Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?
10
A solid 9.5
10 even though I didn’t watch it yet it looks stunning
9❤
3/10
10/10 Not many capture this type of action in camera. The fact that they wanted to destroy a train and could not find one to destroy so they built one themselves is all you need to know why this movie is on another level than most in the same genre.
Trains are not something that you can simply buy and destroy for a movie. They’re very expensive and rare in most cases. So movies typically have to make their own.
John Wick 4 is better
@@MrNiteGaymer Not even close. Sorry.
@@MrNiteGaymer yeah... if you are into video game walkthroughs
@barisbal7782 let's see what happened in this movie.
First there's an airport bomb sequence. Pretty fun
Then there was what felt like a 30 minute car chase scene.
Then we have the reveal of the villain: chat gpt. Completely original.
Then deus ex machina Tom cruise parachuting into a train.
Then this goofy ass villain Gabriel just standing on top of a train with his back turned waiting for Tom.
Yeah I prefer john wick because john wick is about showing off cool action scenes, and it did just that with new ideas and creative environments to fight in. This mission impossible just felt like... more mission impossible, just bloated. Which is a shame because the last movie is one of my favorites.
Gabriel's grin at 3:43 and his look of shock when he realizes that Hunt intendes to kill him at 3:50 really make this scene. We get a great glimpse of the animosity that exists between both characters.
His face says “hey bro tf you’re not supposed to do this”
@@SupportTheLittleGuy”IT IS NOT WRITTEN” is what he was probably thinking 😂
Ilsa said he viewed death as a gift and seeing him almost die with a scared look on his face reminds of what the Joker said about how people show you who they really are in their last moments.
0:13 Gabriel looking at his watch thinking "I have time to spare. Let's fight!"
because of his whole thing of the entity being certain in telling him future events, i thought of his watch glance as him seeing Ethan and thinking “right on time, as expected”
Deathstroke
@@nolanboucher4912 this is correct
"Five minutes. Fives minutes is all I can spare to play with you"
A real Mission: Impossible is that we have Tom forever, because what the whole things he makes for the movies, he does himself!
Practical scene shots is for what cinema and filming was really made for...
Tom Cruise really is one of the last true action stars left...
Keanu reevs too
Sir, this movie has 2500+ VFX shots.
@@user-xd7mk2xz2hVFX doesn't only mean CGI, numbnuts
@@user-xd7mk2xz2hthe cgi would be far more egregious if they didnt do as much pratically as they did.
@@nagasparadox9026 There is notable cgi in this move tho
The actor that plays Gabriel was a fantastic antagonist in Ozark. Nice to see him in this role.
Shame he got whacked because he disrespected Darlene
Esai Morales.
2:09 one of my favorites scenes of the movie
They left out the best part; when Gabriel finds the lighter in his pocket instead of the 🔑 😅..ETHAAAN!😡
I thought he’s going to scream RITCHIE!!!!!!!!!!!
This is by far my favourite scene in the movie besides of course the biggest stunt in cinema history. Lorne Barfe's score here the climatic ending from here on made me on the edge of my seat. Watching this scene in IMAX was the best feeling ever.
Speaking of Esai Morales' character Gabriel, that man came to slay and of course, slay. He was quite fashionable throughout the film. This video is a 10/10. The effort put into it, is extraordinary.
Major props to you guys for uploading all these scenes as soon as it's out on digital 🔥🔥
I never get sick of watching a good train fight, and this one’s no exception!
It’s better than the one from M:I ‘96, and almost as good as the ones from The Wolverine, Skyfall, and my personal favorite: the one from Broken Arrow!
John woo ran so Hollywood could walk with crutches
Guy drops from a speeding train and comes to a full stop in the bed of a truck. His body would have been traveling the speed of the train at impact.
Ya man I was surprised no one else noticed. It’s the only thing I didn’t like about the movie. The only thing
Newton is rolling in his grave
Ah yes as if people forget that time Ethan used an explosion to keep up with a train in 1996
@@Villenueve1101 Or when he used his feet to skid on a motorcycle
Relax people it doesn't always have to be a physics lesson in movies
Sometimes just plainly watch stuff without being oversmart
Absolutely loved this fight
One of my fav scenes on mission impossible
Thanks so much for uploading this video!!!😊😁😁❤
2:07 tom cruise would have died finally if the villian didn't bent down.
He still have time🤔
Despite the media description of him. He's entertaining us still since legend. He's my favorite actor/artist. And he's always been so great at his art form. I value his movies 🎬 tremendously. Keep um coming tom
.
Man eathan got Gabriel really good when he swiped the key .
At what part does he do that?
@@conn_man_249Guessing when he had the knife to his throat and was "trying" to kill him. I'm guessing Ethan was pretending to try and kill him so he could swipe the key without Gabriel noticing.
cant wait for the next one where gabriel and cruise bump into each other 5 more times and the key switches owner 🤣
Masterpiece
The sound when wearing headphones at max volume… just like IMAX…
Wrong
Greatest moment ever i love this ❤❤❤❤❤
3:48 Batman: He won’t kill you, but he hasn’t have to keep you safe.
I'm a fan of Esai Morales since he played Deathstroke in the Titans show!
4:43 physics fell out just like him
Everyone complains about the physics, but that's what would happen if you fall off a moving train at a fast pace. You wouldn't fall straight down instantly, it'd be more like a diagonal thing... which is what they did. They did the physics right, dude, just replay the clip and you'll see him fall at an angle.
@@diamond_house9608 i haven't studied physics so i might be wrong, but i think gabriel's horizontal speed when falling should be the same as the train minus any friction generated by the air, so in other words, gabriel is falling diagonally, meanwhile he is moving horizontally at like two hundred kilometres per hour. he would likely either die or be in the hospital for a very long time whether he manages to ''land'' in the car or not, because said ''landing'' would not go very smoothly due to his horizontal speed
@@Fhsjajwvhqajdbwh When you're on a vehicle that is moving quickly and you fall off, rather than jump off, you will go diagonally. However, I completely agree that he should be in the hospital for a long time for landing in the cart, even though it was soft.
This is a series that has characters climb buildings with sticky gloves and swing across buildings like they are freaking Tarzan 😂
@@DrShemp-sv6gf at least that movie was kinda believable
When Gabriel realizes that Hunt had pick the key from his pocket.
I was waiting for Gabriel to shout.... RICHIEEEEEE 😂😂😂😂
I immediately thought of Wrath Of Khan, hahaha.
I love that Gabriel was Ethan’s first villain before Solomon Lane, Owen Davian, Sean Ambrose and before even Jim Phelps. You can see and feel that they have a deep and personal history. A mutual hatred for one another
Gabriel needed a super computer to time his fall into the truck perfectly to escape, but Ethan only needed his guts feeling to crash into the side of the train to save Grace!
I love that Gabriel was Ethan’s first villain before even Lane or Owen Davian
When I watched this scene in the movie, I just thought wtf did Gabriel had unlimited knife in his suit lol
I love this fight especially fighting on top of the train
Pure cinema at 2:09 🥹😱
Why bad guys always have to bring knifes to the fight scenes!?
Hard to believe both actors are 60 years old.
stunt doubles. lol
Bro that's not stunt double if I saw the BTS properly ....the train is running very slow and both were fighting on train with harness if I remember correctly@@yokiryuchan7655
@@yokiryuchan7655 not for tom cruise tho
Esai was a tremendous addition to the franchise. Evil but calculating, charming and suave.
After Beiber’s challenge, they need to work in a Tom vs Justin fight scene into the next MI.
The biggest mistake that this film made was faking Ilsas death in the first 15 mins and then kill her off halfway through by a villain who really isn’t that scary The Entity is what’s scary
Ilsa deserves better tbh
I thought it was a ploy to decieve entity throughout the movie.
But that came from the fact that I heard the rumour before watching this movie that ethan and ilsa have been reunited at the end of movie for a happy ending.
Horrid decision that really soured an otherwise solid film for me.
I have never seen such disrespect since when Robert Towne and Brian DePalma thought it cool to shit on Peter Grave’s legacy and make Jim Phelps a irredeemable villain
This final fight is 100x better than Fallout's final fight
Especially this scene 1:28
Both the bathroom fight and the cliff fight on Fallout easily top this one
@@papichulobr what I mean is the final fight of Dead Reckoning is way better than the final fight of Fallout. But yeah still can't top that bathroom fight
Yeah... the final fight with Walker was too short IMO. Still love Fallout though.
But Fallout was a way better movie than Dead Reckoning
Tom Cruise Vs Esai Morales
❤ cool
In the train tunnel is honestly terrifying. To my imagination:
Train's horn=women screaming
Wind rushing=under the flood
Red lights= emergency vehicles rushing everywhere
Like dwelling in such agonizing hallucinations. Incredible symbolism.
They probably weren’t symbolising that when they made this movie, but hey u can have ur own outlook on anything so who am I to judge
3:20
Gabriel: What is your mission?
Ethan: Force you to tell me what the key unlocks and take it out.
Gabriel: You're about to fail that mission.
Terminator reference? And honestly, if Gabriel was going to win, he should have just told Ethan to finish him instead of telling him that only he knows what the key unlocks.
@@SolCresta3405 Exactly, Terminator. Maybe he wanted to see if Ethan let the guard down.
Yes.@@EddieBrockVenom
That girl would've told him anyways. I think he told him that "I'm the only one who knows" because he knew that woman would betray him. This keeps Gabriel alive. @@SolCresta3405
@@Jake-jm1pp Yes.
The screenwriter sold this scene both for this movie and the latest Indiana Jones..
This fight reminds of lou diamond Phillips and mark whalberg in the Big hit in the video store.
Those two agents trying to catch ethan was the best part of this whole movie
Tom: get a bunch of old actors so I can look younger in comparison.
Tom Cruise and the guy he's fighting are the same age you know.
Gabriel took Ilsa down easily but struggled with Ethan here
Ethan wasn’t one to have true animosity towards anyone. But Gabriel here changed that. Showing Ethan what he is truly capable of.
Lorne Balfe cooking
4:02 pisses me off!!
Part 2 theory: Degas may support Ethan on his mission. Maverick and Coyote
He better after the train fiasco and Paris being alive, hopefully he and his partner learn about Gabriel and they help Ethan kill The Entity
I have a feeling him, Briggs, Paris, and Grace are gonna be the new IMF team at the end of the film. Two of the characters (Paris and Briggs) share last names with agents from the original TV series while the latter two are obvious setups
@@vs-sr maybe he didn't realize Gabriel is the bad guy and if he killed him he would've never found out what the key unlocks. Anyway, no one knew Paris was still alive to share that data.
i wanna see some old faces. like the team members from 3 and 4. to this day ghost protocol is still my favorite, because you could feel the team job the most. everybody had their turn to be badass instead of being ethans colorful sidekicks.
first 20 seconds is wrestlemania intro
Gotta say this movie was awesome! But, I really don’t think it was better then Ghost Protocol-Fallout. Maybe because it’s Part 1, but it seemed a bit predictable. Fallout is the best film out of all of them so far for sure, could have easily been the ending. Happy to get more of these films but something was missing in this one and I can’t really point out what it was
I will never understand why you kids overhype Fallout so much. Is it all because of the Superman?
Man i am wondering what type of sequences ending were going to have for part two for Gabriel vs Ethan rematch
Probably gonna be Grace who will do the deed and Ethan can do nothing but either witness her die or take his place as a killer either way he loses both Ilsa and Grace
IS that the guy from La Bamba?
Yes
And bad boys with Sean penn
I hope we see these fleas decide to look into who Gabriel is after the train fiasco in Dead Reckoning Part 2
Hayley Atwell is so beautiful! ❤😻😘😍💕💗👠
I just realized why color grading looks substantially worse than previous films - they shot this one on digital.
Agent Carter meets Ethan Hunt.
Gabriel is like Blowfelt from Bond films 😅
I don't like Shea Wigham's character that much. He might be willing to violate his oath to achieve whatever personal vendetta he has against Ethan Hunt.
He might be working for the Entity
What does he have against Hunt anyway? Based on how he acts it's like this is beyond his duty to get him
I'm not sure who I hate the most: Captain George Stacy (Across the Spider-Verse) or agent Briggs. Shea Whigham plays both.
Tom has the advantage, he doesn’t have to duck much………
DEL from ozark
impossible 7 has become a comedy film
so close to kill him but he needs the key
3:42 That damn smile, so you have chosen death huh?!.
He smiles because he is the only one who knows what the key unlocks and influence Ethan not to kill him. And the reason why ethan trying stabbed him probably because Gabriel kill ilsa and Marie.
@@strikerdanger1417 So it angered Ethan that he took it so personally and wanted to stab Gabriel to death.
@@antonius521 yea indeed.
@@strikerdanger1417 isn't that a little bit counterproductive, I mean Luther said he shouldn't depart from the plan because the Entity factored in the scenario of Gabriel's death.
@@antonius521he literally only did that, to distract him so he can swipe the key bro bro.
MI one vibes 😮
The fall into the truck is just bad
Not as bad as that godawful Captain Kirk imitation Gabriel does afterwards…. 😂
1:56
I love how they totally ripped off the opening train sequence from Dial of Destiny with this fight, especially the tunnel bit.
The ending 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Gabriel is the bully that comes back in your life 20-30 years later and with whom you need to settle the score once and for all
Gabriel vs Solomon Lane (from Rogue Nation and Fallout), who wins?
I just didn't liked that they killed Lisa off just like that. By a normal villain.
what happened to physics?
Ethan vs Deathstroke
02:30 crab crawl slash technique, then 02:55 nintendo ice climbers slash technique
Gabriel from Supernatural?
Fake death right? please say it yes 🥺
Where is his Oboe?
If Briggs and Degas didn't try messing with Ethan, Gabriel should've been killed so The Entity is the only one he has to deal with for part 2
Killing Gabriel was not the objective. If Ethan killed Gabriel, the mission would have failed and the Entity would have won. You have to remember the Entity was counting on either Ethan to die on the train or Ethan kills Gabriel.
4:43 - Why did Ethan yell "NO!" when Gabriel jumped off the train? I thought the goal of this mission was to get the key and escape the train, not kill Gabriel... Because if Ethan killed Gabriel, the mission would be a failure because that's exactly what the Entity wants.
mission was to get gabriel alive because he only know what the key unlocks
Yeah, but at least he got the key, right? That's what matters. This was never about getting Gabriel, it was about getting the key.@@_arnavmathur
@@_arnavmathurYou heard what Luther said to Ethan prior to the mission, right? “Get the key, get off the train, *ALIVE,* do *NOT* kill Gabriel. And do not, I repeat, do *NOT* alter the plan.”
He was about to kill Gabriel untill Briggs stopped him. Just because he spared him his life doesn't mean he still doesn't want to put him in the jail.
@@Ali-xs2ij Yeah, but again, killing Gabriel would result in the mission failing. And knowing the Entity, it definitely wouldn’t want Ethan to take Gabriel in.
Gabriel jumps into a truck
Forget physics and just enjoy it!

Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 and John Wick Chapter 4 are my favorite action movies of the year.
I love all Mission Impossible films even the second movie I enjoy to watch it also John Wick every single chapter is amazing.
James Bond's No Time To Die is a big disappointing movie for me. No nearly good as MI7 and JW4.
Which did u prefer? I have my answer, u tell me yours first
Nah they are all good movies, the villains were all good too
Hey. No time to die is an awesome movie.
@@spider-man2153 Hey my man, u didn’t fancy replying to that other comment we mentioned u in. What happened? U realised u were wrong and ragequit?
No time to die is just a michael bay-fest movie while mi dead reckoning part one and john wick chapter 4 are very similar
This scene is copied from various other train sequences - Octopussy (1983), The Wolverine (2013), Skyfall (2012)

@@sergeymeshkov yes that one too
Uncharted 2 as well
@@vs.akshaybharadwaj3409oh i've not seen it
I love the later MI movies, but i think this one is a big step backwards compared to Fallout. The train sequence has some fast and furious feel i don't like so much( too over the top with some visible CGI). Fallout was a bit over top in the action department, but still believable and well shot..
Wanna see a cool train sequence??? Extraction 2
Fast And Furious? And CG? Maybe in the tunnel, but the entire fight was practical being shot on a moving train built specifically for this scene and I’m surprised you didn’t see it being another callback to the first MI film when Ethan fights Jim Phelps at the end.
@@ytuser_3122all of the falling train carts are clearly cgi
Bruh. They filmed this entire train sequence practically. Didn’t you not see the behind the scenes videos and interviews saying that Tom cruise wanted everything to be practical? Well it was all practical. Tom cruise even said that using cgi doesn’t make a movie authentic. And has “a fast and furious” feel? No. It doesn’t.
@@ughugh351no. It wasn’t. They actually built the trains from scratch. The director even said “if we used cgi, it wouldn’t look right. So we built the entire train from scratch and filmed them crashing down”. Proof that they didn’t use cg at all.

The closeup shot of the train cart at 1:10 is obviously CGI. It looks good though.
Scientology vs Vatican
3:07 who in their right minds scripted this?
That's completely normal, depending on the material the train is made out of. You can't climb up, so what do you do? You have to use your knife to try and climb up... it's how people climb mountains, dude. Whoever scripted that is actually good at research.
why do people that are supposed to be professinoally trained to fight still throw haymakers? amatuers choreographing the fights.
Gabriel Gabriel…. Its 10 out of 10😈
am I the only one who thought it was lame
Tbh it's just the first mission impossible finale act but also a lot of cut
@@davidthirugnanakumar7888 I had high expectations from Tom Cruise seeing his past movies. I guess he is getting old now
It sucked, can't believe the same people people behind the last one worked on this film. Only difference is they had another writer.
This film felt it was written by AI
Feels bad as someone who thoroughly enjoyed Fallout (and the plot didn't even need to be too great)
The jump onto the truck was lame, even if he did it perfectly, he would have been going 100+ mph and smashed into the truck bed and into the inside of the truck bed probably dying
This fight could have been paced better..
You must be Spielberg
The problem is that they cut very often. Takes you out of the realism
@@Patrickbodhi9211 Maybe I am🤭. This fight was longer actually. They removed some portions for the theatre cut.
@@carlossap Exactly. It was too distracting. The moment you get warm up and excited or feel the tension, they suddenly cut into random moments. Never felt the tension as intended.
My only complain is that the fight could have been longer, but the shots are realy good. Especialy the under the tunnel section
After all, I don't think Gabriel is strong enough to defeat Ilsa. So I'm guessing that there's a strong theory that Rebecca wanted to leave the MI series, which led to Ilsa's death like that. So I’m very disappointed because I wanted to see Ilsa's solo movie... (´ ∩`。)
Well she’s no longer in Dune so they should bring her back because I love the actress Rebecca Ferguson I think the franchise peaked with her plus she stabbed Gabriel in the stomach in Venice just not fatally so I guess he was still recovering during the fight which is why Ethan was OP here
My prediction for 8 would be Ethan and Benji pursue Gabriel and force him to cooperate before The Entity kills him for losing the key which might be a risky move since now Benji is no longer a techie he’s Ethan’s partner so Gabriel is likely to kill Benji the moment they let their guard down
Well, he managed to kill her.
Most disappointing film imo
Why do they have to make Esai Morales the bad guy? He’s so super gorgeous.
I'm just glad to see him in an important role in a major motion picture. It's a shame the movie didn't do that great.
I though John Wick was the god of death
Love seeing esai whoop ass but this shit is awkward
The Movie was so Amazing, but one thing the writers Should’ve done Was Give Gabriel a Line just before falling off the train and onto the Truck. He would’ve Said,
“Sorry Ethan, But, I Win!”
And then Gabriel's triumph gets shattered when he discovers Ethan pickpocketed him.
