16:30 nf gets away without cursing and still carrying that emotion because, if you haven't noticed yet, in almost of his tracks he puts that emotion into his voice. He will leave a voice crack in a recording if it adds too it, he'll let it not be perfect if it makes it emotional. Throughout this song, he's practically YELLING the entire time, you can hear the strain in his voice at times and you can feel it in the track. He's great at making you feel everything he wants you to, angst and all
I prefer his way. I find rap to be a little too vulgar as someone who never listened to rap at all. NF brought me into it and I'm staying with him.

Honestly my favorite lyrics at this moment in my life
Two day ago was the 1st. time I heard NF. Already I've downloaded his album "Therapy." I know every feeling this brother feels, from his mom and pills to the abuse. I got out of my environment and expressed it in other ways (drugs, alcohol, sex, etc.) Saw my way into the light as well, through God. I feel his pain. Through his music he sees a way out. I vented my issues through self loathing and violence. The REAL difference between Nat and me is I'm 62 years old and a Marine. Age is not a deterrent to depression, anxiety and pain... Never give up. (I hope this helps somebody)

I must've heard this song hundreds of times back when it first came out and you out here point out double entendres and wordplays that I COMPLETELY missed. Can't believe as a fan of NF for seven years that I would have completely missed the true extent of NF's writing prowess, that made him very respected in the Christian Rap circles, as well as now inspiring rappers nowadays.

I’m only subscribed for his reactions to NF. I don’t know if Knox has done greenlights yet, if he hasn’t I definitely want to see his reaction to that song and the music video.
I started here because of his NF reactions, but you should really watch all of his other ones too. Knox has me appreciating so many other artist I probably wouldn’t have ever given a chance. NF is still the GOAT to me. I’m here as fast as I can when I see a new reaction from him!

I say his album comes out in July 15, because if you look back on the very ending of PAID MY DUES where NF is drawing "LOST" on the peice of paper, it has a date written on it. Now it may sound strange but just look at the word "LOST" upside down and it reveals the numbers 1507... meaning the 07 is the 7th month of this year and the 15 means the 15th of that month, I might be wrong about this but it's getting close to being July and it could be possible. Who knows 🤷🏿♂️
