I'm actually planning on a desk build myself since the MK S88 (which, by the way, your video on it was one of the few that swayed my decision on buying it) doesn't fit in my current set up. Trying to make small adjustments this year for a build video. I have the same LG UltraWide as you, but I cracked the screen a few days ago, so that's been fun haha. I'll def be stealing some ideas from here!
Of all you’ve acquired and amassed Im most impressed that you have in your possession a wife that enjoys your passion as much as you do! “He who finds a wife finds a good thing”… I bet I speak for many gear heads and musicians alike that having a mate that’s onboard WITH YOU and not just accept that’s what you do is #goals!! I go between my aging PC and my 2019 MacBook Pro. I have an ultrawide on my PC desk, too, and it's amazing.

It’s also super cool that you have the full support from your wife and that you include her in everything you do. You guys make such a great team. Even your pets are all included. You have such a great collection of gear, it’s epic. It’s so complete and full of such unique items with lots of history.
In the future, I’m definitely getting an 1176 with the LA2A combo and must have that Avalon. I recently ran an electric guitar in the instrument line in on the front of an Avalon and got some great warm guitar tones. Gotta let it warm up a while though.
I’m still just so in aww and blown away by your setup. I want to take TH-cam seriously now and attempt to take it to the next level like you did. Great job!!!

Love the set up… re new speakers think about PSI Audio. 1176 every time, you’ve rekindled my want of some 500 series preamps, eq & compressors
I am now using a Dell XPS15 laptop (I forget the specs for the moment) for my music production. I have the Steinberg UR-22C as my audio interface; the Arturia Keylab 61 Mk2 as my main keyboard controller and three ROLI LUMIs as an auxiliary MPE one*. No monitors but I have both the Sony MDR-7506 and the Beyerdynamic DT-990 [OG] as my headphones. The microphones are AT-2020 and AKG D5. I even have a Zoom H3 that I use as a field recorder and even an auxiliary studio.
Still have the Yamaha CS2X that I got as a teenager, a Kawai K5000W (that still needs to be refurbished) and a Roland Fantom X8 [OG].
Cubase for tracking/mixing, WaveLab for mastering/audio editing, Dorico for composition/notation (if prompted) and I even have SpectraLayers Pro for audio editing (haven't used it much yet).
Don't ask me about my plugin collection ;) =]
* Yes I am eyeing on an all-in-one replacement. So far, the Seaboard Rise 2 is a contender and the Expressive E Osmose is a dream.
Loved the video when it came out and now reviewing as I remembered you use Alexa to Power On Studio...which is what I want to do as it is a hassle to individually turn on my audio interface, Arturia Keystep and Moog Werkstatt with none of them with a power button of their own. You power on in sequence to avoid monitors to pop...good idea. I will purchase off your link and see how it goes. Thanks for the tip! 😊

Ad 10:01 question: we’ll, I have the KRK Rockit 5, G4, but I have only got a mini Homestudio where these monitors fulfill my needs. But, of course, I can‘t recommend some or tell you which ones to buy, as I never had any others. You will probably buy those which are best for you and your studio. I often read about Genelec which are of course in an unaffordable price range for me …

Did a similar thing. Moved to a new house and it has a one bedroom attached rental. I turned that into my studio. I have significantly less resources tho. And it isn’t properly shaped? But it gets me away from the wife 😂

At the synth wall, are you just running many of those synths in Mono out? I have the ProFX 12 and wish I had more stereo channels.
If i Had to choise it would be the 1176, I just use it more often that the LA2A. Thats basically my only reason
Very nice studio indeed ! I use a MacBook Air (M1) 16Gb Ram, 520Gb SSD It works really really good. I use Logic Pro and also ReasonStudio

I built my own computer for music production Sanjay it has 64gbs of Ram with 1tb hardrive inside in it as well as two external hardrives hooked up to it am looking to add another external hardrive I enjoy watching your channel have gotten so many idea's for my home recording from just watching your channel thanks Sanjay
