- Animation, what is our world view of it. Maybe some cartoon you watched when you were small. Ishan Shukla tells the tale of Indian Animation which coincides with his career. He makes people familiar with the quality of work done in Animation. How Animation is taking up relevant issues of today and pushing margins of dissent. He also recognizes the danger of art aligning with commercial interest and the way of a artist through it. He ends with leaving questions in people's minds which open up a whole world, a much better world. Ishan Shukla is an Indian Animation Film-maker whose film ‘Schirkoa’ was first of its kind to be nominated for the Academy Awards. His love for animation and creative arts propelled him to drop out from BITS, Pilani where he was pursuing his engineering. To explore his unique sense of art, Mr. Shukla enrolled at the 3D Sense Media School, Singapore, in 2008.
His film-making boasts of an interesting mix of diasporic as well as magic realist elements wherein he explores the Syrian crisis vis-a-vis an animated medium. It takes a genius to bring to life an unprecedented combination of dire realities in an animated platform. Needless to say, Ishan Shukla that has put the Indian animation works on world map, moving the artistic as well as geo-political boundaries of contemporary Indian film-making. Today a West Bengal suicide due lost his pc his dad broke that he makes a animation movie after work 1.5 years hard manage money from uploading gameplay on TH-cam over 60k sub and after that he want a huge stream regularly to promote movie. But his dad broke the pc and his hard work ruined

this is EXACTLY what I've been thinking and.The moment I realized this reality I made up my mind in high school to somehow get into a good animation program .FYI the only good one that treats animation as an art form for potential change would be the course in NID .I'm currently a design student in Singapore with a diploma in illustration and animation .It's sad I had to leave this country to get that kind of education but I hope I can contribute once I'm back to India .
Its really hard to see , bcuz I want to become an animator but I dont want to become a burden for my family and I dont want to make a source of income from any boy / source of income = husband (married life).....No, No way I want to fullfill my dreams with my own money I want to become Independent with a healthy state of mind. Im a 12th passout and literally, Im really very confuse whether I have to pursue animation course or not, I hope that someday the Indian industry of animation can able to fulfill the dreams of many animation aspirants who are suffering and doubting themselves whether they want to continue their journey on this harsh path or just QUIT their dreams and do something that they actually dont want to do but they have to (FOR LIVING) and Im one of them.

I am working as an animator and the reason I took this as courier is manga and anime..
I am earning quite decent here in India.
But now thinking of learning Japanese and move to japan for courier boost and fulfilling my dream to work as an animator in an anime..
Obviously, your video tells the situation is very bad in japan.. but I am not ready to give up on my dream this easily..
Should I come to japan or should I just stay here and work here ???

find a job first then work to up your skills start small see if you fall in love with it then make your first short animation gather your art portfolio then move to the Us or france apply or pitch a short film to a studio or go to art galleries do an exhibition then sell your artworks if someone finds the stories compelling they will invest in you

I also gave a thought of this fact of opening an Animation Startup Company.. Which would create great high end quality animation (just like Anime but in our own way and also showing our own culture as a part of it) and it could eventually become a successful startup.. And would become a billionaire company too.. Since there is sudden huge increase in the Indian Anime Audience in the couple of years.. That means a crowd to watch Animation and is even quite increasing since our Youth is greater in no. as compared to any other country.. So there's a fanbase too which are ready to watch it.. It could even incite and encourage many people to join the Animation Community and create an Animation of our own for our India.. Which would further help to provide employement to many people .. And could even become a resolution to solve the problem of unemployement .. And would further contribute to the GDP of India.. Which would lead to the development of India.. I hope this Dream of mine not just become a dream of mine but infact Reality..

Its sad when an artist complains about the current mentality of people. Nobody said world is fair bro.
If you want to make an animated movie for yourself anyone can make it.
If you want to make a movie for the masses you have to please them not educate them why they should like your movie.
Unless someone complains or brings to notice major flaws in people's taste and mentality, change cannot come.
Sure, Rome wasn't built in a day, but if every person who built it thought the same...they'd never start working. So I say it's completely okay and even recommended to complain and voice your opinion against the status quo, especially if it's rather miserable.
Not everyone can appreciate animation, but we all know the greatest media company today is Disney whose roots lie in animation, hence...just for the sake of progress in media... animation should be explored more.
