    The president cannot eat food from a restaurant. If the president wants to order food, the secret service orders it and has it sent to a different address so that no one knows it is for the president. Whenever you see a president with a coffee or doughnut in public, it is just for the photo. The president even has a food taster in the White House. He or she tastes all the president's meals first so that no one can poison him. And when the cooks are preparing the meal, the secret service is there watching every move. If the president needs to go to a official dinner overseas, the secret service brings the president's cooks with them to prepare the meal. There are videos on TH-cam that explain the things presidents can and cannot do once elected. They also can never drive a car again in public. George Bush Jr said the worst part of being a president is not being allowed to drive his cars and trucks on the road. He likes to stay at his ranch in Texas just because he can drive his pickup around the ranch. But if he wants to go a BBQ place, he cannot drive nor eat.

    • @PlanetEarth3141
      @PlanetEarth3141 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      @@420johonig No, it's mostly true. Yes it's not ALL true. eLEUSA is close, but still somewhat wrong. Whoever is President has no dedicated food tester in the white house for poison protection. There is a whole kitchen staff for all cooking functions at the white house. They are all very carefully background tested and usually work through consecutive administrations regardless of who gets elected.
      As such they are all very well qualified, known and very safe. They as primo chefs would taste their own preparations anyway and sample more cooks items, so there is no need for a dedicated poison preventer. The ingredients themselves come from known and trusted suppliers who can't hire anyone unknown or hasn't been checked, so it's a multi hierarchial prevention and disease process.
      Furthermore, while presidents could insist on driving a normal car it's pointless as they are chauffeured wherever they go as we all know so it's just not practical for the president to drive.
      You might have seen Jay Leno drive the president in one of his own collectibles. They drove a few times slowly around the Rose Garden area to idle the time efficiently for the interview and fun in that episode. So that proves that things are possible and happens.
      Bush on his ranch drives himself in his pickup and tractors, etc. The whole ranch is well protected and when he does go to town he eats at various public restaurants that have good history, passed all relevant tests and he's among pretty documented locals. It's pretty flexible there.
      It's possible you could be eating in his local area and have George come in and eat near you. The people there are Texans, love George and would not tolerate a problem or not protect him or even is secret service guys. They pride themselves on doing their jobs well.

    Presidents pay for the food they, their families & personal guests eat at the White House. The only food covered by taxpayer dollars is for state dinners. They also pay for all personal items, like toothpaste, clothing, etc. They can wear donated clothing to a function but cannot personally keep it. It goes to the National Archives. The chefs are paid by the federal goverment. Utilities, transportation, security, & medical care are also taxpayer paid.

And, when I came out the floor lamp was on and the ceiling light was off. I was all by myself and all the doors were locked. No way anyone could have snuck in and done it. I was only out of the room for 30 seconds. The floor lamp has a round knob that clicks and takes a little strength to turn it. No way it could have accidentally turned on.

    I have no idea about ghosts. I can't say I believe in it, but I can't say anything about it being impossible that something we aren't aware of exists in some way. Surely not in a personified "ghost" entity kinda way, but.. energies or something.
    After all, before we figured out radiowaves, I'm sure it would've been nonsense if anyone talked about em and voices just travelling huge distances and then coming out of boxes called radios, or TV's.... or having all the info and entertainment in a smaller-than-a-deck-of-cards device that we all carry in our pockets lol.
    I guess what I'm mostly fascinated about in a legitimate way, is how all energy transfers from one thing to another in everything. Then what happens at the exact time of a life ending? Sure most of our body rotting, decomposing, being eaten by worms or whatever is an energy transferr there and then in one way or another, but how about that moment your life is in you and when it no longer isn't... some part changes and some energy clearly leaves. In what way, what form, what medium..... I can not say that I know anything about that. I also don't wanna assume to know.
    At least it's a fascinating idea and often fun fiction, if nothing else ;)

      @sarcasm-83 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      (Oh and just in case anyone is interested, I'll just leave these experiences I mentioned here:
      Family left to visit somewhere and we always had to lure our dog with snacks to the kitchen so we get the kitchen door closed, then can grab our bags and all from the vestibule and lock the doors and such. Well, we did that, locked everything.
      Came back after our visit and the dog was in the middle of the yard. Wagging it's tail happily when we arrived and came to greet us. Every window was closed, the doors were locked, no one else had a key, there had been no break-in. We have often *joked* that my mother's father, who loved animals, "let the dog out"... as he passed away in that house.
      -----
      Another weird occurance is what I didn't see with my own eyes, but did believe and partially witness; My mother was cooking in the same houses kitchen and then shouted to my father to let him know that the food was ready... she figured he didn't hear, as he was outside, and started walking towards the terrace outside to let him know, but in the vestibule, she saw a pair of big men's rubber boots turn the corner of a spiral staircase upstairs, yelled after him "Didn't you hear, the food is ready" ... and there was no reply. She kept shouting and that's when my father replied from outside of the house. She was shocked immediately and wondered who had just walked upstairs then.
      My father first, and then her and me went to check the upstairs and there was no one there. There is no way out from the upstais, except the fire stairs, but the window to those stairs was locked from the inside. To this day it remains another mystery of who's heels she saw, or if somehow she just saw things, but she even says having heard the creaks of the stairs as the steps went on...
      * shrug *
      -----
      Personally, I've only seen a small floating light floating above the bathroom floor, kinda circling around like a bat catching bugs near the surface of a lake.... I was a kid back then, but I called my mother to come and see it and she saw it too. We both stared at it, then I put the lights on and we couldn't see anything. I shut the lights again and it was there, going back and forth near the ground... about the size of your thumbtip, glowing a little, kinda bluishgreen... didn't emit a lot of light... I then flicked the lights on again, then off and it was gone.
      I believe it must have been some sort of a small ball-lightning electricity thing that was only visible in the dark as it was so small..? Either way, I've never thought about that as some spirit or anything. Just an odd phenomena.. one which I would not likely even believe having seen if my mother wasn't there to see it too after I called her to come and see it and we both remember it to this day.)

      I know a few professional stand up comedians. When they all started out at an open mic night or played small clubs with just a handful of drunks in the crowd. They got heckled, but they all soon figured out they had better be ready to shut a heckler down. A heckler has a very limited arsonal, while the Comedian has heard it all before. The best Comedians will go into attack mode on the heckler and the rest of the crowd loves that.

    There were 3 presidents that didn't take a salary. George Washington, President John F Kennedy and Trump. I think Trump accepted a dollar, the rest went to charity.

    I'm actually sad this is the version of that first lady speech they saw. The good version is when he explains WHY he doesn't like first ladies, and talks about "The First Male first lady" and then we he is inside the whitehouse he needs to shut his trap since he didn't get elected.

    No offense, but isn't saying, "there's too many things that have happened for me not to believe in ghosts" a classic argument from ignorance fallacy? "I can't explain X. You can't explain X. Therefore ghosts exist." 😊

    There's more ways for a president to earn money than their salary, the most common being speaking fees. Former presidents can make around half a million dollars for a 45 minute speech.

    It's the food for the private quarters upstairs. Anything down stairs with guests the government pays for. I think they brew the beer. They did when Obama was president.

      All meals except for state meals where he is hosting foreign dignitaries but yes.whats funny and I think there is a video on TH-cam. They make a grocery list per week for their food then requests on meals and the white house chef makes them and bills them for it

    Aiden, ghosts are real! I have witnessed many things not attributed to 'live human' interaction! The night my father died 19 years ago, his wheelchair, which was pushed under the dining room table, pushed out and around, like someone was sitting in it, pushed it back with it's feet, and around, to look at me as I walked into the room! I stared for several seconds at the chair, said "ohhhkkkkayyyyy" turned around and walked out of the room!

    90% of Dutch street language isn't Dutch but Surinamese, waggie, barkie, tata, skeer, no spang , wierie, so you guys are actually learning foreign words and not Dutch slang witch doesn't exist, American slang is based of ebonics that was made main stream.
