The slash 4x4 is still my favorite rc out of all of mine because it is just so fun!

If you keep running it on 4s get mip half shafts and tekno center drive shaft then get pro line trencher X tires and strc hinge pins and if you want a chassis brace👍!!

Kevin Talbot Don't put a chassis brace in it. Bulkheads etc get taken out onstead. Bit of friendly advice from a long time Slash basher.

i have a 4x4 Platinum Slash on 4s too! mine has a 130a Spektrum esc with a 1900 kv motor. It FLIES and it takes 4s with no problem at all.

Kev your body will crack a whole lot more if you don’t shoe goo and drywall tape it. So make sure you so that or get a Russian indestructible body

I found it hard to roll my slash because of the sway bars, that might be whats happening with yours because the platinum comes with sway bars, also slash bumpers are nearly indestructible, but if you want more controlled wheelies then i would recumbent the rpm rear bumper with wheelie bar wheels and mud flaps

3 years later... nice vid. But here's a question. Usually I read about better not use less than 5000mAh. In the vid the lipo is a 2650mAh. So how to understand this?

Im new to the whole rc thing, you had some 3s batteries and a 4s. Would the 4s make the slash go faster? Cuz im thinking 4 is bigger than 3 so 4 should go faster but idk
yes, 4s is much faster, more s = more volts

Awesome stuff! Love my slash there so much fun, i run mine on 6s with the vxl8s ESC and castle 2200kv motor......... still like the X maxx more 😂 but sometimes it's easier to take the slash out for a blast lol 👍

Hey got a problem with one of my 2650kv motors. Sometimes when I hit the throttle, it twitches and stutters like it don’t know if to go forward or backwards. How do I fix that?
A P.A.C FILM It might be your esc, but sensor less brushless motors tend to twitch and studder.

Make your slash a monster slash
Instead of lugging all that kit like battery’s and cameras and water and other things. Make a trailer for a trx-4 to carry it
You really need to change tires to Pro-line Trencher X SC in renegade wheels it will change your entire opinion of the truck Proline Part Number 1190-13
