In this video I interview KSHMR, a world renowned EDM and Hip Hop Producer. You know him from the hit songs, the festivals, and the massive sample packs (Sounds of KSHMR), and today we'll hear his story, his secret to inspiring artists, and how he went from creating beats at home to releasing a groundbreaking new album featuring the biggest names in the Indian hip hop scene. And of course, we'll tour his studio. KSHMR has just released new album, Karam, featuring hip hop artists like MC STAN, Seedhe Maut, Raja Kumari, Yashraj, Nazz, Munawar Faruqui, Raftaar, and many more. We talk about KSHMR’s journey to produce Karam, his EDM career, hip hop beginnings, and of course his creation of major sample packs and plugins.

10 years from now, people will realize what Karam has done for the Indian HipHop scene..not at all easy to get so many artists to work together on a single project and the album bangs as well..surely this is going to be remembered.

The Music Production and Sound Engineering in KARAM is just Insane. This Album instantly became my 2nd favorite album in DHH after Nayaab. KSHMR is the real GOAT in Music Production ❤🔥

KSHMR seems to be the happiest when Sanjay liked the candy 😂 Great interview btw, loved the thoughts process behind this legend's career and workflow.
I bought a bag of that candy before I left LA! LOL! Yeah, I knew KSHMR did a lot, but he is nonstop with the quality music, packs, plugins, and so much more.
I like it when big producers are humble enough to ask their peers "How about you? What do you use?" on the CA mic processing.
They've both got processes that work but they're still open enough to explore other ways to improve what they do. I also like that KSHMR and Sanjay are honest enough not to sugarcoat and glow on an expensive instrument. They acknowledge the imperfect experience with their tools.
This was a great intro to KSHMR! I actually used to pick up his sound packs on Splice but never knew the extent of his work. Great job SanJay! I look forward to more interviews/studio tours like this

I know it might seem strange for an African-italian based in Australia, but I am a fan of Indian hip hop, especially Punjabi hip hop!! I wasn't aware of this project! btw Divine is amazing! I heard him on few tracks!!! I will definitely check out this project out!! probably if the late Sidhu moose was alive would have been on this project! and I definitely agree with KSHMR when he says that Indian hip hop has its unique vibe.. which is why I listen to it.. not only because I like it.. but also for inspiration as a musician myself!! dope interview! #brownmunde
