Herrnsteig - Kronplatz - 1300 Vertical Meters Downhill

Run on the Herrnsteig trail at Kronplatz, South Tyrol, Italy. It's a 8 km long flowy trail with a descent of almost 1300 vertical meters. Footage is from July 2016.
I had problems with my chest mount so the original footage was quite shaky. But I could stabilize it with ProDRENALIN V2 Plus.

GoPro Mount:
When I ride the enduro bike I use the GoPro Chesty mount. It's not perfect and I have to tighten it quite a bit.

One single run on the Herrensteig is quite long. Footage is from last year. The chest mount was not that tight so it was quite shaky. I stabilized it with ProDRENALIN V2 Plus. If you like a flowy trail with perfect built berms and not much need for braking that is not just for beginners this may be the one for you.

I rode this trail yesterday, at the time you recorded this, it was way smoother than it is now. The first part is now definitely rockier than a few years ago.

I haven't been there since this video. So I don't know. But I have not heard anything from Kronplatz lately so maybe they don't maintain it properly. Overall it's a fun track but some section are steep and thus breaking pumps emerge and the rocks come out.

Danke! Leider unten das Problem mit dem Dreck auf der Linse - genauer im Gehäuse. Außen reinige ich sie eh bei jeder Pause. Da der Trail so lange ist, sind wir nur 4x gefahren (und 2 andere Trails). Davon 2x die alternative Line. Bei der Standard-Line 1x Akku aus und 1x Dreck auf der Linse :( Windgeräusche sind oben leider auch sehr markant - wird in Zukunft besser mit externen Mikrophon und Windschutz.

Ja, da gibt's einige feine Trails. Auch z.B. Latsch, Meran (Vinschgau). Oder Molveno/Paganella. Als wir letztes Jahr Kronplatz waren, sind wir am nächsten Tag dann weiter ins Fassa-Tal. Siehe Video von der Latemar-Umrundung: th-cam.com/video/98JVgG90eEQ/w-d-xo.html
