These dudes are freaking crazy. It is tough enough to ride a bike in that terrain, but they up the ante by going full speed. Fun to watch.
The average downhillers ability to descend is tremendous, however, their aerobic capacity isn't so good!

Amazing watching this guy getting passed late in the race, especially when we know how hard and fast he went at the beginning and during the middle of the course! These dudes have incredible cardio and skill.
It's a shame they couldn't start at the top. The snow is the best part!

Having briefly rode trails, nowhere likes these men, I found that's its mostly mental toughness. Your body/legs will hurt, that's a given, but can you keep going despite?
I would love to do cross countrie ridding but I got a nukeproof pulse in stead of a nukeproof mega 275,

My riding gear is a skin suit (it's a two-piece that cross-country or road guys tend to use) with the protective gear on top. Lots of movement, gives me nice protection and it's very very light and aerodynamic. Another feature of tight clothing is that it usually is a lot warmer, very nice for high altitude.

much respekt!! YOu are very fast technicaly there are sections you are really good but physically you are not enough it is sad you could have been in the top ten easily. But much respect anyway. I would say you should train maybe more uphill with road bike and make long/serious BMX (race) trainings i'm sure it would help.
