Always love your NF reactions, thank you Knox! New Fri night cypher is a mixed bag but Em has that new moon man slim shady alien vibe worth checking out (I'm calling it the cool calm and collected SAVAGE SLIM!) ... it's angry but crystal clear easy to follow... seems like a new style for him.
Here are all the visual references in this song: "Intro" - Caution tape, location, Kicked chair "I Just Wanna Know" - Car crash with paramedics "Wake Up" - Man raking leaves "Therapy Session" - Parents fighting with kid behind couch, masked family, kid cutting his wrists next to the plane "How Could You Leave Us" - little NF, NF's mom sitting next to him on the bed, car "Real" - Crashed plane "Outcast" - Keys (they also represent the keys to unlock his mind thus closing the chapter of Perception album) There are many of references NF made in his lyrics, which is why we have Knox.
I feel like you caught him say “BEETOVEN” but not the next part where he said he’s “FEELIN THE MUSIC” because Beetoven was deaf and had to put the piano on the floor to feel the notes
"It's not 'cause I'm a Rap God I don't need you people to bow to me" Even though he is so successful he considers himself no more human then we are This is the reason we like him even more
Another big hit about this song, is how he, on multiple occasions, loudly announces “IM HOME.” This can be taken as he’s back at home, releasing this album, back home in the rap game. But one of the major messages in NF’s music, is he is talking to the kids out there struggling, the kids who are going through what he went through. As he says, “this is for the kids who feel like they live at the bottom, and every day of their lives feels like it’s darker than Halloween.” Imagine these kids at home, being abused by their parents, as portrayed in the video, how do they feel when their parents arrive home? The fear struck into them when their parents return and announce “I’m home!” Nate here uses that same phrase “I’m home,” to instead bring hope and light to these kids. Nate is home, home with you. “You’re not alone out there, look around you, we got a lot of fans in here.” It’s an amazing way Nate gets deep and personal with his listeners, and tries to make their lives a little less dark.
One thing a lot of people miss mainly because they don't do his catalog in order but when he said in the beginning of this song I wrote this whole album while I was levitating he pulled that back together when he did his newest song Paid my dues... in the very beginning of the video he's levitating on the couch while he's rapping...
I love that part of Paid My Dues! He’s always throwing nuggets into his songs and videos for those who really know his music. It’s exactly what you think of the second you see him levitating on the couch. Even people who “go in order” are going to miss it though because it’s just one line in a song. But for fans that listen to his music all the time, those things are for them.
@@-pictures8602 It definitely isn't a stretch, It's something Nate likes to do. He basically said I wrote this album while I was levitating and shown it visually on paid my dues, like he was drowning in let you down, and his hand was reaching up for help, and next album in "trauma" he says "Grab my hand I'm drowning..." and there are many more like these.
The reason I love NF is because It was always hard for me to explain how I was feeling or the things going through my head. But every word NF spoke in his rap helped me to understand what I was going through and it helped me to realize I’m not the only one who has felt those things
i was never a fan of rap. in fact i was listening to rock/metal only. when i doscovered NF i absolutely started loving it. hes so unique and every song has a piece that surpsrise me even when its the 30th time i listened to that song. hes absolute legend
Back in high school the only music I listened to was rock, and very little rap (mainly Eminem, all the guys he was rapping with, and DMX) then after I discovered NF on my Eminem pandora station and making a NF pandora station I started steering more towards Christian rappers! I also listen to lyricists like Tech Nine, Token, Hopsin! If you haven't discovered some of the Christian rappers yet give them a try Lecrae, Ivan B, and Andy Mineo are my other favorites like NF!
I was in middle of binging "Cobra Kai' and saw you reacted to "Outro" I had to pause and watch! One of my all time fav videos & songs by NF. I couldn't wait to see your reaction. Kinda sad you missed all meanings of visuals but trying to watch an NF video not in order is like jumping in a TV series in the middle and expecting to understand it all...you're not 😂 BUT amazing break down of his lyrics as ALWAYS!
Actually "outcast" was also Perception and "outro" was the last song in that album. By the way that kid at the end cutting his wrists was also from "therapy session". Great reaction man it's not anyone that understands NF's mind and messages!!
outro is weird because it was released awhile before perception. But even though it was the original fans intro to the Perception album its also the outro to that same album and also the outro to his smaller career since he grew huge after this song. Honestly the song has gotten more meaning over time which is CRAZY
When you really consider it. Nate sitting in the plane rapping “this is for the kids feeling like they live at the bottom and every day of their lives feels like it’s darker than Halloween. You ain’t alone out there...” with the kid from therapy session stuck on the outside of the plane alone is such a powerful powerful image. Nate is so insanely aware of why he makes his music and who for and I LOVE that he embraces that. Like come join us. We’re here. There’s a lot of us. It’s almost as powerful as the image of him and his mom from this. Maybe as powerful just different. NF man. He is hopefully dropping heat soon. Posted a photo of his timbs alone in this dirt that almost looks like the area of The Search music video.
Outcast and Outro are actually both on the perception album. He released Outro before the album came out, but it appeared on the perception album. It wrapped up the first 2 albums, and then led into outcast, which is why he's holding the keys that he's locked in the cage with on outcast at the end of this record!
13:52 is the boy from Therapy Session leaning on the plane slitting his wrists Yeah, I gotta say like a month ago I was talking to fans And one of them pulled me aside and said "We never met but I swear that you know who I am I been through a lot I don't know how to express it to people Don't think that I can but I got that mansion CD on rotation That's real for me Nate, you do not understand" It's crazy for me Kids hit me up, say they slitting they wrists on the daily This music is more than you think
In case anyone missed how he connected a ton of past videos on this: ( this was written out so nice by one of NF fans on his page) 1) Caution tape (Intro 1) 0:04 2) Flipped over car and girl in neck brace (I just wanna know) 0:27 3) guy raking leaves (Wake up) 0:44 4) street from Intro 1, but it's night 5) the beat is from Intro 1, but backwards 6) kicks over a chair (Intro 1) 0:54 7) Abusive dad, little girl hiding behind couch (Therapy Session) 1:12 8) Family of 3 wearing white masks (Therapy Session) 1:24 9) Young NF (How could you leave us) sitting on the desk from Therapy Session 1:32 10) Picture of the Mansion album cover on desk 1:38 11) NF's mom on her bed smoking (How could you leave us) 1:52 12) Framed picture of angry tweet "@nfrealmusicI will slaughter your family" (Therapy Session) 2:01 13) Crashed plane (Real) and the chainsaw in the plane 2:15 14) Kid cutting his wrist (Therapy Session) 2:24 15) The keys for his mansion or for the cell in iOutcast 3:05 16) Shovel from intro 2 on the plane (back left) 2:17
Caution tape and kicking over the chair is from "intro 1" the car crash is from "I just want to know" Guy raking and his smashed TV is From "wake up" Abusive family, people with masks, kid cutting, picture of youtube post about slaughtering his family... from "therapy session" little Nate and mother from "how could you leave us" air plain and chain saw from "Real" then keys being a hint for the future "outcast" happy hunting for all these in the video!
Car crash from “I Just Wanna Know” The kid cutting his wrist was from “Therapy Session” i know you saw that but I couldn’t figure out if you knew where it was from Outro is the ending to perception... not the ending of Therapy Session 😅 You should check out moments I don’t think you’ve reacted to that album yet😃
Actually outro is the beginning of perception. "listen to intro 3 trying to kill my fear they'll get that in a minute..." Since outro comes before intro3
realmusictillthedaywedie -lilpitchytho- amber R. If you look at the release dates Outro came out before the album. I read that it was just supposed to be a single like No Name or Paid My Dues but in the end they decided to add it to the end of the album. I’ve always thought it was odd to add it to the end but it would also be odd to have the first track of an album called Outro. They probably shouldn’t have put it on the album considering the continuity but I guess they thought it was too good to leave off.
amandaleehopes there is a outro single though it’s like Let you Down,When I Grow Up,Green Lights,If You Want Love,The Search,Time,Lie,and a time few more but I don’t wanna seem like a jerk 😅 so yes it very much could have been the beginning and I see that I was just talking bout on the song list I wasn’t trying to start a argument 😅
One line that most reactors seem to miss as a reference and don’t comment on is when he says, “Listen to Intro III tryin’ to kill my fear! They’ll get that in a minute, we ‘bout to shatter the critics...”, giving that perspective that Intro III is about him killing off his fear. One of my favorite parts of the song.
Knox, I’ve been following you for almost 2 years. I have an addiction to hearing you break down songs but especially NF, him being my favorite rapper. Thank you for everything you do!
I think i say this after every one of his songs/videos ... but, this one was absolutely BRILLIANT!! At the end, when he shouts "I'm Home!" ... gives me goosebumps every dang time.
Great reaction Caution tape - intro 1&2 Car crash - I just want to know Guy raking leaves- Wake up Little kid - how could you leave us Kid cutting his wrist/ lady on the bed (his mom) -therapy session Airplane - real You can actually see the picture frame from therapy session that someone said they will kill him and his family
There are so many references to his previous discography on this music video I love it. The caution tape wrapped around him references his first two Intros. The girl and the car crash references "I Just Wanna Know". The guy raking the leaves references "Wake Up". The kid leaning on the plane wreckage is also a reference to "Therapy Session"
Also the kid cutting himself is from the beginning of the therapy session video... the street is from intro 1.. the flipped car is from i just wanna know, the guy raking is from wake up. Outro is such a great song and video. Loved your reaction
The girl in the brace with the paramedics is from 'I just want to know', the boy raking is from 'Wake Up'. After the wake up referece, he kicks the chair back to reference 'Intro I'. The girl hiding from the parents is in reference to 'Therapy Session' along with the people in the masks. The trash can and little boy sitting on the desk is either foreshadowing 'When I Grow Up' or referencing 'How Could You Leave Us' (Probably How Could You Leave Us). The woman smoking is in reference to 'How Could You Leave Us'. The airplane he walks through is referencing 'Real'. The kid cutting himself by the plane is in reference to 'Therapy Session'. The keys he picks up at the end is foreshadowing 'Outcast' and/or the Perception album in general. Sorry if I missed anything or if anything is incorrect. :3
Remember at the end of intro 3 where he's talking to fear.. he says at the end "i thought you had me in prison this whole time... but I'm the one holding the keys..."
You can that he is a singer. In his first verse, where he went strait through. It is all about breath contro how much to let out, when to take a micro breath. Yeah, true artist.
Ohhh also on Paid my dues he also has so many prior outfits and video references. He’s also levitating above the therapy session couch in that video. In this song he said “wrote this whole record while I was levitating” which I still believe was a nod to that bar.
The ending of outro always makes me cry. Like ‘look around u we got alot of fans in here’ and ‘im home!’ like i truly feel like im home w him. i went to his concert in march and i felt so at home.
This was like a tour for his mansion and therapy session coz this is perception outro. I'm also loving your music Knox so let me step up to the plate and see what you got
Thx so much for making this Knox, I've been waiting for it. Btw the crash crash scene is 'I Just Wanna Know' from Mansion l. It's about his relationship with his gf
This music video among other things is why you should do The Journey when reacting to NF, it's shot so well if you know all the references! Great reaction tho! As for the references: Crash site - I Just Wanna Know Guy raking leaves - Wake Up Caution Tape, Chair in the street - Intro 1 (I might be wrong but I believe it's also shot in the same street as Intro 1) And as you said already Therapy Session, Real, How Could You Leave Us and Outcast/Mansion
I see Outro music video like the journey he has been on, a journey within his mind where each scene is a memory, his mind being a dark place we are travelling it by night. but in the end, he got the key t escape this prison, this mansion he built for himself. Yeah i know it is the point but well got to say it :) Your battle sessions are awesome Knox, btw, keep on going dude !
Nice video that kid on the side of the plane Cutting his rest is from the beginning of Therapy session when he was sitting by the kid in front of the bed
I love Stevie Knight, LayedBak, NoLimit Shaq, Art of Kicks..... But only Knox Hill can really *really* break down NF. He's more than just the bars, it's build up, layers, cinematography, call backs in lyrics and visuals, referencing the old AND forecasting what's to come. Truly NF is "on a whole 'nother level of music."
Hey Knox just letting you know that Outcast is actually a part of the perception album and outro is actually before intro 3 in realise. The music video is a tribute to all of his previous music videos. The kid that you saw cutting his wrist was in therapy sessions the plane from real the keys from Outcast and more

Gotta listen to Warm up by NF please!
Here are all the visual references in this song:
"Intro" - Caution tape, location, Kicked chair
"I Just Wanna Know" - Car crash with paramedics
"Wake Up" - Man raking leaves
"Therapy Session" - Parents fighting with kid behind couch, masked family, kid cutting his wrists next to the plane
"How Could You Leave Us" - little NF, NF's mom sitting next to him on the bed, car
"Real" - Crashed plane
"Outcast" - Keys (they also represent the keys to unlock his mind thus closing the chapter of Perception album)
There are many of references NF made in his lyrics, which is why we have Knox.
Nice list... 12:09 I think there is also the frame with the tweet "Therapy Session"
Exactly
There's also a shovel on the plane from Intro II.
Keys could also mean to open up the room where fear is at
And kid from therapy session, next to the plane
Now NF has an interpreter to explain his music 🤣

Guy raking leaves- Wake up
Little kid - how could you leave us
Kid cutting his wrist/ lady on the bed (his mom) -therapy session
Airplane - real

There are so many references to his previous discography on this music video I love it. The caution tape wrapped around him references his first two Intros. The girl and the car crash references "I Just Wanna Know". The guy raking the leaves references "Wake Up". The kid leaning on the plane wreckage is also a reference to "Therapy Session"

The last kid next to the airplane was the 1st older kid in therapy season. He was cutting his wrists in that video too.

you are a real G for making playlists of your reaction series

You can that he is a singer. In his first verse, where he went strait through. It is all about breath contro how much to let out, when to take a micro breath. Yeah, true artist.
I cant wait until his new album comes out. Im so exited! I hope its going to be this year
Ohhh also on Paid my dues he also has so many prior outfits and video references. He’s also levitating above the therapy session couch in that video. In this song he said “wrote this whole record while I was levitating” which I still believe was a nod to that bar.
the paramedics and girl are from one of my favorite music videos by NF called "i just wanna know"
I've been waiting for this reaction
Love Your reactions 🔥
Quickest ive been to a video. Always down for an nf break down!!
The ending of outro always makes me cry. Like ‘look around u we got alot of fans in here’ and ‘im home!’ like i truly feel like im home w him. i went to his concert in march and i felt so at home.
Another great breakdown of an NF vid. Keep it up
This song man. Goosebumps. Every time.
Please keep doing more nf songs there's more to what he's saying it's amazing
Yessss bro I’ve been waiting for this one
Love the proper detailed explanations. Earned follow.
I love your vids keep up the great work!
The reaction I've been waiting for, it's beautiful ;w;
BROOOOOOOOO those bars in the intro were fucking FIRE!
Bro... before I even continue playing this vid I just wanna say GOD DAMN.. you just killed it in opening clip.
Another epic reaction Knox #duckgang
Bruh *Friday night cypher *
Yessss I love it when you react to NF thank youuu
NF's intros and outros are always so dope
NF WAKE UP PLEEEAAASSSEEE!!!!
15:54 "That's unreal."
With NF, it's all real.
One of my favorite NF songs got reacted to on my birthday y'all!!! Thank you so much Knox!!
This music video among other things is why you should do The Journey when reacting to NF, it's shot so well if you know all the references! Great reaction tho!
As for the references:
Crash site - I Just Wanna Know
Guy raking leaves - Wake Up
Caution Tape, Chair in the street - Intro 1 (I might be wrong but I believe it's also shot in the same street as Intro 1)
And as you said already Therapy Session, Real, How Could You Leave Us and Outcast/Mansion
Knox crazy with his flows 🐐
Yess this is one of my favorites from his! It hits different ❤️
Car crash is from I just wanna know
SoulsMaster EMINEM, NF, Dax, Joyner Lucas, and Logic or lil Wayne
But I also love juice, lil baby and others
I see Outro music video like the journey he has been on, a journey within his mind where each scene is a memory, his mind being a dark place we are travelling it by night. but in the end, he got the key t escape this prison, this mansion he built for himself.
Yeah i know it is the point but well got to say it :)
Your battle sessions are awesome Knox, btw, keep on going dude !
I feel like he is gonna drop something hot soon, bet it’s on another level. It’s gonna be dope and can’t wait, spice up my playlist of all his songs.
Best reactions hand s down!!!
Knox hill: that's unreal
me: no it's very real that's the point 😂
Nice video that kid on the side of the plane Cutting his rest is from the beginning of Therapy session when he was sitting by the kid in front of the bed
NF-The Searchhhh!!
Say what anyone wants. Knox is the best bar breakdown reaction teacher. Better than the OGs and new. But that's just my opinion.
Idk man TheThirdErnest is really top notch in bar breakdowns, that's like his big thing
@@themcking5987 I appreciate your opinion. This is just mine.
15:54
Knox: "That's unreal"
Nahh, it's Nf bro, it's Real.
@Knox Hill The kid at the end was the kid cutting himself from Therapy Session
I love Stevie Knight, LayedBak, NoLimit Shaq, Art of Kicks.....
But only Knox Hill can really *really* break down NF. He's more than just the bars, it's build up, layers, cinematography, call backs in lyrics and visuals, referencing the old AND forecasting what's to come.
Truly NF is "on a whole 'nother level of music."
Listened to this song like 100 times and you still found things I never realized about it
More NF :), always love the reactions.
Boi
Straight But Gay Boi
All intros and outros are amazing
The beat for this song has always made me think of the Dark Knight 🦇
Love your breakdowns man. Love your passion for the music. Much respect for you. Please react to Destiny, Know, Green Lights, or Intro 1&2.
Hey Knox just letting you know that Outcast is actually a part of the perception album and outro is actually before intro 3 in realise. The music video is a tribute to all of his previous music videos. The kid that you saw cutting his wrist was in therapy sessions the plane from real the keys from Outcast and more
Mesus just dropped ANOTHER album and its killer. Love the NF recations!! Ready for Lost album
Can you react to Lie - nf
the jab at eminem feels kinda like a response to when eminem was talking about NFing Therapy Session
Been waiting for this song since you did paid my dues.
Your reaction so pro love you man nf real music.....Love your music to
Thanks for that man. Going on all levels 🙌
the car crash is from the song 'i just wanna know' a very good song also
