water will get in between the shell and the egg and just come right off , it takes a little practice but works exellent.

Put eggs in steamer basket you can find on TH-cam. So red ks ever time come out perfect no greenish on them

I follow the technique from America’s Test Kitchen. Steam the eggs in a basket in a saucepan for 13 minutes. Immediate ice bath. Voila! Steam is hotter than boiling water which does something. I don’t know. Don’t care because it works. Mayo and Dijon with some Trader Joe’s bagel seasoning.

Pro tip- instant pot deviled eggs are INCREDIBLE. I like a softer yolk so I do 3 minutes, 3 minute natural release, then ice bath. They peel INCREDIBLY smooth. It comes right off.

I don’t ice bath anymore. I just put them under running cold water and they still peel perfectly.😊

I raise my own chickens and I find that if the eggs are fresh I can’t peel them but if I use eggs that are a least 10 day old old they peel easy.

BOILED EGGS: Put eggs into water on stove and let it build up to boil with the eggs in the water. Once boiling, start timer for 10 mins and after 10 minutes put eggs into ice water or just rinse under cold water for a few minutes. Perfect everytime. Note: Not sure if she PRE-heated the water and THEN put eggs into hot water for the video or if this is her method. My earlier version is a step easier and doesn't require putting eggs into the hot water.
