Beautiful model and excellent flying display. I worked on the Real Deal back in the day when I was still an active A&P Aircraft Mechanic.
The real aircraft is a very capable aircraft when flown within its design parameters and can do all that a competent pilot asks of it, again within its design parameters.
I enjoy the sounds of a Radial engine and the Moki engine powering this fine model is no slouch either. My only complaint is the exhaust pulse sounds. It would sound FAR more realistic if first funneled into a collector then overboard.
The.orginal aircraft with, say an R1830 radial has exhaust pipes in several places and actually helps to create the unique sound that earned the entire aircraft the moniker of sounding like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang from the movie. I oftentimes miss working on warbirds.

_Thank you for your kind words, which I really appreciate._ 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
There are many kind of exhaust systems which does enormously change the sound. But please keep in mind that these are 5 cylinders with only 250 cc.
_I invite you to watch some of my videos and you will see what I mean._

Gorgeous plane, gorgeous sound and very fine flying. First time I recall ever seeing a T-28.
Wind seemed pretty vicious - quite a relief to get it down safely.

In the 1970s, I flew these as a Navy flight instructor for over a thousand hours. Love the sound on start-up, the retractable gear and the flaps. Fantastic job in replicating the original!

I did in the early 90's work on a full scale T28 rebuild and I have to admit, this scale one is just AWESOME. Still rookie in RC, but would love to find an awesome scale model like this one. I know this one is scratch build. THUMBS UP to the builder. If it ever come for sale... I would love to be aware.

I dont know if you'll see this Alain Carpentier, but I have a kit (I forget by whom but could look if you are interested) that has some water damage to the box, but is otherwise the kit is in good shape.
IIRC it is a little over a meter in W.S. and is designed for a 60-sized engine or similar.
If you'd be interested in it, I'd be willing to chat with you about getting it to you for a very modest price.
      You can email me at:
      huggybearuno@aol.com
Please put T-28 Kit in the Subject Line if you send an email.

that is a real nice t-28. I just wonder why everyone uses the same paint job. there were 6 squadrons flying t-28s. I was in VT-2, am doing a repaint on a 1400mm t-28 now. that aircraft no longer exists as it was lost in a crash in Canada.

@@RCScaleAirplanes Put a Spektrum SAFE - AS3X-receiver into it and the shaking is gone. I have done landings with a 1,4 kg 1,5m foamy in superghusty winds of 40 mph. That was a bit more ambigious than in low wind but not a real problem if you know how your plane reacts on stick input

according to the comments this plane is a kit that was scratch built, but according to the defections of these two terms, the plane can either be a kit or it can be scratch built, but not both. would expect rc scale modelers to know this.

As with most model flyers, the plane looks scale on the ground but has no resemblance to the real thing when flown like a pylon racer. Sad!! Watch some videos of the real thing and back off the throttle.

    Dear RCSA ,
With all respect, I would like to emphasize that this is not a hobby scale model but an
unmanned aircraft... Mein Gott ! , wingspan 3.22 mtrs weight 34.8 kg. To
hire this kind of hobby you have to pay aerodrome taxes ... hangar etc
have at least three assistants, a huge car with a trailer and a tolerant
wife. So this time I will refrain from technical commentary , because I have none of the above .......lol...lol...:) . :)
