- S.H. Monster Arts Godzilla (Birth Ver.)! Godzilla (Birth Ver.) is another fantastic release in the S.H. Monster Arts line. Godzilla has a fantastic sculpt, fantastic paint applications, great accessories, and a great range of articulation. I think is figure is now the definitive representation of the Heisei Era Godzilla. I absolutely recommend that everyone pick this figure up!

This is officially the first sh.monster arts figure I own and to start the line off, looks amazing and no joke taken sh.monster arts is better than NECA on most figures. 10/10 figure
yeah sh monsterarts is better but their prices are terrible.
+Anferny Crab I totally agree but like how "The Geek Chest" said if they are new figures get them soon as they come out new don't wait because their prices will go higher than they were before after the come back online after being out of stock, luckily I was able to get the awaken version shin Godzilla it looks better than the original figure and has a ton of stuff with it so I say its worth the $200 dollars in my opinion.
Yeah It is good to get them while they are new. little godzilla has tripled in price on amazon from the 40 I got it at to now around 120.

hello DiegoDoom i recently bought this figure at g fest from this guys table before the dealers room opened he said it was never opened when i got home and took him out he felt very loose where the torso connects with the lower body the slightest tug and he seperates from his lower half do you have a solution to this problem? after watching your vlog for the solutions you tried the floor polish well i dont have that so is there another way to tighten that torso joint?
+godzillaman2000 You could also use nail polish. When you opened your figure did you have to cut any take on the inner clam shell that holds the figure?

+christian pingol I would have to say 1995 rebirth. The eye issue with G14 is still a gamble, unless you are good at customizing and can fix the lazy eye yourself.

Wth man, it's clearly godzilla jr, he absorb all the radiation of burning godzilla, when the meltdown happened, he's back to life, at the end of godzilla vs destoroyah is not ghost godzilla, it's godzilla jr, even toho and wikizilla confirmed it

This list is constantly changing, so I can not limit it to just one. My favorites are Kiryu, G2k, G95(Birth), Battra Larva,and Destoroyah.

the fact that this Godzilla comes standard with the Red-Spiral Ray makes me think that Junior is now more powerful than the original Godzilla was pre-meltdown

The DesuGoji suit from Godzilla vs Destroyah was the MogeGoji suit from Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla, but with little tiny lightbulbs illuminating it and giving it that "meltdown look". And the revived Junior at the end after he absorbs the radiation is the DesuGoji with all the lightbulbs turned off... Basically the first Godzilla SH MonsterArts and this one should be almost identical, save a few bulkier parts here and there on Junior.
No shit sherlock you could tell its the desu goji suit if you look closely at his chest(at the end) you can see the damage from destroyah laser horn. And who dosent know that the desu goji suit is the same as the moge goji suit.
I still have the First Release Heisei Godzilla. What would you recommend I do if his joints become very stiff?
Goji73 Thanks for Watching! I'm not really sure of a good tip to loosen up the joints permanently. I have heard of people using some type of oil,but I'm not sure I would do that. I would be afraid it would mess up the figure.

use a hair dryer it heats up the joints and makes them move easier.

I recently started collecting this line and so far I've got Birth Goji, DesuGoji, Destoroyah, MechaGodzilla II and Godzilla 2014. You do a great job with these videos and it just makes me more excited for picking future ones up. Well done sir!

The scene where this certain design was shown in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah pretty much imprinted this look as the definite Godzilla in my mind. No other Godzilla has this much emotion attached to it and I can't wait for this to come overseas this month (as 'Godzilla Heisei')!

This was my first Monster arts figure I bought him 4 years ago for $50 on Amazon I had no idea what Monster arts even was now I know it was definitely a great purchase especially for that price.

Okay one question what's the diff between the regular godzilla and birth version the look almost identical the only diff I found was the that the birth versions neck is shorter someone help me out!?
Still a lot better than 2014 goji he seems very disappointing so gettin this one he's just another heisei goji but if ya wanna pretend he's junior that's fine but the box says godzilla not adult junior

You can fix the gap. Just take the legs off and fix the ball joint. Just watch the others video review and you see.

How come i cant move my upper chest, i can only move my stomach? The 2nd spine in the middle interferes with the 3rd spine.
***** i heard that sh monster arts was making another repaint of the fire rodan and also a godzilla 2014 with a atomic breath piece and g2014 will have the blue spines and also will include a severed female muto head for the accessory

I just got this one two days ago 100% complete.
They still are 😂 check your eyes do you see the Godzilla 2019 the detail is completely outstanding.
@Fotes & oats they haven’t made any new sculpts for Kaiju other than goji and Mechagodzilla. And the prices have skyrocketed.
Those spines aren't bone-white, they are definitely grey. I just got my figure and they are grey.
Hey Diego Doom I have been following your SH Monster arts reviews since the beginning and I love them you are probably one of the best reviewers out there I have seen i would like to suggest in your next review you should put them in fight poses with other monsters that would make it really cool to see and could you please do neon genisis evagelian reviews that would make this channel even more awesome

His legs look gross
PLEASE tell me a good way to clean the dust between and in the skin on this figure! It would be a BIG help and very appreciated!
Use a soft thin bristle paint brush to dust the figure. The fine thin bristles should be able to get in between the scales.

Hey, when i got my figure of this, when i took it out of the box, my Godzilla's tail keeps falling off with even the slightest tap. it falls off at the third segment piece. Is there anything or anyway i can fix this so it stops falling off. I could really use your advice DiegoDoom
+Zeon Kaiju's Game Station You can use a thin coat of nail poilish or super glue to the socket to add friction to keep the tail in.

I got this one the other day. However it was in used condition. So I did not get the fiery base stand or atomic breath piece unfortunately. But I did get the box and spare hand pieces. This is probably the most beautiful SH MonsterArts Heisei Godzilla out of all of them!

I begin collecting the Neca Godzilla Figures and so far I got Godzilla 2014, Godzilla 1994, Godzilla 1985 and now since im waiting for more Neca Godzilla line to be release due to Shipping strike occurred a month ago. I took your advice and I got the Birth Goji and I love it, Shame that I can t afford for Burning Goji. But for me, it s similar figure, keep it up and good job for making a great review.

Have you had any issues with this figure? Especially with the tail? My figures tail keeps falling off, it's very sensitive to touch...

Man youre lucky to get this one. Im looking for one right now theyre starting at 170-220$. So depreessing that i missed it
I got mine for $193. It is a bit pricey.
I got a problem. When I got this figure my Godzilla's right foot popped off and I'm having trouble getting it back on.
Try heating up the socket and then reattaching the foot before it cools off.
i got gbis figure but for some reason the alternate hands, which i think is so cool, won't go all the way in idk why i pushed it in all the way but didn't wanna put too much force thought i would break the ball joint for it
Use a hair dryer to heat up the socket and then attach them. If you find them hard to remove as well, you might have to always use a hair dryer to swap hands. I know that can be annoying, but it's a way to protect your figure.
