As with the Audi Allroads the previous Gen of this Mercedes (this exact version) looks better than the never Gen (changes are minor) but not for the better in the newer models.
@CoDGplays lights look old, but it still looks good

Looks better than an SUV ! I prefer a lifted wagon than an SUV.
The engine is spectacular for a 2L diesel and produces more power than it should for the MPG you are getting.
I love This car, in UK we have only 3 litre diesel motors available with this car and premium plus package with few upgrades e.g. full Nappa Leather. Really recommend this car for active people that require transport skis, bikes etc.
I just love the 220d. What a great engine. It is smooth and refined and just so economical and it has really good torque. The power is more than adequate. What more do you need?

@@lbnewell23 But the E350 cost 30.000 euro more than this version. Nah, it is really not worth it. :)
@@andersnielsen6044 it may not be worth it but he said what more do you need my answer to that was more power. If the question was what more do you want the answer would be more affordable power
@@lbnewell23 This car goes 240 km/h that is more than enough for blowing thru' Europe on a skitrip or whatever.. It goes with approx 2000 rpm's at 180 km/h and does it efficiently as well. It is more than okay. Even tho, you could go longer stints on the Autobahn with the e220 than the e350 due to the lower consumption. So it actually might be "quicker" on the trip as well, timewise. :)
@@lbnewell23 I would rather go with 30.000 euro extras with this engine, than the bigger engine. It is not a sportscar and it is not intended to be either. 400 nm is more than enough to "pull" the car. :)

I really do like the electric towbar, but takes long, I think that is because when you accidently press it, it would not ruin your trailer and car
Ik vind die elektische trekhaak echt vet. Duurt wel lang voordat hij echt eruit komt maar dat is denk ik hij niet inklapt als hij wordt ingedrukt

I would really like to clean my shoes before I'm getting in the car...
It is very bad habit to use such smooth soil roads in the wet weather conditions. The ground becomes soft and non-rigid so car ride in this case spoils the road for others. Just wait a little when ground becomes dry and solid then continue to drive.
Here it's June of 2022.. The E-Klasse wagon in the States comes only one way.. It is with the neu In-line 3.0I6 cyl w/ 362PS...& 9sp auto gearbox..
The MB All Terrain when it comes to ground clearance height,,,, sucks. . A similar auto the 3.0IV6 Audi A6 Allroad's ground clearance height is much greater.. In the States, the much improved '22 Subaru Outback XT Touring wagon has a ground clearance of over 9 inches ... The turbo 2.4I 4cyl 270PS 4x4 Outback complete with dual-pane glass is one quiet off-roader.. The Colorado Uber ski wagon... Yeah, yeah... I ordered a Selenite Grey metallic '23 MB All-Terrain in defiance of the smart purchase,, A Subi Outback ...
lol an Outback is not comparable with these premiums.. You can compare your Outback to a Lada Niva and other chinese/russian war-material.
Would probably trade my A4 Allroad for it if I could justify the slightly better interior. I think the looks is unique and elegant 👌

I think that the Volvo looks better, but in terms of engines, the Mercedes wins. That 3 litre diesel is very smooth

It is also 25.000 euro more expensive.. It is better yes, but on a budget this is just fine. :)

***** I didn't catch that part. Anyway it isn't though. I have driven it and it is not underpowered. It is perfectly adequate. I think it's all relative. He drives all types of cars and some are seriously fast so this will feel slow....for him. But for most it'll feel more than adequate.
SDav21 I think you miss the point....this is not the only Diesel engine. I know the economy is great and it's relatively powerful but a ridiculously engine??
