We could have had an industry as strong as Disney or Anime but sadly the country’s priorities pushed the population into engineering and medical fields (respectable professions, no doubt) purely for better pay and survival. But considering we had a huge population interested in cinema and arts, we could have definitely helped birth a massive conglomerate.

Better animation that what airing on the 2018+ pogo and tv :( It's a sin to compare these amazing art to money machine at the first place... .if they focused on good art rather than pleasing audience or making money, it would have been a thing for sure...
I am a 17 year old boy .. it was always a dream of mine to be an animator but due to lack of confidence in myself and peer pressure.. i am preparing for IIT ... I still feel cursed .. not being able to pursue what i wanted ... But still when i will be in college i will try being an animator..
