F-35 Lightning II (tons of them!) at Luke Air Force Base

- In my recent trip to Arizona, I visited Luke Air Force Base and saw tons of F-35 Lightning II fighter jets flying around. The next video will feature several F-16s!

They fly right over our shop everyday, some complain but i think it's bad ass!

In virginia we have a bunch of f-22s
When i first moved to AZ IN 97 ALL i seen was AH64 Longbow 2 coming from Williams Gateway which is now Mesa Gateway Airport.

Do you know approximately how much runway is needed from first touchdown 'til full stop? Great upload. Also, when you say "tons," how many is that?
I have no idea about the runway length needed. As far as how many F-35s, it's hard to say because we saw several of them more than once. But it's definitely at least a dozen.
It depends if its the Navy or Airforce variant. The F35 was designed as a replacement for the Harrier and in its orginal design was a VTOL (veritical take of and landing)

Yep! We were on a dirt road around the farms.
