Dundas Jafine is now pleased to offer a new UL Listed & Marked version of the semi-rigid aluminum duct. This particular duct can be used in applications where the dryer manufacturer calls for a UL version of an all aluminum product. The UL duct is 35% thicker than the standard version and new manufacturing technology incorporated into the duct allows for easy rotation and therefore more durable handling of the duct by the contractor.

Is this semi rigid the only one that's approved to meet the city codes? Ive heard the foil flexible ones are illegal

I tighten the clamp on the back of the dryer and it can easily be pulled off.

Is it the semi-rigid duct that you attached to the back of our dryer? What type of clamp are you trying to use to tighten this duct to the dryer exhaust port?

This flexible duct does not fix regular ducts. I tried to use this 5"x8' flexible duct with regular 5' ductwork and it doesn't fit. You'll pull your hair out trying. Perhaps it works with dryer fitting or something, but definitely not regular ductwork.

Is it possible to get female (over the pipe) elbows on BOTH ends?
I have a damper installed inside the wall vent so the elbow must go
OVER, not inside the vent.
